We went to this place originally interested in pumpkins a few years ago, but found it to be quite a fantastic winery. We became Crush members which I highly recommend. We recently took a wine tour that is paired with a tasting and loved the experience. Cory was our tour host who was quite fun! Great winery and venue!! Went here recently for "Nashville Nights" with friends and had a blast. It is a yearly music event and so much fun! Music and country band were on point, there were food trucks and vendors selling clothing and jewelry...also tons of spots to take pics and enjoy the warm summer night. We ordered their famous Frozeezies (wine slushes)...a tad sweet but definitely refreshing and perfect for the weather. I also ordered a glass of Chardonnay and it was buttery and delicious. The winery itself is beautiful with a large barn style tasting room and gift shop, vineyards, etc. The winery also hosts several events throughout the year that we are excited to go to...this place is definitely worth checking out when in Temecula. read more

Not my first time leaving review but they literally have gotten worse. Came in today and not only was the bartender on his phone but the MANAGER came out saying "oh that's not good" instead of correcting the situation. Left early cause they were having an event, went to go back and get my car but all gates were closed with no warning, no signs saying that I would not be able to come back and get my vehicle. Today is my first real visit where we can grab a glass of wine and some food. The last time we were here, we got told we're not allowed because we brought our puppy with us. It was listed on Yelp that dogs are allowed but they only allow service dogs. Miscommunication I suppose. They should be more specific on the details as to what kind of dogs are allowed to be on the premise. Every person has a personal preference on their wine so I cannot say whether or not they have great wines. I like Cabernet Sauvignon & Bordeaux and I didn't see it on their wine list here. So I made due with a glass of Tempranillo. It's not bad. Service here is decent. Staffs here were nice and greeted us. One of the staff were accommodating when my husband asked to taste before he ordered his glass. She happily popped a new bottle open. Either guests busted their own tables or the staff were on point keeping the tables clean and ready for patronage to sit and chill. I first came in October and they had a pumpkin patch farm that looked amazing. Lots of pumpkins in its designated area. They charged a fee to enter though and for this month/season, they have an ice rink. It's cool for the city to have an activity to do at a winery. Pretty bummed.. the outdoor atmosphere and location is great, but every time we go (as a younger couple) we get terrible service, not welcoming, no explanation of menu, no clear last call times/ closing times etc.. even when they are written on the chalk board they are wrong. I wish they would treat everyone with respect and have better service in the future.. especially when we go with our parents and see a clear difference in service. I am 55 years old. Wen to horticulture school and have been a wine drinker half my life. I have not seen a place with pour of this size for $28. I couldn't find a wine that I liked. Wow I'm shocked!! This used to be our favorite spot, we have been members for about 2 years, we enjoyed taking our friends and kids here because it was family friendly. My daughter loved to sing along and dance to the live music. Within the last couple months there has been a huge change. We went there today and we had our kids playing right next to our table and the manager and security guard came right over and said they can not play or run, they said they need to sit down at the table with us. Family friendly?! We were excited to show our friends how much we like peltzer and realized we were unwanted. My friend suggested we go to her winery, we were kindly greeted there with our kids and had a wonderful afternoon. read more

I'll admit up front, I've been here a handful of times but it's been years. They have changed so much and really developed a first class experience. When my now 11yr old was much younger we would go to Peltzer games in the fall for pumpkins, corn maze, pig races. It was fun but nothing up to the standard they are currently displaying. Today we went ice skating. $40 for 1.5hrs and skates. We had so much fun! They had music and food trucks. The winery is very nice as well. We live in Palm Springs and come to Temecula quite frequently. We try a different winery each time we come and today we tried Pelzer. We usually go next door at Vindemia. One person working. Wouldn't let me stand at the bar. Told me to sit somewhere and he would bring the wines to me. NOT! I had to get up after each taste and go back to the bar to get the next wine. I shouldn't have to do that! Also, pours extremely small. Nice place and decent wines but very poor service. We won't be back! read more

