No joke, this was the most pleasant, professional, pain free dental experience in every sense of the word. The front office is a well oiled machine and Dr Baird himself is a genius. Of my three wisdom teeth, I think two were pretty severely impacted and had to come out in bits and everything went more flawlessly than I could imagine. The recovery had virtually no pain which I didn't think was possible after surgery. I was prepared for torment and intense discomfort. Nope. Just some swelling, medication, soft foods, instructions on how to wash with a syringe after a week or so and I was set. I found Dr Baird's office through Yelp, so I just wanted to add my two thumbs up here to help out other Yelpers.

I'd give 5 stars to Dr Fross. There is no better dentist than Dr Scott Fross. I was terrified of…read moregetting my tooth pulled. He's kind, explains everything, goes at a good pace so you can't overthink it and has a great sense of humor. I'd go to him again for sure and I recommend him for everyone. The office experience I would give a 1 or 2 stars. Here are some tips: 1) When you schedule your appointment, ask for the estimated bill then, not when you show up for your appointment so that you know exactly what you need to pay beforehand. I was shocked and surprised by the steep out-of-pocket cost, but since you're there for your appointment you can't challenge or back out. If cost is an issue for you, I would recommend that you check with other dentists too because some of the codes that are used is not covered by insurance. 2) I would ask to see the codes that are being used for billing when you get your estimate. I saw afterwards that one was wrong. When it was corrected it meant that I had a $229 refund. Mistakes happen, challenge if you believe there was a mistake. 3) I had to chase for my refund multiple times. Not a great office experience tbh.

The tech they use here is pretty new with nice cameras to take picture of you and a 3D teeth scan tool. The person who helped with my X-rays and scans (Ashley?) had really great bedside manner with good commentary about what she was doing and what she wanted me to do next. Dr Yoo saw me afterwards and mapped a plan out after some examination. She seemed to know what she was doing but also would've been nice to have her ask if I had any questions. Her assistance Darlene did leave me her contact if I needed any assistance. It was clear to me what the expectations for cost was and the next steps. Overall a good experience and definitely a candidate for my ortho treatment.

Extremely disappointing experience with Palo Alto Orthodontics. While Dr. Yoo and staff are…read morepleasant, they did not deliver. In fact, several months and many thousand dollars later, they made my teeth worse rather than better. Please see the before and after pictures below. I came to Dr. Yoo with a smile shown in the first and second photos below. My teeth looked good but she thought we could further straighten and improve my smile for the long term. After straightening and even shaving my teeth, the results actually made my smile (much) worse. My teeth were pulled down and gaps were introduced. Even if in theory this is a "straighter bite" in reality this is a worse smile for thousands of dollars and a big waste of time. Plus, now food gets stuck in my teeth. When asked if she could fix the gap her only solutions was further shaving my teeth (permanent damage) or sending me to another expert to do yet another procedure. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Dr. Robert's office is one of those places where you almost forget you're going to the dentist,…read morealmost. Let's get the only downside out of the way: parking is, an experience. But if you go early (which I do), it's honestly a non issue and totally manageable. Now for everything that actually matters, this place is top tier. The staff is beyond amazing. Genuinely friendly, welcoming, and just easy to talk to. No weird dentist office energy, no feeling rushed or brushed off. They take the time to answer questions, explain things clearly, and make sure you're comfortable the entire time. The facility itself is pristine, clean, modern, and really well kept. You can tell they take pride in what they do. What I appreciate most is that they're honest and efficient. They don't try to upsell or push unnecessary work, which is rare. But at the same time, they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service and care. It's that perfect balance. They're also super on top of reminders and notifications, which makes staying consistent with appointments effortless. I'll absolutely keep going every 6 months, no question and I recommend them to pretty much everyone I know. 10/10 (minus one point for parking but we forgive them).

After a year of regular visits and spending $13,475 at Cardinal Dental, I was left with two botched…read moredental implants and a poorly done crown by Dr. Kalinowski, along with a failed apicoectomy performed by Dr. Roberts. Throughout that year, I endured constant pain and infections, which Dr. Kalinowski frequently dismissed as ENT problems, nerve issues, or systemic disorders--all of which were refuted by other doctors. Dr. Roberts misdiagnosed my condition as TMJ disorder and recommended Botulinum toxin injections, which would have incurred even more costs. Despite my severe pain and Dr. Kalinowski's refusal to address a loose implant cover screw, he just pushed the cover in, which caused severe pain because the soft tissue pinched between the implant cover and the implant. I eventually sought help from an ABOMS-certified surgeon. The new surgeon said that all of my problems were caused by the immediate implant, which he never performs due to the high risk of infection, as well as a loose cover screw and a poorly done apicoectomy. The new surgeon had to fix the loose implant cover screw and clean the dead tissue between the implant and cover screw, clean the other implant, extract the apicoectomized tooth, and general dentist had to replace the oversized crown that had improper anatomy. After these procedures, my issues have been resolved. While the staff initially appeared friendly, they quickly became unfriendly and defensive when I voiced my complaints. I requested a report along with the implant stickers, but I only received the implant stickers and not the report. When I requested a copy of my X-rays, I received an empty CD and had to call the next day to finally obtain my records via Google Drive. Additionally, some employees were noticeably noisy and loud, which was unsettling during surgeries. Overall, the office seems more focused on profit than on patient care.
