    French toast

One of my favorite old-fashioned diners in town, no frills breakfast comfort food. What would make it even better would be having real maple syrup and hashbrowns. At a recent visit, got there around 8:30 AM on a Saturday and there were still plenty of seats open. Usually like to get the lumberjack breakfast, which is pricey, but worth two meals. There are options within the lumberjack breakfast. Most recently, I chose eggs, scrambled with cheddar cheese, potatoes, bacon, and pancakes. My partner got French toast (3 slices) and the sausage patty. Eggs were fluffy and was presented like an omelette. Pancakes are humongous and soft. My toddler enjoyed them very much. Sausage patty looked homemade and was very good. French toast were good.

    Chicken and waffles

This place has just about anything on the menu you crave for breakfast! This time around I got chicken and waffles. Not my usual go to, but I haven't had it in so long I figured I'd try it. Definitely not disappoint in my pick. Chicken tenders were huge and fulfilling! Waffle was crispy just like I like it. The children split pancakes and my husband got biscuits and gravy. Everything was perfectly served and large portions for sure! Wait staff was very welcoming and friendly! Alway try to make a stop here when we're in the area!

Great food great service lot of locals eat here. They always seem very busy. The ambience is like a diner, but bigger.

The Chicken & Waffles were the standout. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the sweet syrup and smoky bacon. A great balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Spinach & Swiss omelette was light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The spinach and melted Swiss worked well together, and the home fries were nicely seasoned with peppers and onions. The English muffin was a simple but welcome addition. The bird & Brie sandwich was another winner. The brioche bun was soft and buttery, while the brie added a creamy richness that elevated the sandwich. The arugula brought a fresh peppery bite that kept everything balanced. Overall, the food was fresh, portions were generous, and everything was cooked well. The home fries were crispy and flavorful across all the plates. Definitely a solid breakfast/brunch spot that I'd visit again.

I worked at a diner for 5 years with fresh squeezed and this was fresh out of a box maybe. They don't have a lot of their menu on weekends which is unique, it's typically reversed. They should have a weekend only menu tho as it's frustrating to order things it says they have and they don't. A LOT of fried or super heavy options. I came bc it said fresh but I guess deep fried fresh food is still "fresh." Plates and majority of glasses are plastic. No matter how fresh or not the food is, you still need to eat microplastics. Sugar on the table is all plastic wrapped fake sugar it was impossible to find just REAL raw sugar. Feels like they hopped on a fresh health trend but have a hard time walking that walk.

Five Stars I stopped…read moreby Seaside Bagels after missing McDonald's breakfast, and I'm glad I did. This place reminded me why local businesses are often the better choice. The everything bagel with sausage and egg was outstanding. One thing that immediately stood out was that the seasoning actually covers the entire bagel--not just the top like you find at so many places. Looking around, it appears they do the same with their sesame, poppy, and other specialty bagels. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference in every bite. The restaurant was clean, bright, and welcoming. Their chalkboard menu is easy to read, there's an impressive variety of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cream cheese flavors, and even a full vegan menu. You can tell they take pride in what they offer. What impressed me even more than the food was the staff. Everyone I encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming. They noticed I was a military veteran and applied the veteran discount without me having to ask, which was a thoughtful gesture that I sincerely appreciated. Whether you're grabbing breakfast on the way to work or just looking for a great bagel, Seaside Bagels is well worth the stop. Excellent food, excellent service, and a staff that makes you feel appreciated. I'll definitely be back.
