One of my favorite bookstores!!!…read more I love to shop here and browse books! I come here about every week and love to grab a coffee, pastry, and a book! The customer service is phenomenal! The cashier, a gentleman with sandy red hair, gave the customer ahead of me excellent service. He was friendly, talkative, asked if the customer had a Rewards membership, took the time to explain the program, handed him his bag, and waited until he walked away before calling me to the register. When it was my turn, there was no greeting or conversation. I placed my book on the counter, and he simply rang it up and said my total. Only as I was paying did he quickly ask if I had a Rewards card, almost as an afterthought. Before he had even put my receipt in the bag, he was already calling the next customer over. I had a question, but he rushed through his response so quickly that it felt like he couldn't wait to move on. The difference in how I was treated compared to the customer before me was very noticeable. I left feeling like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I've always enjoyed shopping at this location, which is why this interaction was so disappointing. I hope management reminds staff that every customer deserves the same level of courtesy and attention.

They also sell beautifully made gifts for those who maybe looking for a birthday gift for someone they don't know very well. When I came in I was greeted by a very nice woman who said hello and bowed to me. The store itself is pretty decent size and extremely organized. Although I didn't make a purchase this time I wouldn't mind coming in again next time I'm in the area. 1334th review 4/27/2018 254th for 2018

They do take in used books, which my partner has been able to capitalize on for a rare manga he's trying to collect all the volumes for. They're section for social sciences though SUCK. I'd say Barnes and Noble and Bookshop.org still come out on top. It feels they barely have a section for history and science even. Plenty of space for Christians though... new age books and items are up front in this side obscure area near the cafe like they are trying to hide it. Plenty of toys and novelty items and games to look at. Funko pops (which I look at). It feels like FYE fused with what was left of a bookstore and just was like "we must do this to survive" energy. Never my first choice, but glad to have a choice... in the mall at least. Also they have vinyls and you can order books from them, but I'd suggest just going to Bookshop.org at that point

This is quite the hidden gem of a bookstore in Atlanta! This place feels very cozy and calming. There are countless books throughout the entire store sorted by genres. They even have a downstairs area filled with additional books as well as periodicals and magazines. The store almost transports you back in time, because there are sooooo many older and vintage copies of books. They even have some signed books for sale too! I saw a Dr. Seuss booked that was signed by the man himself...pretty cool if I do say so myself! The signed copies vary, but definitely take a look when you're there! It would make a super cool gift for someone. Another cool thing, is that they have 2 store cats! You will most likely find them by the front desk with the employees. One was napping when I came and the other was sitting right by the desk. The books all vary in price. It kinda just depends on what you get. I'll definitely be back in the future to take a further look!

The amount of books in this store was unbelievable, and the variety was great. They have some bookmarks and trinkets for sale as well. At the back of the store was two little boys reading books. This store is really worth the visit. I had the pleasure of talking to Stasey, the owner, she was super nice while answering my questions about what books I could sell or trade. You can negotiate the price but so far when they've thrown a price at me I was happy to pay what they asked. They sell comic books, games, puzzles, DVDs and more. The shop is off Allatoona Gateway (used to be Glade Road) - behind Taco Bell, Pizza Hut & KFC. Plenty of parking - the shopping center is not usually busy. The owners are friendly, fun and helpful.
