Ordered delivery from Thai hot this week, the food was very hot when delivered. I had the Tom kah ga soup, it had a sweet flavor from the coconut milk, and the chicken was tender, could've made it a bit spicier. My husband had the Panang Curry which was super flavorful and the chicken was tender and juicy! He also had the basil fried rice with pork that he said was okay, but the curry was way better. I ended up here by accident! I meant to order from a different thai restaurant also on Culebra....but I think I finally found my favorite thai spot! The servings are HUGE. I ordered chicken pad Thai to go and I'm not joking my plate was probably 1 pound. It is absolutely delicious and their hot oil is amazing. Third time here. I ordered the crab fried rice, chicken pot stickers, and the egg drop soup. Rice and soup were delicious. Plenty of crab and it lasted me 3 meals. I want to love this place, because it's convenient and fast. We ordered take out and I was so excited to have a basil eggplant stirfry, which is typically super flavorful, topped over jasmine rice, it's my thai go to when I don't want curry or noodles. The stirfry sauce is actually flavorful, but somehow it didn't penetrate the eggplant pieces, which is the reason for a star off. There's also fermented beans in the stirfry, which I haven't seen before in this dish, it's different but not bad. My husband's basil fried rice had a sweet taste which we did not like. We will try the thai fried rice next time and hopefully it'll be spicy rather than sweet. Another star off because we didn't love his entree either. The spring rolls were great though! Not a fan of sweet dipping sauces, but the rolls are piping hot and crispy, exceeds standards for a take-out order. I'll return to give them another shot. The price is competitive. The inside of the restaurant is clean and quiet, perhaps we will try dine in next time. read more

This place is tucked away in a shopping center right next to a liquor store and a vegan Asian restaurant. We went on a Friday night and there was only one other person dining. We had the undivided attention of the waitress. She was super. The food didn't take long to come out either. Parking was easy and onsite. This place is BYOB. I had: Tofu panang- a little sweeter than I am used to, but still delicious. It was a goof portion with a side of rice. Summer rolls- you can get them with or without shrimp. I opted for the shrimp. It came with peanut sauce. The order comes with three cut into 6. Definitely a good option for an appetizer. Calamari - has also vegetable tempura mixed it. It was probably my favorite of the three at this visit. If you only want calamari, this may not be a good dish for you. read more

This is a small Mom-Pop business and it was a great experience. There's a sign saying that they're "short staffed" but nothing was short about the service or food quality! I got the papaya salad, medium spicy level, and the Tom Yum soup with chicken, hot spicy level. He got the Drunken Noodles, Thai hot, and Fried dumplings. Everything was delicious, hot, fresh, and will make you go back for more! This was our first time going and I want to come back! From a takeout perspective, the experience and the food are amazing. I've tried a few items from their menu, including the general tso's chicken, pad thai, pad kee mao, and papaya salad. The general tso's chicken has a nice even coating of batter and is crispy but not oily. It is coated perfectly in the sauce and wasn't soggy. The pad Thai and pad kee mao were both good and one of the better ones that I've tasted in San Antonio. The papaya salad is very fresh and crunchy, with the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and sour. It's a must-try if you've never had it before. The green papaya is sliced thinly into matchstick pieces and then combined with tomato, green beans, and peanuts. read more

However, I think the best thing I had from here was the red curry with chicken. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it was so good and very spicy! I loved the sauce, and it had a hint of coconut flavor and some good chuncks of peppers cut up in it. The chicken was cooked really nicely too. I would absolutely get this again and recommend it to anyone that likes curry. I also tried their sticky rice, which was also good. It wasn't very sweet (I prefer this way), Mango was good and I used the coconut milk as a dip for the rice which worked for me. The food is good but make sure to pack your patience. It took us over 10 mins to get our drinks and over 45 mins for my husband to get his food and another 10 to get mine with only 2 other tables. It's just one person to take orders at tables, answer phone and take to orders. read more

It was during lunch hour so it includes a soup, egg roll and rice. However, the pad Thai was really oily but it tasted okay. The soup of the day was chicken rice.. it was okay I wouldn't order that flavor again. The egg roll was also okay and we never received the rice. We also ordered boba that was again just okay because the tapioca balls weren't cooked properly so we were sucking up lumps. I did like the decorations in the store and the staff were welcoming.
