They said the estimated time for this would be around 5 days. After 10 days of them not contacting me, I called them. They said the write up was ready so I went to shop only for them to tell me it is not ready and to come back in a couple days. When I went back, the person who did the write up lost the paper and we had to go back AGAIN for a new paper. A 5 day simple write up turned into a 3 week back and fourth with this shop (and 3 weeks with no bike which is my main form of transportation). Story #2: I asked for 2 tubes for my bike and they gave me 2 different sized tubes BOTH OF WHICH WERE NOT THE CORRECT TUBE. Story #3: I asked for a tube for my bike and I gave them the model (which they sold to me). The person asked me what size it is which I forgot. So he replied "well I don't know that bike go figure that out yourself" (while he was at a functioning computer in which he could have looked it up for me). Story #4: I also had a kick stand repair after it fell off (my bike has a specialize built in kickstand) and it fell off again after 2 rides.

Just today I walked into the Route 9 shop with a broken/jammed BOA dial on my shoe. I was looking for a repair kit, which I wasn't really expecting them to carry but I was taking a shot in the dark because ordering one from BOA would have taken about 10 days and I wanted to use the shoe this weekend, if it was possible. Landry's didn't carry the specific repair kit that I needed, which was fine because it's pretty obscure, so I resigned myself to not being able to use my shoe for a while. But the guy I was dealing with in the shop ended up fixing my shoe right in front of me himself using the world's smallest hex wrench in about 120 seconds. I asked him what I owed him and he said, "nothing." He even gave me the wrench! I was so stoked that my dial problem was solved that I forgot the guy's name. But he was a big dude, with long hair, glasses and he was wearing flip-flops lol. ‍ Anyway, thanks to him, my weekend is looking up!

Poor communication. I dropped my bike off needing a new set of wheels, tires, rotors, everything…read morebut the frame. The salesperson said it would be close to 400 and that I might consider buying a new bike instead. He said he would call once he had the quote and I could decide whether it was worth it to repair. I called 2.5 weeks later and the bike had been ready for 10 days, costing 419 before tax. I was expecting less than 400, and to have a conversation before the work was done. I was not told to look for an email, which was automatically sent when the bike was done. I expressed this to the next salesperson when I picked it up, and I was told that they wouldn't have called me and that they would have given me a quote at drop off. The bike is looking good, but I will not be returning due to this experience.
