Peju was a marvelous experience! Be sure the make a reservation beforehand though. We enjoyed a wonderful tasting menu of Peju's most notable wines and were fortunate to also try their Fifty/Fifty + Meritage (bought bottles of each). Such a beautiful vineyard both inside and out. We added a cheese platter which was well worth it for a snack and enhancing our tasting pallet. Will definitely be back and appreciated the assistance to our car with the cases of wine. read more

Peju Winery has very lovely grounds. Inside it's a really a museum and maybe the best gift shop I've seen anywhere. They have the most lovely tasting rooms. One room that I walked threw I'm so sorry I didn't photo........The counter and floor are solid stone that is the most stunning stone ever saw with strips of green white and purple.......It's worth coming here just to look at that. But the wine......... Tasting is the average Napa Price......(around $40.00) Me and my husband both agreed that this wine doesn't taste like the price it cost......Wine taste below average......Rounded up the stars to three because the help are extra nice and friendly and I really do love the grounds and the building very much.... read more

I've been a member at Peju for about 20 years. On this trip, we did the chef's tasting on day one, and the reserve tasting on day two. The food and wine selections at both were great, but the time and education provided by Joseph Foss during the reserve tasting was the highlight. The only negative thing to say about any of the experience, is that the Michelin star rated chefs dinner tasting menu at Press just wasn't all that impressive after the exceptional experiences at Peju... I'm visiting San Fran from the Midwest and decided to rent a car just so I can drive 1.5 hour to Napa for the country's popular vineyards. Of course I saw some pretty cool vineyards on Yelp. I mean there are hundreds of them , waiting for you to pick 1. I read a few reviews and decided I don't want to go to a typical clout vineyard that sucks tourists money for mediocre quality. A recent review (probably the one below mine) caught my attention. It was such a great review , I just had to come see it myself! AND IM SO GLAD I DID!!!! Scott was my Wine Educator and he was so lovely! He's been with Peju for 20 years and when he talked about his wines, he spoke with pride. I ended up getting two bottles of Province and took some lovely pictures out in the sun. I do wish they give a little bit more for each wine The property is super clean and well maintained. I do not regret one bit and if I do visit SF, I will make sure to give Peju a second visit! read more

Due to Covid-19, reservations are strongly recommended for all wineries in Napa Valley. I booked my reservation for a party of four a few weeks prior to our arrival date, you can either call in or submit online. If you're looking for insta-worthy pics, this winery is for you. The grounds are simply beautiful as are most wineries in Napa. But this has its own special charm to it. I booked their Tastings at Peju option for $50 per person. It was a seated wine tasting inside one of their many rooms, we were seated in a barrel room. You get to experience five of their most current wine releases. They do have a small bites menu in case you needed a snack. Overall thoughts, I've been to Napa many times and this wine experience was just ok in my opinion. read more

Had a lovely time celebrating a friend's 50th birthday here. We were a group of about 20 people and the winery staff made an incredible effort to ensure we had an amazing evening. Starting with a welcome drink in the front lawns where we toasted the birthday girl with some bubbly Rosé and took a million pictures in their gorgeous lawn, to the wine tasting where the sommelier made a huge effort to explain the origin and taste of each wine, all served with accompanying hors d'oeuvres and then finally on to an incredible 5 course dinner in their beautiful dining room with a massive stained glass mural on the wall and the accompanying wine pairings. What a decadent, luxurious, pampered evening. Totally recommend for any special occasion. read more

Wow no reservation tasting for $40 in Napa. A few weeks ago we turned into Peju. Saw the sign. They have a long bar and offer walk up tasting. Great wines that include one of their expensive ones called 50 50 that our host added on. It was great. We bought a few bottles and he waived one of our tasting charges. As we were leaving a large group walked up and this was the only place they found who took large parties with no reservation or surcharge. Great wines stunning room and fun. The host said they operate it on most weekends. We will drop by again the next time we are in Napa. read more

Given the plethora of wineries all over the Napa Valley to select from, Peju just wouldn't be on my list. Granted, I didn't partake in the tasting, but there's a vibe inside that just didn't appeal to me. Not sure if it was the lack of friendliness in greeting we received upon entering, or the overall dated feeling inside. It's similar to an overall vibe you get when meeting people. A connection is either there, or it's not. It's not something you can clearly define or force yourself to feel. I guess I just wasn't feeling the connection here. The grounds, however, are very nicely manicured and pleasant with fun sculptures. I'm assuming, as with all wineries, if you're a member, you're probably taken into special rooms and given special treatment. I'm not a member here, but am just assuming. It's also significantly smaller inside than it appears on the outside. The outside was what lured us in, but the inside failed to make a real impression. read more

