Great service- delivery right to our campsite and a few minutes earlier than projected. The eggplant parm sandwich was great. Fresh bread, lots of cheese, arrived nice and warm. The veal parm was a different story. Same good bread, good temp and plenty of cheese, but the meat was very tough. Even knife and fork eating was tough. We would recommend the restaurant, but skip the veal.

My first visit to Penn Pizza Palace was sub-par at best. The crust was flavorless, there wasn't much cheese or sauce and shaker basil was used for the Margherita pizza. BUT... I gave them another chance, and had a completely different experience. The second time around it seemed that they paid close attention to detail. I also ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, which I highly recommend. The service and product here are great. However, they need to make sure they are more consistent (see attached pictures). I would definitely recommend this place if you're local and want great service and good pizza.

What's not to like about this place? Excellent cheese steak, friendly staff, very clean inside and reasonably priced.

The crust is doughier than I prefer but otherwise it's your typical neighborhood pizza joint.

Another Instagram account I've been following for quite a while has been this mobile pizza truck. I've been in love with their content of the wood fired oven and the pizza's that they've been showing off. Follow their page to see where they will be on any particular day. Here, I caught them at Bonesaw Brewing Co. in Glassboro. First off, Brett and his team are a bunch of cool people with great personalities that genuinely love what they do and are having a lot of fun doing it! If there's ever a group of dudes you'd want to crack a beer with at the end of a hard day, these guys would be your crowd. Aside from that, they are putting out some amazing pies. I got a plain with half sausage and jalapeno as well as the grandma. If you think these are burnt, well, you may just be used to convection oven pizza. This char from the wood fire oven was perfect, just how I love a well-done pizza. The crust is thin, the ingredients are quality, and a beer to wash it all down was just the perfect compliment. Follow their page, see where they will be, try them out, and you will fall in love. They're worth the trip if you don't live close by.

La Sicilia is one of those special places and I arrived to eat dinner because they were helping someone I know. There was no research involved and I was surprised to discover how close I live to this primarily takeout pizzeria/restaurant with a smiling and welcoming staff. I really did not know how small the dining area is at La Sicilia but there was room for myself and my friend Joe to enjoy a dinner to help others. Joe went the Chicken Parm dinner route but I went for pizza and "wings" (Chicken wings for those not in the know.). I did ask the staff whether their wings were any good and I was assured that people like them. We watched pleasant interactions with customers coming in for takeout, including a few people I know who chose to come to La Sicilia. First the good ... Joe reported that he REALLY liked the chicken Parm. He liked it so much that he ordered a take out Chicken Parm to bring home for his wife. I spoke with some friends who like me only came to support the fundraiser. One told me, "I told the men in my family we are changing pizzerias because the pizza at La Sicilia's is soooo good!" Another thdnkef me (As if I had anything to do with creating the food.) for telling them about the event because they plan to start coming to La Sicilia's for their pizza. I ordered "The Don" specialty pizza probably because of the website photo but also it sounded really good. It was "fine" and I enjoyed it. I am picky about pizza but next time (And, there will be a next time.) I will try a different pizza. Now as for the WINGS. First they asked "Ranch or Blue Cheese" never ever Ranch!! A big plus when they arrived was noting that the wings were not breaded. They were crisp and juicy but the fried wings were not coated with sauce in the kitchen instead they were plopped in a puddle of Frank's sauce on my plate. I ate every last wing but ... A big thank you for caring about people in need and due to that there are new regulars at La Sicilia's!!

I thought it was time for an update since last writing my review four years ago!…read more Marino's may be favorite restaurant in the local area! Honestly, the worst thing about Marino's is that everything on and off the menu is too good, which is a great problem to have. I have tried so many different dishes at Marino's and I do not have anything bad to say about any of them. Whatever you order will be fresh and delicious. One thing that deserves highlighting, is that the "off the menu" section is always rotating with seasonal options. Marino's strives to incorporate seasonal and local produce into their meals, which just makes the restaurant even more special. When eating in, the counter workers are always friendly, efficient, and helpful. The place is usually pretty busy and it is impressive how all the workers work so well together to make it all happen. The inside of the restaurant is also pleasant to eat in, if you choose. There are a variety of table options, from high top, to low-tops, or booths. The high ceilings also make it feel spacious and welcoming. Then if you choose to eat at home, their take-out process is very efficient. If you order online and pay online, you can simply just grab your food by the door. I cannot say enough good things about Marino's! If you are in the area, it is a must try and return over and over again!

It's true. It's worth all the hype…read more Was a bit intimidated to try this place seeing how the reviews say you have to wait 30-40 minutes to get your food but hey! you only live once! oh i also tried calling for pick up but no one ever answered so maybe it's not true. what's the ambience like? hectic! So here's how it works. it's a fast paced doorway where you stand on the left side to place your order. when you get to the front you type in your name and phone number then the person behind the counter takes your order. what to get? our friend said: Cheesesteak with Cooper sharp cheese, fried onions, and long hots (can get those on the side if you don't know if you like long hots) Most of their pizzas are great. The upside down is a classic (I like half sausage half pepperoni) But stars are the cheesesteaks took his advice and he did not steer us wrong! once we placed the order we're told to hang out and when they text you you get in the line on the right side for pick up. tell them your name and they ring you up! no where to sit in angelo's, so most people go back to their car or sit on the sidewalk. you do have to eat it HOT. okay i have to admit i grew up eating great steak in the mall and loved it. this is not great steak but a seeded bun with MEAT and i dunno is cooper cheese like cream cheese? long hots were like long jalapeños. it was good! the bread made it standout! the pizza was a great detroit pizza with an great crisp crunch on the edge. so yum! another spot i hope we can visit when we're in town!
