Let me start by saying I am rating this a 2 for price ONLY!…read moreThe work & the service eventually turned out fine. I will say I do appreciate Lonnie & Adam for taking the time talk with me on my issue in a timely manner. With that being said, On May 9th I made a call to Anderson asking for someone to come out & take alook at a leak coming from under my sink. I called a few times during this waiting period to see when someone was coming out .Finally on May 23rd I got to speak with Todd who tried booking me for the following Wednesday . I let him know it had already been 2 weeks that I had been waiting & asked what am I supposed do about all this water. Lonnie called me back right away & had people out within 30 min. He sent to guys out, because 110$ service call on the 9th , said it required 2 guys to remove the bathroom cabinet ( which they didn't have to do, he just cut a whole underneath my cabinet to reach the pipes) Adam did the work & his apprentice (2nd guy) kept getting stuff for Adam when he needed it. Charging me 385$( 3.5 hrs. Labor) for 2 plumbers Time out 1:45pm till 3:30 pm ( left my house 3:05pm)confirmed by text messaging . My house is only 3 min away from there shop according to Google maps. It was explained to me that the 2nd guy need to hold the one pipe as it would have taken longer to do the work. They would reduce the labor to an apprentice wage, which they didn'tcharge me for originally, almost 75$ less. My point is that I should have just been charged for 1 plumber @ 1.75 hours . It seems little shady!

Prompt service and exactly what was quoted with no surprises. Will definitely be using again!!read more

And if you start calling trades alphabetically, the answer to emergent services is like...we can get you in next week! Not so with C & C HVAC. They have been at my door within a few hours, are quick to diagnose and fix the problem before they leave. Cost wise is no complaint either. I feel their pricing is very fair and affordable. They have a contact card in my phone - and they'll be my first call.

Respectfully, and without malice, and, hopefully abiding by Yelp rules, with no disinformation or…read moremisinformation, only good old i n f o r m a t i o n and a few thoughts for the reader --- Let's suppose that you called a plumbing company for an estimate for work you needed done. An estimate is not labor, but rather an approximate or tentative judgment about what conditions a worker will encounter and, additionally for parts that may be needed...in other words, an assessment for a potential job, no labor, work or exertion at this juncture. An employee of a company (let's say plumbing) arrives, to provide an estimate, per your request. Said employee jots down some notes -- no labor involved. Said employee then proceeds to get on a stepladder to take a quick peekaboo at an attic (the said person didn't actually go IN the attic, still assessing, and no labor or work. After a few minutes, said person immediately heads out to his truck, only to return with a hefty bill of $195 for w h a t?? you might ask. When will I get the estimate? It could be a very BIG surprise for the unsuspecting customer, but let's face it, it sure seems like working at some places can be quite lucrative because they don't actually provide an estimate--just a bill for the drive to your home. A great gig if one can get away with it. Of course, the employee does not do one bit of actual work, nor is he expected to work. You merely made a call to the company requesting an estimate so you know what the job and the cost will entail if you should choose to hire them. You're out $195 with no estimate. It's a 100% win for this company. Too bad for you, silly customer. An innocent person might suspect that this is kind of a shady practice (oops, saying shady - --that wasn't nice ---sorry). To N O T notify people to expect a $195 fee at the time of the initial call for Nothing-- one might wonder who does that? They should at least notify you that they plan on doing nothing when they arrive & hand you a bill for nothing. Does that seem wrong to you? Just asking. Let's face it, businesses are free to charge as much as they can possibly grab from unsuspecting people. Right??! Yep, and most people have a tendency to expect ... oh, who knows, maybe, professionalism, integrity, credibility & trustworthiness. Hmm, wondering if this applies to, let's say possibly, any given plumbing business that might come to mind??? Any thoughts?? Respectfully P.S. You may be interested to know that professional, credible plumbers are out there and the best part is they don't charge for estimates. I know, I found several!!

This was a significant savings and solved the problem. It was refreshing to receive forthright and honest repair services without attempts to mark up prices or add extensive repairs. It was my first time using GsR based upon a recommendation from a friend. I now have a trusted and reliable plumber I can rely upon. Thanks Chuck!
