    Drunken Noodles with shrimp
    Kelly M.

This was our first time visiting, and unfortunately, it didn't leave a great impression. When we walked in, we weren't greeted--just glanced at by the staff, who then went back to what they were doing. We spent quite a while looking over the menu, but no one offered to assist us. When we were ready to order, we stood by what appeared to be the register, but no one approached. Eventually, we moved to the other side, and only after completing several to-go orders did a staff member come over. Ironically, he mentioned the register we had originally been standing at was the correct one--but no one had told us that. We ordered the Drunken Noodles with shrimp instead of chicken and tried to order the hot and sour soup, only to be told it's no longer available. If that's the case, it should really be removed from the menu to avoid confusion. As for the food, it was just okay. The sauce on the noodles was spicy but overly sweet, and the noodles themselves were undercooked and chewy. Overall, this experience left a lot to be desired, and I don't see myself returning.

Dirty spoons in the clean spoon container.

Employees didn't smile, weren't overly friendly, and just looked like they would rather be a million other places than working at Pei Wei. In addition, when I retrieved spoons from what was supposed to be the clean silverware bin, they were dirty and covered with bits of food. Absolutely disgusting. Suggest employees inspect the silverware after washing, and if not clean run another cycle.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The entire dining room was FILLED with dirty dishes and cluttered tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food came quickly but it was hard to even find a table to sit at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's been over 10 years ago which tells you a restaurant surviving this close to Disney that isn't a chain restaurant they have to be good. And they are. Because of recent food allergies I have to be careful where I eat. I wasn't concerned here. They listened attentively and took all of our dietary needs to Hart. They were very very specific who got white and who could eat what when they came to the table to serve serve. It's not some big fancy theme park type restaurant inside but it's nice and clean. I'm still laughing my friends had no idea I had been here and had even told them about it. Oh well, they bought me dinner so I shouldn't complain. The service is excellent, of course they listen to you when you order which is important, the food was hot, fresh, visually appealing as well as smelled incredible. When we were done they were quick to clear away and box up anything that we asked. I don't like too much hovering over a table but I also don't like to have to go hunt down my weight staff. Just the right amount without being annoying or unresponsive. I will definitely come back here again and remind my friends I have been here. Lol

The hotel lobby was very clean and sleek, and the concierge were very nice and communicative! The restaurant is just inside on the first floor, and was very well presented. It was very slow this morning for brunch, and we had no problems finding a place to sit with our little 2 month old boy! The staff served us quickly, and explained each of their recommendations. I'm so glad we listened because each of the items were beautifully presented, and so so delicious. We started with the tuna pizza, mainly because we were curious, and that was the most unique take on pizza/seafood in my opinion. The tuna was so fresh, the garlic aioli complimented very well with the crisp cracker/crust. I had the Ette Norwegian Benedict and was very happy. The smoked salmon was very tasty, and the side arugula and avocado salad was very fresh. Maddie had the lobster roll which absolutely slapped! Lastly, we were recommended the AB Chocolate in a cup, and WOW you must try this! Very warm nutella chocolate cake at the bottom, vanilla ice cream all the way to the top of the cup, and topped with a hard chocolate disk and banana foam. It was honestly one of the top desserts I have ever had. We shared one, but so tempted to order another one! I can't wait to come back and try some of their cocktails sometime with dinner!

You have to pay to secure your seating, including mandatory 20% tip. Equaled out to $100/pp. Very steep! Reservations were easy on Open Table. We arrived separately & met in the lobby of the hotel the restaurant is in. Very upscale. Gorgeous. Literally NO guests visible. No staff at the hostess station. When I walked in to the bar to ask about seating, I got very dismissive responses from the bartender & the person who ended up being the host. Like WEIRD rude. Service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was largely empty the whole time. It was unnerving. The tea refresh was simply more hot water, NOT a fresh tea bag, so round two was basically flavorless. Ew. The server was really nice, but the long waits to get her attention were frustrating. And the water bottles were kept away from our table (?). I was having thirsty day, so my tongue was sticking to the roof of my mouth for way too long. When I asked for the bottle, she acted like she was irritated because it was "right behind" (me). Where neither of us could see it??? The lighting was AWFUL so most of the pics look bad, even with heavy editing. You can tell it's beautiful, but the pics are rough. Now - the settings were GORGEOUS. The dishes and flatware were beautiful. The water options were wonderful. The food is in the top 3 of any tea service I've ever had. The tea itself is hands down the best tea I've EVER HAD anywhere. You get a sampler box to smell before you choose, and there were so many that I loved. I ended up with Marco Polo blue, add honey and cream. I couldn't finish all the food, and they boxed the remainder up. Let me take the remainder of my water bottle home. Pushed for a review HARD. So here it is. We have to remember that the Michelin rating is solely for the food, not the decor, not the service. It definitely delivered there, but the rest really fell flat. For the price I'd expect way more as it's about double what tea costs anywhere else in the entire area.

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!

We waited 15 more minutes (20 minutes from being seated) and we flagged down a server to take our order. Another party got tired of waiting and just left. The restaurant was only 30% full so there was no excuse for this. However the food came out in about 12 minutes after ordering which is not bad. The food was delicious! We got the house knife cut noodles, pan fried Peking duck buns, and the bok choy with garlic. Everything was excellent. The noodles were so tasty with the beef being the best. The boiled egg is a little odd but it was still good. The Peking duck buns were so good! I am convinced that the only reason this place is still in business is because the food is so good that it offsets the terrible service If you have a lot of time and don't mind waiting for your food. I definitely recommend trying this place. Other people had better luck with the service but I saw at least one other person say that the service was bad. The food is 5 star but the service is 2 star so I gave it a 4 overall.

I'd pass on the sliders as they were a little difficult to eat in the boa buns and didn't have much flavor. These were so good that we tried to remake them when we got home (The waiter showed us that they put the recipe online!). The Peking duck was similar, with a light, crispy skin and tender meat paired with two different sauces. The Peking duck was a lot of food, and I would recommend splitting it between 2-3 people while ordering a few other options. It could serve as the only entree for two.

This most recent visit wasn't bad it just didn't live up to the experiances I have had in the past. We were sat at a really odd table, kind of off to the side by the staff kitchen entrence/exit (not the open kitchen - upstairs sort of tucked away on a corner) at a very small wobbly table. We ordered two drinks, an app, two rolls of sushi and a split entree. The table was kind of jam packed the entire evening. I had a drink spilled on me by our sever (not his fault - someone bumped into him becuase of the awkward table location and I got the drink partially poured on me) I also had another diner at a neighboring table behind us push their chair back abruptly and whack right into the back of me. Again, awkward table set up. I felt so bad for our server who obviously felt bad for us as well and probably embarrassed by the set up. He had to fix the table (we offered to do it but he insisted) spilled a drink on me, had to clean that up off of the table and floor as well. Had to deal with a tiny table full of dishes it really didn't accommodate. It really should not be there. We were celebrating my birthday on staycation so it did put a damper on the evening a bit. Food was all fine as it typically is. I do think that the portions have shrunk while I believe prices have gone up. My favorite coctail on property - the lychee martini, is here and it's way smaller than it used to. I thought I was making tat up but I looked up a photo from thr last time and yes, in fact much smaller. You can see it for yourslef in photo I peraonlly have posted from previous dining experiences vs the one I posted on this experiance. It is also a bot smaller and a differnt color - same taste exactly but definalt smaller and different. It's been there a while. It's sort of becoming a chain. It's not bad by any means, it's just not as good as it used to be and it costs more than it used to. I added a star because I know it can be better but this most recent visit left quite a bit to be desired.
