The food was great. Loved the presentation of the food. The menue was very wordy. Wish there were pics of the food. The mimosas were not that good in my opinion. Would come back for the food though

We pulled up and noticed the signs telling us to wait - outside. That was an awkward first impression. Upon entering with a server I thought how cute. Quaint spot with limited seating and a lot to look at, except the health score. The menu has some eclectic menu options and pairings. We found it difficult to find our breakfast favorites. We opted for the $17 french toast with 2 eggs and a protein. The eggs were topped with micro greens! The syrup was blueberry, and chunky. The bacon was greasy and floppy. The coffee was subpar. The service was friendly but there is only so much 2 servers can do to run the whole dining room. Overall, the menu is busy, expensive and the food is not memorable.

Found this gem while visiting the area and yummm they're a brunch delight!! If you like Benedicts... this is your place as they have multiple fun varieties to choose from. I liked that each dish was unique. I enjoyed the Driving Me Bananas French toast dish and a Potato Hash Cake side... with the mimosa flight. We also had the Kickin Benedict... a spicy treat. I never would've thought to make French toast with banana bread... but boy did they get it right! The portion was generous and everyone loved their food. Mimosa flights rotate flavors, so we had... Blueberry, Kiwi Pineapple, Carrot, and Cotton Candy Grape. Favorite was probably kiwi pineapple. I wasn't too sure about the carrot but it worked really well as a mimosa. I definitely recommend both dishes and the flight... although I'm sure you'd be happy with anything on this menu!

The service was top notch, shout out to Katie! Katie was able to show me the old cool and unique menu made to theme of Pokemon cards. As well as a great explanation of the presentation of the meal ! The food was a fun experience and blast to eat! Very taste and fresh. Definitely would recommend!

Stopped in for breakfast since the venue had good reviews. We were greeted right away and served promptly. The staff were very friendly and professional. We got there early but it filled up quick. Seems like a great local place with repeat customers. I got the eternal sunshine Benedict on croissant. Eggs seemed a little more running than what I am used to for a poached eggs. The hash brown was super crunchy and very good. I may be partial to a more traditional Benedict but it was good. My boyfriend had burning down the hive. He said lots of good flavors and very good. The presentation for both plates was done very nicely. I would definitely try this place again.

Absolutely outstanding! We were stuck at the front door taking in the reader board. Our server Maggie popped her head out and invited us in. She ushered us to our table and immediately brought waters. Nice welcome, great smile. The menu, The Menu, THE MENU! Wow. 20 years as a chef and almost 40 years in the business, I would drive the 3 hours from Greensboro for this experience. The page handed to us was a laminated play on trading cards. Each item better than the last. I finally ended on the "Bourbon Myth and Berry Tails". Probably the best pork belly I've ever had, the smoked Gouda frittatas were flavorful and delicious. The croissant French toast was excellent. The decor was exactly fit for the name. Mural painted on the wall with cherry blossoms over our head, neon that toted Friends with Benedict's. I would love to meet the mastermind behind this place. We stopped because of the excellent Yelp reviews and will be back for the amazing food and outstanding service. Thank you!

SO SO GOOD!! Gluten free breakfast options aren't plentiful in this area, so I took a chance on this location pretty much solely based on having gluten free French toast on the menu - a rare find! I sat outside, and there's a cozy indoor area too. The French toast and especially the homemade blueberry syrup was incredible, and the bacon and eggs that came with it were also delicious. Small touches like adding cheese to eggs or adding a garnish were fun to see. My one request would be to have more iced coffee options aside from plain coffee but I made it work! Tip: take the time to read through their menu, it's so cute!

The food here is always fantastic, and the vibe is great. My only complaint is the COFFEE. With a carefully crafted menu that puts so much care into every tiny frittata, why is the coffee so acidic? But the food is literal perfection, and I've loved the service here as well. If the coffee was good, I'd be here at least once a week.

Quick service, very efficient and easy waitlist experience. The food was simple but pretty yummy, and I liked that the menu was small but varied. The truffle grits were nice and the a la carte menu gave a lot of flexibility. The indoor seating was fairly aesthetic and casual. Nothing insane on any level but convenient and pleasant- would recommend!

Eternal Sunshine has a fun and bright interior with a decent amount of seating. We were lucky to be seated immediately during a busy Saturday brunch service. Their new Pokemon card-themed menu was a bit hard to navigate, but our server was friendly and happy to provide recommendations. We ordered the Southern Belle Benedict and Eternal Benedict. The chicken on the Southern Belle Benedict had a nice crisp to it, though the gravy wasn't as flavorful as we would've liked. The Eternal Benedict was just ok -- a bunch of average ingredients combined together that wasn't all too memorable. Overall, Eternal Sunshine Cafe is a popular brunch spot, but we weren't entirely impressed with our food.

So first and foremost the food is great. Very creative and fairly upscale for breakfast. They have changed their menu a lot in the recent year or so. It used to be more of a greasy spoon breakfast diner type of feel. Food has always been great. They don't do many customizations so if that's your thing I would look elsewhere for breakfast. Would definitely come back just not on the regular due to higher pricing for breakfast. Service was also prompt and everyone we encountered was nice.

