The condition of this restaurant is absolutely horrendous. It is a shame that management has allowed it to get so run down. The food we ordered was hot and tasted pretty good, but the burned out lights, broken TVs, signs of water damage everywhere, wallpaper peeling off of the walls, and dead bugs on the floor in the back part of the dining room were enough for me to say NO next time. read more

While the service is not fast, and the prices are high for a sub, they do offer a nice variety of hot or cold subs and wraps. Appears they make their fries fresh from potatoes they have on display--never frozen. My 17 year old son said he wouldn't get them again. He had a cheese steak and I had the chicken cordon blue. Mine was great, the bread was fresh and just the right combination of soft inside and crusty outside, without being all bread little meat. Instead it was a good balance. All working staff had on masks. Nobody was eating at the very limited indoor seating. Seems most business came from the drive thru. Drink station inside warned against refilling or topping off your drink. You must ask for a fresh cup. Restrooms were very clean. I had a chicken and avocado sub and fries. I like their fries. My fries had a lot of little pieces. Kind of surprising since they cut from a potato. They were a little greasy too. All in all not too bad. The place was clean. I think the staff lacked experience. What I mean by that is a more experienced person would focus more on presentation. They would only serve something they would want to eat themselves. They would make sure you were a repeat customer. A high school employee really doesn't get that. I like the Penn station in Terra Haute better. read more

Best place in Newburgh to grab a sandwich. When you are hungry for a REAL sandwich instead of cheap lunch meat and watery veggies on a stale bun. This location has great employees and very fast service. Even though I was here right at noon, with a line of hungry people, I was still out the door and on my way back to work in short order. This location even has a drive-thru, I don't think I have ever seen that at a Penn Station before. read more

I've only been to the Newburgh location this one time. It was not a good experience. A female employee was screaming and cussing at other workers and just causing a scene. The manager didn't do anything. I ordered a chicken teriyaki sandwich with no mushrooms extra onions. The receipt said nothing about no mushrooms but did say extra onions. I politely said again to clarify that I wanted no mushrooms. I got home and my sandwich had no mushrooms and also no onions. I was super sad. I love that sandwich so much and I love penn station so much. But now I know to only go to the burkhardt location or west side. I was just looking forward to that sandwich and was super sad when it was just chicken and cheese. I love onions and they carry a lot of the teriyaki flavor. Anyway, I'm just sad and needed to vent. read more

Horrible experience. After a 12 hour shift at work with no break and nothing to eat all day I decided to stop by and get a sub. It was approaching 9pm and they closed at 10pm. As soon as I walked in there was inappropriate rap music blaring so loudly that I had to yell my order to the woman taking my order. She rolled her eyes at me and yelled for her coworker to ring up my order/take my money. This coworker was also extremely rude and she laughed and said "I thought we were done for the night, but I guess we're not!" And she proceeded to give me a dirty look. They never turned their loud music down at all. I then sat at a table while I waited on my food, and one of them confronted me and told me to move because that table was "clearly closed for COVID" and pointed to a sign. I hadn't seen the sign, not to mention I was the only person in the restaurant. I moved and waited for my food and she came back with my order and sarcastically said "Sorry about our music choice, here's your food." Music STILL blaring-cuss words and all. I hate to be a Karen and complain but I've never been treated so hatefully for no reason. I wouldn't be surprised if they tampered with my food judging by how unhappy they were that I came in an hour before close. read more

Will never return to this place. In the last 2 weeks I have ordered from them twice and ordered the same thing both times. I wanted no mushrooms on my sandwich and both times it had mushrooms. This time I decided to call and let them know about it. The manager just wanted to argue with me about and told me "she put them on there and then tired to pick them off." When I told her she should have started the whole sandwich all over again instead of picking them off since it was still covered in mushrooms. She also tired to blame the person who ordered the food when it was ordered correctly but made wrong. The manager I spoke with should have apologized and fixed the problem. We put in our order online an hour before we needed it. We came to the drive thru window 5 minutes early before our scheduled pick up time. And they still didn't have it ready. We had to wait another 15 minutes before they brought it out to us. They did apologize and gave us a coupon for a small sub that expired last year. Just frustrating. read more

You would think they would actually read the tickets when they are making the subs. If I'm going to pay 35 dollars for a couple of subs, I expect them to at least make them to order.
