    Eggs -
    Brilynn C.

We pulled up and noticed the signs telling us to wait - outside. That was an awkward first impression. Upon entering with a server I thought how cute. Quaint spot with limited seating and a lot to look at, except the health score. The menu has some eclectic menu options and pairings. We found it difficult to find our breakfast favorites. We opted for the $17 french toast with 2 eggs and a protein. The eggs were topped with micro greens! The syrup was blueberry, and chunky. The bacon was greasy and floppy. The coffee was subpar. The service was friendly but there is only so much 2 servers can do to run the whole dining room. Overall, the menu is busy, expensive and the food is not memorable.

The food was great. Loved the presentation of the food. The menue was very wordy. Wish there were pics of the food. The mimosas were not that good in my opinion. Would come back for the food though

Found this gem while visiting the area and yummm they're a brunch delight!! If you like Benedicts... this is your place as they have multiple fun varieties to choose from. I liked that each dish was unique. I enjoyed the Driving Me Bananas French toast dish and a Potato Hash Cake side... with the mimosa flight. We also had the Kickin Benedict... a spicy treat. I never would've thought to make French toast with banana bread... but boy did they get it right! The portion was generous and everyone loved their food. Mimosa flights rotate flavors, so we had... Blueberry, Kiwi Pineapple, Carrot, and Cotton Candy Grape. Favorite was probably kiwi pineapple. I wasn't too sure about the carrot but it worked really well as a mimosa. I definitely recommend both dishes and the flight... although I'm sure you'd be happy with anything on this menu!

The service was top notch, shout out to Katie! Katie was able to show me the old cool and unique menu made to theme of Pokemon cards. As well as a great explanation of the presentation of the meal ! The food was a fun experience and blast to eat! Very taste and fresh. Definitely would recommend!

Stopped in for breakfast since the venue had good reviews. We were greeted right away and served promptly. The staff were very friendly and professional. We got there early but it filled up quick. Seems like a great local place with repeat customers. I got the eternal sunshine Benedict on croissant. Eggs seemed a little more running than what I am used to for a poached eggs. The hash brown was super crunchy and very good. I may be partial to a more traditional Benedict but it was good. My boyfriend had burning down the hive. He said lots of good flavors and very good. The presentation for both plates was done very nicely. I would definitely try this place again.

Absolutely outstanding! We were stuck at the front door taking in the reader board. Our server Maggie popped her head out and invited us in. She ushered us to our table and immediately brought waters. Nice welcome, great smile. The menu, The Menu, THE MENU! Wow. 20 years as a chef and almost 40 years in the business, I would drive the 3 hours from Greensboro for this experience. The page handed to us was a laminated play on trading cards. Each item better than the last. I finally ended on the "Bourbon Myth and Berry Tails". Probably the best pork belly I've ever had, the smoked Gouda frittatas were flavorful and delicious. The croissant French toast was excellent. The decor was exactly fit for the name. Mural painted on the wall with cherry blossoms over our head, neon that toted Friends with Benedict's. I would love to meet the mastermind behind this place. We stopped because of the excellent Yelp reviews and will be back for the amazing food and outstanding service. Thank you!

SO SO GOOD!! Gluten free breakfast options aren't plentiful in this area, so I took a chance on this location pretty much solely based on having gluten free French toast on the menu - a rare find! I sat outside, and there's a cozy indoor area too. The French toast and especially the homemade blueberry syrup was incredible, and the bacon and eggs that came with it were also delicious. Small touches like adding cheese to eggs or adding a garnish were fun to see. My one request would be to have more iced coffee options aside from plain coffee but I made it work! Tip: take the time to read through their menu, it's so cute!

The food here is always fantastic, and the vibe is great. My only complaint is the COFFEE. With a carefully crafted menu that puts so much care into every tiny frittata, why is the coffee so acidic? But the food is literal perfection, and I've loved the service here as well. If the coffee was good, I'd be here at least once a week.

Quick service, very efficient and easy waitlist experience. The food was simple but pretty yummy, and I liked that the menu was small but varied. The truffle grits were nice and the a la carte menu gave a lot of flexibility. The indoor seating was fairly aesthetic and casual. Nothing insane on any level but convenient and pleasant- would recommend!

