They had a plumber onsite shortly who not only fixed the problem, but was able to suggest some small changes needed to bring things up to code. Everybody I spoke with worked very hard to treat customers in a cordial and professional way, and, they did everything they said they would do in a timely manner and for reasonable price. So, all in all, it seems clear that these people take customer service seriously, and that showed throughout the whole experience, from our initial call through the end of the repair. Dad's a tough customer since he used to do all that stuff himself. They were great - patient, professional, efficient and got it all done quite quickly. Even dad thought they did a good job and he would hire them again. Special thanks for hauling the very heavy water softener and salt from the softener up the stairs to the garage for disposal. Dad's also hates to pay for stuff he used to do himself, but the cost was reasonable - even to dad. Planning on having them back soon to fix other stuff that dad has put off.

I texted, I called (never went to voicemail except one time days later, every other time it appears someone answered the phone while on mute so I'd just hang up). It wasn't until my husband started calling that he finally got an answer and was told they'd be here at noon. That time again came and went, but they did finally show up at 1pm. The two guys that came out resolved the issue, but said their "card reader was down and could only accept cash". Since this repair is going through my home warranty, I need the invoice for reimbursement and have been told since Monday that Bob (the owner) would send it. Monday night he said, nothing. Tuesday night he said, nothing. Wednesday morning he said he was working on it "right now", nothing. Wednesday evening he said he was working on it "right now", you guessed it - nothing. At this point I don't think it's ever going to happen, likely because this isn't a real company. They're not BBB accredited, cannot communicate over several days, and overall has been a nightmare to work with. I'm kicking myself for cancelling with another plumber that quoted me the same price, so don't be like me - call this guy instead (2247046220) Drainmaster Sewer & Plumbing LLC! Same price, way more professional, and has the reviews to back it up. Additionally, it really rubbed me the wrong way that he would not answer me but would respond when my husband contacted him (on several occasions). Despite me being the one to schedule and pay, it seems Bob does not want to work with women. Run, don't walk, away from this poor excuse of a "business". They had some install issues with the second faucet and stayed until it was completely done and functioning well, past 8pm on a Friday. The price was a touch higher than what I expected BUT I did not ask for an estimate and they did have to do some extra work they didn't anticipate, so I was happy to pay. After hearing nothing into the early afternoon on Monday, I called the office. The reception person said she would have a tech call me. She wanted to push me off til the next day; I declined (this was why I called ahead!) She said, "I already waived the $100 emergency fee"...what emergency? It's not like my place was flooding, and when I called I didn't say, "I need a plumber in an hour" or something. It's apparently because "they wouldn't be in the area." I finally had her cancel the appointment. The new parent company is A&P Grease Trapping, and the Blue Whale number is now answered "A&P," which was confusing until I looked it up. But I do not recommend this plumber any longer; the scheduling and customer care needs a lot of work with this new arrangement.
