Many years ago, on the way home from my knee surgery, my wife went through the drive through and got me an order of combination lo mein. I loved it and always remembered how good it was. Why didn't I ever go back? Too many other options closer to home. Well, let me tell you... This was still the fantastic lo mein I remembered. The meats are really nice. They take the time to velvet their chicken, which a lot of places don't seem to do anymore. Plus, either the beef or the pork was nicely barbecued. The sauce has that little something extra spice-wise that I liked tasting in a lot of food when I lived in Taiwan. I think it is star anise or maybe a five-spice blend. Whatever it is, it gave the sauce on the lo mein subtle boost to awesomeness. In the future, this will be my go to restaurant for Lo Mein. I liked the way they packed everything nicely and securely for delivery. I am new to the Door Dash game, but man I am liking it.