What a BEAUTIFUL place this is. Peju Province Winery has strategically designed their place to mesmerized you into a daydream of heaven while sipping on their wines!!! From the beautiful building to the landscaping, it is just breathtaking!! I can see why there's limousines of tourists, wedding party celebrations, couples, friends/family, and more are here wandering around with cameras and wine!!! They have display cabinets of beautiful things, artwork all around, to gigantic stained glass artwork custom made to the structural. They also have their retail display area. They sell snacks, memorabilia, clothing, pictures, and of course, wines!!! We took our glass of wine and walked around. We went upstairs and saw the big wine barrels. They had a nice separate room up there. The other part had a door that we were able to step out and enjoy the view. The outdoor seating were nice to relax and enjoy our time as well. Take your time to enjoy their landscaping. They have a cool koi pond to look at. They have statues all around. The people working here were amazing!! They went above and beyond to answer all of our crazy questions!!! Overall, I always enjoy this winery for their beautiful landscaping. It's a FABULOUS spot for the romantics!! We stopped into Peju on a complete whim and are so happy we did. It actually wasn't our first choice during a day of exploration in Napa. Unfortunately for neighboring Cakebread Cellars, visitations during COVID-19 felt like entering a Hazmat zone with all the regulations (sign a waiver, temperature check, designated spacing and an almost hour long private tasting commitment), so Peju, unknown to us, got our business instead. Peju was a much better example of how to follow regulations and make people feel comfortable. A simple sign in the parking lot, a sign-in station outside, masks while tasting. Our host, Dan "the man", also respectfully asked us to step back during pours, which we were more than happy to oblige. Not only was Dan fun and informative, but the wine lived up to the lofty expectations one would have for a Napa valley winery. We are complete novices when it comes to the subtleties of tasting or wine history, but we felt right at home under his guidance. We ended up walking away with three bottles (our favorite being the Merlot). The tasting was fun, as tastings should be. It was also a beautiful property both inside and out. I only wish we'd spent more time exploring their lovely grounds. Now, the only downside: it was expensive. The tasting fee is steep enough that it basically locks you in to buying some wine. We spent almost $200 as a result. That's not a gimmick unique to Peju, but having a strong familiarity with the wine regions around Sacramento (Amador, El Dorado, Lodi, the Delta), it simply felt like Napa tourist price gouging. Call us spoiled, but we know of countless other wineries that can hook us simply with their charm and their wine as opposed to a monetary commitment. Maybe that's just what they need to do to compete. That's understandable. In any case, it was the smallest blemish on an otherwise fantastic experience I'd be happy to repeat. This place had some nice views to look at, but the customer service fell VERY short. As far as the wines...it wasn't that great. 1 of 5 was ok. The customer service aspect from our wine server was very dry and inattentive. 1/2 way through our wine tasting, we saw the food menu and we wanted to order, our wine server said, "Oh it's too late, you guys don't have enough time and we need the table." What a gorgeous place to spend a Sunday morning. My friend was kind enough to take me here as part of her Peju membership. We checked-in at the front desk, then got seated in the outdoor garden. Apparently all the indoor tables were occupied already. My friend said it gets SUPER busy right at 10am so the key is to arrive as early as possible. The indoor and outdoor experiences have different wine menus, and she never had the garden selection, so this worked out perfectly. Our waiter was a nice gentleman, and the wine was amazing. I can't remember what exactly was on the menu, but I had some of the wine before, when my friend brought some bottles to a holiday party. There's a red and white blend that's my FAVORITE, and I'll have to get a few bottles next time I'm here. We explored the property, and every square foot is gorgeous. Took lots of pictures, but those don't do it justice. The same friend invited me to the next wine pickup party as part of her membership, so I look forward to coming back here again and enjoying the festivities! read more

Lovely winery! I've had Peju wine a few times but this was my first time booking a tasting. We booked it a little last minute so there was only the standing tasting left. The service was wonderful, we were greeted with a nice rose when we checked in before our tasting started and got generous pours and got to try additional wines. The location was also really nice to walk around. We bought a few wines to take home. For every six bottles of wine, they refund you a tasting fee. Will definitely be back once their Carnival collection is back. read more

We went in for a class only and the lady who helped us out short blonde hair I didn't catch her name was amazing! We walked around outside and went inside. The bathrooms were clean. I have been to Peju many times and have always enjoyed the wines. I brought my roommates for a belated birthday trip and the tasting did not disappoint. Scott, our host, was so passionate about the wine and exuded a sort of calming and kind attitude that will disarm even the grumpiest. The ambiance was amazing as usual, it has the fairy tale essence. From the trees, fountain, and interior, this is a picturesque venue. The wines are quality as well, we bought the Provance (Sparkling and Still - a crowd pleaser for sure), Merlot, and the 50 50 Red Blend. read more