Eternal Sunshine has a fun and bright interior with a decent amount of seating. We were lucky to be seated immediately during a busy Saturday brunch service. Their new Pokemon card-themed menu was a bit hard to navigate, but our server was friendly and happy to provide recommendations. We ordered the Southern Belle Benedict and Eternal Benedict. The chicken on the Southern Belle Benedict had a nice crisp to it, though the gravy wasn't as flavorful as we would've liked. The Eternal Benedict was just ok -- a bunch of average ingredients combined together that wasn't all too memorable. Overall, Eternal Sunshine Cafe is a popular brunch spot, but we weren't entirely impressed with our food.

So first and foremost the food is great. Very creative and fairly upscale for breakfast. They have changed their menu a lot in the recent year or so. It used to be more of a greasy spoon breakfast diner type of feel. Food has always been great. They don't do many customizations so if that's your thing I would look elsewhere for breakfast. Would definitely come back just not on the regular due to higher pricing for breakfast. Service was also prompt and everyone we encountered was nice.

We stopped here for Brunch on Saturday. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The place wasn't too crowded so we decided to sit inside. Hubby specifically wanted to eat here for the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes. He ended up getting the special: 2 pancakes with 2 eggs (any style) and a choice of Protein. Overall he thought they were delicious but he was expecting dessert level sweetness. He actually added a bunch of syrup. (4/5) I went without a clue of what I wanted and saw their slideshow on their TV and decided to try the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuits. This also came with two eggs (any style) and choice of side. This dish was okay and gave hot and honey. The chicken lacked flavor. It's not a traditional biscuit and gave chicken on French toast. I didn't like that the breading was basically falling off the chicken breast. I'd give it a 3.5/5. Our sides came out about 10 minutes after our entrees but the servers were very apologetic.

When we've come with friends or larger groups, the service has been much more mediocre. The first time we visited, one of the waitresses was surprisingly rude when I asked about vegetarian options. All she said was "salad," despite there being multiple salads (2 out of the 3) on the menu, including a Caesar with anchovy and a wedge salad with bacon. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and was much more helpful and respectful. I'm not sure why vegetarian requests are sometimes treated like an inconvenience or unusual concept. I'm married to a huge meat eater and enjoy going to places he likes, but I do wish vegetarian guests were met with a little more patience and understanding. Especially when I am the one paying the bill. The atmosphere is loud and busy, but they are generally accommodating. For larger parties, they require a credit card to hold the reservation and give a limited grace period, with a fee of around $15 per person for no-shows. I understand why restaurants have policies like this, but it felt a little unfair considering we still had to wait around 15-20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. If guests are expected to strictly follow time slots, I think the restaurant should also try to hold themselves to those same standards. It also took close to two hours for our food to come out, and we repeatedly had to ask for smaller things like water or hot sauce. I completely understand that larger parties can take longer, but we were a group of seven, which didn't seem unusually large. Overall, the food and atmosphere keep us coming back, but the consistency in service could definitely be improved.

First off, by the time we arrived around 10am, they only had a few donuts left. Honestly, I wouldn't necessarily count that against them because it may just be a sign that the donuts are really popular. They were completely sold out by 10:30, though, so definitely come early if donuts are your priority. We were lucky enough to grab a strawberry donut and a half dozen munchies, and the donuts themselves were GREAT! I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on an Asiago bagel. The flavors were good, but the bagel was a little too crunchy which made it difficult to eat. If I went again, I'd probably either get the Asiago bagel with cream cheese or stick to a plain bagel for the sandwich. My daughter ordered the bacon, lettuce, and pimento cheese biscuit, but they were out of biscuits so she switched to a bagel instead. Unfortunately, they forgot the bacon entirely, which was pretty disappointing since that's a major part of the sandwich. My other daughter ordered the Baja breakfast burrito with salsa on the side, but the salsa was put directly on the burrito. To their credit, they did offer to remake it, but we had already been waiting about 20 minutes so we decided to just keep it. Oddly, we still had to wait another 7 minutes after that for our food. Overall, the donuts were excellent, but between the long wait, several order issues, and limited availability, it just wasn't a place I'd personally go back to.
