Came here at around 10pm because I was heading out of White Noise and it was right across the street and I'm a huge fan of Korean fried chicken so why not. I came here once before with my friend but I my friend took care of the ordering for me so I did not have to look at the menu. This time, I actually ordered myself and had to decide what to order from the menu which I thought was pretty complicated to read. I was unsure of what to order and I forgot what I had the first time I came here so I asked the waiter for help. Don't get me wrong, service was a 5/5 for me but what I gave the 3 star for was the food. I ended up ordering the combo crispy wings which came with drumsticks and wings. Since it was my "first time" ordering, I asked the waiter what he would recommend and he broke down the many options of the menu for me. He said that since it was my first time, he recommended me to get either the original, spicy crispy, or crispy wings and he would give me some of the top dipping sauces for the wings on the side on the house (they're usually $2-3 per sauce). He ended up giving me the Pelicana (spiciness lvl 2), Garlic, and Honey Garlic Sauce. I'm really picky when it comes to sauces so I was not really a fan of the Garlic and Honey Garlic sauce but the Pelicana sauce was pretty good! It was sweet and had a bit of heat to it! The Garlic and Honey Garlic sauces were overpowering in garlic taste to me. The Honey Garlic reminded me of a Honey Mustard sauce, and I extremely despise mustard so I was not a fan of that sauce. The wings took about 15/20 minutes to make. The chicken itself was tender and the drumsticks were HUGE, however the batter for me was way too crispy. It made me feel so unhealthy after, but it's fried chicken, I get it but it was so crispy that every bite I took, there was batter that fell down on my plate and it would hurt my mouth to eat. If I were to come here again, which I probably wont, I would try the soy wings instead. I didn't get the soy wings because they said it would take about 30 minutes to make. I've had Mad for Chicken, Boka, and The Coop and all those spots serve way better KFC than this place. I am not usually in this area, but if I had known that Mad for Chicken was just a couple min walk away I would've gone there instead. read more

The person who picked up the phone had an attitude right off the bat and kept cutting me off when i was trying to speak( she also spoke pretty fast and was ticked off that she had to repeat herself). i'm only giving this a 3 star and not 1 star because i been to the actual restaurant to sit down and eat and everyone there was super nice and chill. Eat in is better so your wings don't get soggy. While the flavor is good this place is expensiveeeee. I don't know how we ended up spending $100 on a handful of items. Why do fries cost $8 bux. Overpriced for sure. The avocado salad is one avocado sliced over some lettuce and a few grape tomatoes for $10. The kimchi fried rice was a smaller portion then we'd get at other places and probably a few dollars more expensive. After they got new management the place is so much better. Their crispy chickens are so good and the pricing here is reasonable. If you're into sweet drinks, the ice cream beer is actually good. Don't expect your typical beer but think of it as a sweet drink with a slight beer taste. But when you order the pitcher it's really annoying cause it's so difficult to pour. My sister and I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and were very kindly greeted by the female waitress. We sat down and ordered our half fried chicken with a side of sauce as well as a kimchi fried rice. The restaurant was freezing and everyone was wearing their coats so we asked to have the heater turned on. After we waited 20 minutes, another group of people came in. We still had not received our food. After 10 minutes, the other party's fries came out so we asked when our food would come out. She then brought out free fries for us and said she apologized for the wait. 10 minutes later, our fried rice came out. The food was good/ nothing special. Our chicken came out over 10-15 minutes later. After finally finishing our meal roughly an hour after we arrived, we asked for our check. We were given the other table's check. I corrected them and then 5 minutes later, I see the waitress frantically run to the counter. She then calls me to the counter telling me that she charged me incorrectly but doesn't know how to void the charge. I received cash for the incorrect charge. Damn this place was really good. I was craving fried chicken when I landed in New York, and it definitely satisfied my taste buds. I ordered the lv 2 spicy fried crispy chicken and honey garlic (traditional and boneless) and a side of white powder fries ( I believe it's white cheddar powder.) I think I can handle one more lvl of spicy but for those who like that kick but can't handle the heat 2 is just right. I was apathetic towards the honey garlic because my friends ordered that flavored but they seemed to enjoy it, it was a little too sweet and reminded me of honey mustard instead. This place is honesty just mediocre. There's nothing special about this place because you can find better friend chicken at so many other places. Their chicken is too saucy and the boneless chicken is nasty. They drench it was a lot of sauce and they even keep the excess all over it. They don't try to just coat it. I tried four flavors and I'd have to say my most favorite one wasn't the soy garlic. It was in fact and the sweet and sour flavor. The honey garlic one was the one I hated. It should be named honey mustard instead... cause no way did it taste like honey and garlic. Wasn't a huge fan of it. I did however really enjoy their pickled radishes. Throw a bottle of soju in there and you're good to go. Get lit for me. We also had a pitcher of the Grapefruit Ice Cream Beer and they use Schöfferhofer for that one. It's also brilliant and super refreshing. A bottle of soju is about $11 here, which I think is pretty standard for when you go out to a restaurant and get one. My boyfriend and I got the boneless half garlic sauce, half sweet and sour. The order was MORE than enough for the two of us. The garlic is slightly spicy with a very strong garlic taste, which I love. The sweet and sour was a good balance of tangyness and sweetness. We came around 12 and the service was excellent. The staff here is friendly and service is prompt. Got the fries with truffle oil, fried calamari with white snowy cheese, and a basket of crispy wings, you can't go wrong with any of them. The signature sauce (2 star spicy) was also very good. A cool thing about the ice cream beer pitchers is that they come with LED ice cubes in the cups. The fries are always amazing and perfectly crisp on the outside with a soft interior. My favorite sauce was actually the signature it was sweet and had a hint of spice to it. Garlic was my second favorite. The reason for my 5 stars is for our server, (the receipt said his name was Kevin but we had two servers waiting on us) he saw that our group was indecisive on which sauces to get and recommended the signature which turned out to be my favorite. He also offered to have the scallion sauce on the side which is also a good move because no one liked the scallion sauce LOL. And then!