We have been eating at Eternal Sunshine Cafe for several years. We visit Wrightsville Beach at least yearly. We always breakfast here at least once every trip. The service is great and the food is always delicious. The menu has changed and is a bit hard to read for the bifocal crowd (it's busier and print is small). The food is still wonderful with both traditional and some fancier options. A couple of the newer dishes are almost too beautiful to eat, the presentation is amazing! The best of both worlds. Still my favorite place to breakfast in Wrightsville Beach.

Maven takes a different approach to coffee, skipping the standard heavy syrup you find in most places and instead focusing on carefully crafted pieces of art. I would describe their style as a hybrid between the craftsmanship of fine dining, the flavor blending of craft cocktails, all wrapped up in an artistic display. The people working here are skilled and very friendly and happy to explain their menu My wife had the campfire latte, which was a gentle s'mores flavor with freshly crumbled graham cracker topping in a marshmallow they toasted right in front of you as a top. Most importantly, it was very coffee forward on flavor with very minimal but appropriate use of sweetening flavors. I had the chocolate cherry truffle latte, which was again very coffee forward with very subtle and perfectly balanced flavors. Most interestingly, the drinks were a very fair price, because with this level of artistry in presentation you'd expect it to be expensive. This was a great little stop on vacation, and if I was local I would come more often. They are definitely stepping out of the mold of the traditional mainstream coffee shop, And doing a great job.

Ordered a 16oz pour over coffee ($3.50) which we were supposed to get from a carafe at the self-serve coffee station, but it was not working so the owner or fresh coffee in our to-go cup for us. There was an upcharge of $.85 for half-and-half on our receipt, which is silly, since there barely was any room in the cup to add that ourselves. Tried a variety of pastries, including all of the danishes (maple pecan, cherry, apple butter brie), apple cider cruffin, hot chocolate brownie, and salted brown butter chocolate chip cookie. Prices are a little on the higher side. Everything was great overall. It would've been better if the croissant had crispy edges. The maple pecan danish was just baked so it was warm and crispy with melted maple syrup. Also got sourdough bread ($10) and baguettes ($7). Baguettes are on the smaller side. This would be a cute spot to relax over coffee and a sweet pastry, so I would come back.

There is no indoor seating, indoors is just for ordering and is very tiny and cramped, with excessively loud dance music playing for the club vibe. Not what I want from a coffee place tbh, but everything looks nice. It's dinosaur themed by the way. Again, line is out the door and we waited probably 20min before we could order. Outdoor patio is very beautiful though, I'll give them that. It's multi level, very green, lots of small pretty tables, and has a wooden deck. Most of the area is shaded or partially shaded. I ordered one of the signature cold brews and I liked it, cold brew is very soft/mild and enjoyable, and the cold foam wasn't too sweet and overpowering which I like. We did come here on a hot sunny 95F day, and honestly as much as we liked the outdoor "oasis" seating area, it was very hot. I probably wouldn't recommend coming here on a scorching hot day. You'll wait outside in line forever and you'll have to sip on your drink - you guessed it - outside. Share helps but not much. On a nice 70F day I can see myself spending here a couple hours easily though!

Coffee beans are organic, from Larry's in Raleigh, a mixture of Guatemalan, Bolivia, Mexico flavors. Nondairy milk options are Oat, almond, and soy milk. We tried a caramel latte, drip coffee, and aeromatic latte with peach. Everything was great. There was one dollar extra charge for milk to add to the drip coffee. The aeromatic latte takes a few minutes to make so beware that. Not exactly sure the process of making aeromatic latte. The barista only spoke Spanish and our waiter translated. There were other fruit flavors listed on the menu for the aeromatic latte but at that time they only had peach or pear. The fruit is cooked with the coffee itself and infused with cinnamon flavor. There is no sugar or syrup added. I chose the peach and it was a subtle flavor in the latte. The barista was apologetic, because he thought he made it too sweet, which it was, but not sickeningly so. After all, it's just sweetness from fruit. Started out with complementary biscuits with some scallions, served with butter and homemade apple butter. Biscuits were okay. Apple butter was delicious , cinnamon flavor with some chunks of apple. Menu is basically American, but they had a special huevos rancheros. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my partner ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes with a side order of bacon. The food was good, very filling so we couldn't finish everything. Huevos rancheros came with runny fried eggs, black beans, choice of bacon or sausage or something else, home fries, crunchy tortilla strips, guacamole, side of homemade looking spicy salsa, fresh tomatoes, cilantro, and a remoulade like sauce. Spicy salsa was great. The lemon blueberry pancakes (2 large pancakes) automatically come with home fries or fruit. High chair available. There is an additional cost if you use credit card versus cash. For our bill, it was around two dollars extra for using credit card. Our waiter was fabulous. Really enjoyed the customer service. You can tell they care about what they do. The barista even gave us a latte to-go on the house when we really didn't need it or want it. I think he still felt bad about making the aeromatic latte sweet.
