I ordered the B5 Grilled Beef with rice and a spice level of 2, which turns out to be perfect for me. I also had the Thai Ice Tea which was delicious and refreshing. Stopped in on a Wednesday night to dine in. There was one other party inside. Several delivery app drivers came in so I think this is more of a takeout place although they do have tables and servers. The server seemed to have trouble understanding us but we worked through it. We got chicken as a sampler but it was undercooked in my opinion so I did not eat it. I requested the basil rice with no onions but it came with a lot of onions. After picking them all out it was a really tasty dish. The other entree was also good. You can choose your spice level and I think that really makes a difference. If you're visiting I would just double check any modifications on the food. I was with a group of Master Naturalists out at Government Canyon State Natural Area. A decision was made to eat lunch on the way home. The group decided on Thai food at this venue. I ordered my usual Thai goto, pad woonsen. It was very good. I had it with the crispy pork belly and a heat level of three. It was a huge portion, and I ended up bringing half of it home. Plenty of seating and they had a few tvs. Now the reason I'm giving 3/5 stars is because the food tasted wayy too sweet, they have a lunch menu they won't honor, and portion sizing is not worth the $$$$$ I asked for a lunch menu choice and she said ok and then they told me they could not honor it because it was a holiday but.. it wasn't. We accidentally ended up here all the way from the southside of San Antonio and let me tell you I am so sad this place is so far away from home! Being 9 months pregnant I can't eat raw fish so I have to stick to shrimp tempura rolls and this was the BEST shrimp tempura roll I've had since I've been pregnant! It was perfectly crunchy and fresh and the sauce was perfect. I also got the red curry spicy level 4 and it was sooo tasty and flavorful! I would definitely get a 3 next time though because it is very spicy so be careful and play your spice level safe. My friend ordered the basil sauce fried rice which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor as well. I did not have one bad thing to say about the food. Ordered Pad Thai chicken and some egg rolls. Something you have to know is what spicy level to order. System is 1-5. I've had level 3 and that's the highest I can go without running the great flavors of the dish. This time I tried level 2 and it had a great balance of spice and savoriness. Could have been a little spicier for me, but I just added more sambal lol. Server asked us if peanuts were ok on the dish- nice to ask, we have no peanut allergies Red curry with chicken medium spicy- note the curry was def not red in color, but looking at their menu pics it was red curry. I've driven by this place many times on the way to my in-laws house and had wanted to check it out. After running a few errands, I figured I would try them out for lunch. Their lunch specials had me intrigued. I called to place my order, and spoke with a friendly woman. She advised my door would be ready in about 20 minutes. There wasn't much to the inside of the restaurant, and it seemed a little small but it didn't really matter as I was taking my food to go. Ultimately, I decided on the lunch combo with Panang chicken curry and beef and broccoli. I opted for fried rice and an egg roll. I tried the curry first. I wish I had requested some hot oil before I left, but it wasn't needed. The curry was very creamy and had the perfect amount of spice. The beef and broccoli wasn't as good as the curry, but was still solid. The carrots and broccoli were tender but not mushy. The rice was a nice complement to the two entrees. Came in for lunch to find a mildly busy location. TV's adorn the walls showing food, cooking, and life in places like Bangkok. Music is light and airy piano. Lighting is fine. Best part was a sign that basically says "if you get your food too hot and are a wuss, we won't refund you. Choose wisely." Wife started with Chinese egg rolls. They came out hot and crispy and the chile sauce with them was sweet and lightly spicy. Good. Her entree was the Rock and Roll shrimp tempura roll. Sweet from the eel sauce and fresh tasting. I had the Tom Yum Goong with chicken (traditional is with shrimp) and green curry with chicken. Both heat level 4 (out of 5). Heat level of the soup is similar to what I had in Thailand. Curry was a little more mild but delicious nonetheless. My only complaint about the curry was that they omitted Thai eggplant. Came with peas, bamboo shoots, and red bell pepper. Son had the stir fry noodles for kids. It was very garlic heavy. If your kid doesn't like garlic, stay away. I loved it. Dessert was sticky rice and mango in coconut milk. Traditional and delicious. Mango was ripe and fresh and the sticky rice had just the right amount of sweet. Overall, this is a very good place to eat if you want Asian food. Where to begin... the Edamame was fresh! Salted perfectly. Spring rolls were okay but I'm more a fresh spring roll guy. We went with the fried rolls for the kids. Now for the entrees. The Massaman Beef Curry may have been the best Thai dish I've had. Great flavors, spicy and the curry jumps off the plate. The Pad Thai was also great. Don't get the sushi, otherwise most everything else is great. I love the salt and pepper seafood, any of them are good. My family loves the basil stir fry. The wings are also really good. The Kao mun gai thod is really good as well but sometimes is a little dry. The ginger rice that comes with it is definitely better than the regular steamed rice. This restaurant just opened up last week and we've been super excited to try it. I have to admit, I was hesitant at first because they have Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese all in one restaurant. And if you're used to authentic restaurants, you know what I mean. Nonetheless, my fiancé convinced me to give this small business a try and boy... it was delicious! We called the order over the phone and they sounded super nice. We got the Green Curry with beef, Pad Thai with Crispy Pork Belly, Calamari, and 2 Thai Teas. The curry had a great amount of flavor and spice (we asked for level 4 out of 5). Pad Thai was also great. The calamari was just okay and not bad. Thai teas were on the sweeter side but very good compared to Thai teas at other places. Overall, I think it's a great restaurant for Thai food. Haven't tried other items on their menu but I'm excited to read more
