I scheduled an appointment for 8am on Monday, by 10am I was panicking because we had a main line sewer clog and had not received any communication. I texted, I called (never went to voicemail except one time days later, every other time it appears someone answered the phone while on mute so I'd just hang up). It wasn't until my husband started calling that he finally got an answer and was told they'd be here at noon. That time again came and went, but they did finally show up at 1pm. The two guys that came out resolved the issue, but said their "card reader was down and could only accept cash". Since this repair is going through my home warranty, I need the invoice for reimbursement and have been told since Monday that Bob (the owner) would send it. Monday night he said, nothing. Tuesday night he said, nothing. Wednesday morning he said he was working on it "right now", nothing. Wednesday evening he said he was working on it "right now", you guessed it - nothing. At this point I don't think it's ever going to happen, likely because this isn't a real company. They're not BBB accredited, cannot communicate over several days, and overall has been a nightmare to work with. I'm kicking myself for cancelling with another plumber that quoted me the same price, so don't be like me - call this guy instead (2247046220) Drainmaster Sewer & Plumbing LLC! Same price, way more professional, and has the reviews to back it up. Additionally, it really rubbed me the wrong way that he would not answer me but would respond when my husband contacted him (on several occasions). Despite me being the one to schedule and pay, it seems Bob does not want to work with women. Run, don't walk, away from this poor excuse of a "business". Bob has no idea how to run a reputable company.

They had some install issues with the second faucet and stayed until it was completely done and functioning well, past 8pm on a Friday. The price was a touch higher than what I expected BUT I did not ask for an estimate and they did have to do some extra work they didn't anticipate, so I was happy to pay. Connected with him quickly and arranged a time to come out - he gave me the cost before hand and it was very very reasonable. He showed up on time and explained everything as he worked. It took maybe an hour - he rodded the main out twice and we checked it. It worked great and it is still working great after more than two months. He doesn't try to sell you a bunch of chemicals, gives good advice on how to keep your system free from clogs,and sticks to his quoted price. I highly recommend Gottfried Sewer Rodding in every way!

An estimate is not labor, but rather an approximate or tentative judgment about what conditions a worker will encounter and, additionally for parts that may be needed...in other words, an assessment for a potential job, no labor, work or exertion at this juncture. An employee of a company (let's say plumbing) arrives, to provide an estimate, per your request. Said employee jots down some notes -- no labor involved. Said employee then proceeds to get on a stepladder to take a quick peekaboo at an attic (the said person didn't actually go IN the attic, still assessing, and no labor or work. After a few minutes, said person immediately heads out to his truck, only to return with a hefty bill of $195 for w h a t?? you might ask. When will I get the estimate? It could be a very BIG surprise for the unsuspecting customer, but let's face it, it sure seems like working at some places can be quite lucrative because they don't actually provide an estimate--just a bill for the drive to your home. A great gig if one can get away with it. Of course, the employee does not do one bit of actual work, nor is he expected to work. You merely made a call to the company requesting an estimate so you know what the job and the cost will entail if you should choose to hire them. You're out $195 with no estimate. It's a 100% win for this company. Too bad for you, silly customer. An innocent person might suspect that this is kind of a shady practice (oops, saying shady - --that wasn't nice ---sorry). To N O T notify people to expect a $195 fee at the time of the initial call for Nothing-- one might wonder who does that? They should at least notify you that they plan on doing nothing when they arrive & hand you a bill for nothing. Does that seem wrong to you? Just asking. Let's face it, businesses are free to charge as much as they can possibly grab from unsuspecting people. Right??!