Came here for wine tasting a few months back. Since COVID, I didn't know what to expect but I was definitely looking forward to it. The wine tasting experience is not the same since you have to book your wine tasting in advance. So you can't just stop at any winery then have a look around then decide if you want to do wine tasting. Apparently that's not how it was when I went. Most of the wine tastings were fully booked! Not sure if anything has changed. I've been to several wineries in Napa but I've never been to Peju. I love the driveway entrance and the beautiful garden. The second floor has wine tasting rooms and a balcony overlooking the garden and vineyards. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! I love the building structure and the beauty of the stained glass wall art which drew my attention as I walked in. Great wine! Bought a few bottles of the Cab Sauvignon Vintage 2019. read more

I really like Peju. It's a great place to hang out with family and friends, and you can get bottles or do the tasting. Peju has ample space to hangout/picnic, find your place around the koi pond, on the grass next to beautiful sculptures, or upstairs in the balcony where you get a gorgeous view of the vineyard. Did I mention you can do a self tour and learn? Peju Province is a great (light) wine, about $26 a bottle. Share it among your friends, or have it all to yourself. Get it CHILLED! Peju provides more than your average winery tasting experience. The first thing to notice upon entering their large property is the artwork on the well-maintained grounds. Statues and flowers and plenty of room to explore outside. They also have an outdoor patio wine tasting area and a separate larger area for wine and lounging. Once inside, there's even more to explore. The interior of the Peju Winery is very nice. In the lobby there are various wine goods for sale (such as a Coravin wine preserver). The host is also there to greet visitors and will put you on a waitlist and let you know how long of a wait to expect. We actually didn't mind waiting because there was so much artwork inside to view and quite a few were for sale. Once our tasting began we had the option of tasting menus and were guided to one of several bar areas. We joined a few other small groups and there was a total of about 8 people for which a wine tender was dedicated. While he poured he explained about each wine and answered the variety of questions coming from the patrons. It was a good experience and tasty wine. I highly recommend a visit. read more

I'm a little shocked to even see that Peju has 1 star reviews! The first time I came here I fell in love. The wine smacked me in the face, it was so good. I became a wine club member on the first go and never looked back. Some of my favs: 1) Province: hands down, this is an everyday wine. It doesn't need to be paired with anything. You can have it cold or room temp. I love it so much that on my time off of work I drank a whole bottle. This is a wine everyone loves 2) Sauvignon Blanc: gosh, I never liked white wine until I had this Sauvignon Blanc. It's definitely fruit forward, it's not dry. It also doesn't need to be paired with any food, BUT this wine is also the base to my very delicious steam clam & mussels dish. It's just so good that I can cook with it, and also, have a glass of wine with my dish :) 3) Carnival: another fantastic white. There's a reason this wine always gets sold out. There's a reason this wine is not part of a tasting, and is not part of the wine club member discounts. There's a reason we always buy a lot when it comes out. I really don't want to ruin it for y'all, you just have to try it. It speaks for itself. 4) Fifty Fifty: this one will always be a debate. In my household, you are either a 50/50 lover or you are an Experiment lover. This is one of those celebratory wines. Let it age, be patient. It's good at any time, but a little longer In the bottle really does something special to it. I recently opened a 2015 50/50, and it was just phenomenal. It was worth every penny. Give it a try, even try the Experiment and you decide what you love more. Overall, I don't think I'll ever leave this winery. Every time I'm there, I always get the best customer service. They have the best pick up parties (xmas time is my fav). One thing I love is that if you don't like the wine selection, just give them a call and tell them what you want because they always give you what you want! this review would NOT have been a 5 star review if it weren't for claudy- she was an amazing salesperson! this place has more of a corporate feel, very busy, and loud on the weekends. personally, wasn't my fav wineries from this trip until we drank 2015 cab from their reserve collection. additionally, claudy gives generous pours and enthusiastic about wine. again, claudy's customer services was excellent and let us try from the variety of selections (it didn't hurt that she spoke with french accent). if you are lucky enough to work with her, ask her to curate tasting to your liking and work with your budget. read more

Ended up here since we didn't book res and had to only go to vineyards that didn't require appointments. Gorgeous vineyard w the Peju trees, Fountains and naked lady statues. Wine club is actually quite reasonably priced so ended up signing up for it. Ships quarterly. The rose of Pinot noir actually surprised me. Cabernet Franc memorable.