The place is just ok nothing to write home or bring up when talking about wineries with friends. They charge a convenance fee in addition to taxes. So their tasting isn't greedy enough so why not add on more fees. I will never be back! read more

Had the most uncomfortable experience at this winery. I came here with my fiancé for a birthday party and showed up a little early to enjoy a glass of wine together. Instead, as we asked for tastings to see which wine we would enjoy, the server Kim said that she's had plenty of people come to her bar and ask for tastings only to just walk away - it was as if she was assuming we were taking advantage of her. Used to be the go to place. Loved it. The events are insanely crowded. I don't know what happened since before the lockdown but now they seem to have a problem with kids from Fridays to Sundays. Is it the dog, were kids being mean to him? Management, you make the call as you see fit, but there are many other wineries in the area. Thank you for making me try them. Came here for the wine tour, and it was super fun! Our tour guide was Kelsey, she was so sweet and knowledgeable. Even with a large party in our tour group, she made us feel tended too. The tour is pretty laid back, I was expecting to walk a lot but we were in the shade and standing most of the time! All the wines we tasted were delicious. I've never been to an event that can compare to the utter disarray, disappointment, disorganization, and probably lots of additional dis words I can't think of at the moment. Enough parking? Nope. Oversold event? Yep! Enough staff? Nope. Downright rude staff that were parent-shaming on a live microphone in front of kids old enough to understand what was happening? Yep! Clear signage for where to go for what event? Nope. Clear signage for where to stand in line for each event? Nope. Enough eggs for the children's egg hunt? Nope. Uneven walking paths? Yep! (saw a kid step into a hole and fall... had it been an adult, it was a prime ankle-breaking spot) I could go on... but holy cow do I need to? Ya'll really screwed up on this one and I know a handful of people already asking for refunds and/or disputing with credit cards since they literally didn't get to participate. read more

My husband and I decided to do a little wine tour in Temecula valley. We only went to the 4.5 star rated places and I have to say, Peltzer was the absolute best!! Yes, some have better views, a better facility and maybe the in house dining... but the wine here was hands down the absolute best. The Meritage and the Rosé were amazing.. and most others that we tried we great quality and high standard .. we compared the best of the best in this region and I have to say, they are winning the awards here for a reason!! Peltzer might now be my favorite winery in Temecula. We checked out a flight that featured 3 whites and 3 reds. Their wine makers have done an outstanding job with their stuff. I'm typically a red wine guy, but I was very impressed with their whites as each was creative and enjoyable to the point that I was ready to take home a bottle of each. The wine pourer was super nice and gave us a ton of info about each of our pours. All this plus a beautiful wide open barn, and great local beers on tap as well, I'm definitely a fan. We decided to check out this new winery yesterday, and I really liked it! Their land is gorgeous, their huge barn tasting room is beautiful, there are lots of cool little shaded areas to sit and hang out, and the staff was super nice. We split a tasting, which is paired with delicious bread from Great Harvest Bread Company, a local bread maker a couple miles down the road. We enjoyed all of the wines, with my favorites being their Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah Rose, and Rustik Red Blend. Even my husband liked everything, and that is saying a lot! I was going to buy those three, so our server suggested their wine club, since you get three bottles in a shipment anyway. I looked it over and decided to join. I recently dropped another winery in the area, so I figured this would be a good place to check out. Added bonus, when you join, you get a free loaf of fresh bread! They had a bunch on a shelf and my husband chose the Asiago Pesto, which we both loved when we tried it with the wine. After joining she did let me know there were four other reserve wines I could choose to buy instead of my previous selections. The problem is, you can't taste them, and I don't want to blindly buy wine. They did happen to have open a bottle of their Zin, which was one of the reserves. I tried it, did not like it at all. But, I am happy with the wines I purchased. It would be nice for members to be able to try all the wines that are available. Not the end of the world though! I am looking forward to spending more time here and bringing friends to this awesome new winery! read more
