However, they promised if they run into issues and the project cannot be done my money will be refunded and the steering wheel returned. At the first attempt, the shop was unsuccessful with the job. The professional thing to do was to call me and let me know. Instead, when I called to inquire on the project completion, I was informed they run into issues with the traditional welding and decided to use JB welding. I did not pay them for JB welding job. The final job did not come out right with stability concerns with respect to the JB welding. Any honest professional person will own up, keep their word and refund me my money. However, not this thief. He wanted to keep my item and then refund me the money. The common sense option that I suggested was for him to take out the JB weld, give me my item as is and refund me the money. He claimed he cannot take out the JB weld and insisted on keeping my item if I wanted a refund. This unprofessional shop went ahead and faked my signature on the receipt when I refused to sign. I left with my steering and I will be lodging a complaint with the police for faking my signature on a receipt. Also, when he found out the steering wheel was from a BMW, he wanted to charge more money. Greedy shop.

AA Exteriors was also one of the only companies willing to find a solution creating a roof that seamlessly blended and fused into my existing build for a reasonable price. Nick and his crew definitely delivered, and they were out on the job site from start to finish. While the permitting process through Anne Arundel County took a while and was by far the most difficult part, Nick worked quickly and efficiently on everything he could control including the: planning/design, demo, foundation build, decking boards, roof construction, screening, and punch out work. Through each step of the process, Nick kept the work area clean and I never felt like my dogs were at risk of injury when letting them outside to go to the bathroom. During the job, Nick made some excellent recommendations including recessed lighting around the roof of the porch and using decking boards instead of lattice to close in the deck. He also handled some extra tasks like cleaning the gutters, power washing the siding, laying down mulch and grass seed, and planting shrubbery. Tomas the construction lead and his crew did excellent work. He listened to our concerns and made any changes we requested. The cost was much cheaper than replacing our old deck with a completely new deck. They extended our deck 4' and replaced wood decking and railing with Timber Tech French White Oak. They also replaced the wood rails with stainless steel cable. It looks great! We wanted it done by our daughter's baby shower and they completed it on time. They did a great job from start to finish. Since I'm not familiar with painting or wall repair, I asked my boyfriend--who has 25 years of construction experience--to speak with him about the scope and cost. My boyfriend, who is currently stationed overseas, was able to negotiate the price down to $1,800. Bill claimed that $600 of that was just for materials. Given that cost, I expected the walls to be properly prepped, primed with drywall primer, and imperfections repaired. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. While I appreciate that his team removed the old shelving, they left the hose mount on the wall and got paint on the door frame. They also failed to leave me the extra paint I had paid for, which I needed to address missed spots and repairs. I reached out to Bill via text three times. He initially said he would bring the extra paint but then stopped responding. I ultimately had to take a piece of damaged wall to Sherwin-Williams to get a color match and fix it myself. To make matters worse, when I expressed my concerns and asked him to speak with my boyfriend directly, he was dismissive and unprofessional. I've since had other painters look at the job, and they agreed I was overcharged for the quality of work delivered. Lesson learned: If you decide to hire this company, make sure you're either knowledgeable about painting or have someone experienced with you to avoid being taken advantage of--especially when it comes to labor and material costs.
