This place REALLY needs a deep clean. Everything and I do mean everything is sticky and visibly dirty. Even the cash register and napkin holders have filthy build up on them. I would avoid this place until they get better management who care about cleanliness. read more

Red hot metal wing nut was in the fries . My mom went to buy some fries and when she brought them out to the car for us to share, I saw something in the container that looked a little odd. It was silver, so I knew it wasn't a fry. I went to reach in to grab the item out of the fries only to burn my hand, and as I grabbed it it was so burning hot that my reaction made me let it go. It landed on my forearm and then I knocked it onto the floor of the car . I took a napkin to pick it up to see what it was and found that it was a wing nut the bottom part of a bolt that tightens it that was in the fries A scalding hot piece of metal in the cup of fries . It must've been in the fry cooker while the fries were being cooked because it was scorching hot. I immediately took the whole bag of fries and the bolt in the napkin as I picked it up off of the floor of the car because it was too hot to touch again with my hands. The workers in this place were extremely nice and apologetic however, this scared me and it made me not even want a replacement fry that was offered and I'm concerned for others who may go here and have something similar to happen. I know this was a freak incident however be very, very careful with the food that you get from here because This could've gone a lot worse. If I was the type to grab the fries and put them in my mouth I don't even wanna think of what could've happened but just be careful! And for the establishment please be mindful of things like this because someone could've seriously been hurt. read more

The best Penn Station I've ever visited and one of the best customer services I have seen across many industries. The staff is fun and enjoy being at work and it shows! Losing their grip on quality, not a great reaction. Got two cheesesteaks to eat there. They show up open faced as usual but virtually no meat. A third of the bun had nothing but melted cheese. I took it back up and thought for sure they would react on their own. He said something like "it's to weight". I said to just add some meat and I'll pay for it. Said it would be $1.79 per ounce. Kind of upsetting that I got here 25 mins before closing time and the fry machine was off and was only able to get "selective"subs. The food at this dining establishment was great our food was made fresh but it took along time to arrive the prices are fair but the food is the strongest point in this establishment the customer service was horrible the cashier had an attitude and tried to make my group leave ASAP we went in at 7 and by the time my 3 person group was completely served it was almost 8 so my friend had to ask for a bag to take his eat in order home to be fair the person making sandwiches did seem new and like he was getting used to the work but it shouldn't take 30 minutes to make two cold club sandwiches and a philly cheeses steak. mind you people behind us were served first and were given apologies for their wait. If you ae looking for efficiency and excellent customer service- this is NOT the location to stop in. Brief description- took my son in to pick up a job application. I wanted to get ONE cookie and ONE drink. I walked to 2 people behind the counter, one cooking, one who had to prep and ring. The young man who had to "mulitask" was visibily annoyed and appeared to be anxious. After waiting in line for him to help two other customers, he took a deep sigh asked me what I wanted and I told him ( 1 cookie and 1 drink) he looked at me walked away. I said excuse me? he told me I needed to wait my turn I was cutting others ( after telling me I had to give him my name for a cookie and drink- NEVER in ANY of their restaurants had to do this) when I asked why he began yelling. The manager walked into this- Did NOTHING. I asked for him he paid for my order and he kept yelling. Holy Dudes!! This place reminds me of Senorita Bonita's, also in Solon. Every time I go into either of these places dudes outnumber girls by a 4 to 1 ratio!! I guess if you are a single girl either of these places would be a good place to hang out on your lunch hour?? Onto the food - which is pretty tasty. I love their bread, even though I'm positive it has zero nutritional value. Hmm...maybe why that's because it's so yummy?? I have honestly never tried anything but the pizza sub. Shame on me!! But it is so goo-oood. Especially if you add mushrooms and banana peppers. Yuuuum. Rueban's came with no 1000 island dressing even after it SAYS it comes with it. We even asked for sides of it and they gave us NO dressing on the sub and no sides. The whole interaction was bad from the beginning. I tried to call in my order, it rang busy right up until I walked in. I later realized the phone was off the hook. I walked in and was told they would be right with me. 5 full minutes later, I had been standing there and my order not taken. I'm not a huge fan of Penn Station's in general, but this one makes a pretty good sandwich. The fries are fresh and the sammy is hot. It's in a tough location off of the main arteries in Solon, but worth the find for a quick lunch if you are in the area. read more

I love Penn Station's artichoke sandwich, just not from this one. They weigh out the ingredients, which I don't see at my regular location. I never see them wipe the scale down afterwards. Updated: This place has gone leaps and bounds. Much nicer service, almost too nice. Place is cleaner. I haven't seen the older, mean manager, maybe that's why? love the fries! there's maybe twice the size of mcds with the skins on them. i tried them with ketchup and vinegar and really liked 'em. i tried the italian which had everything i like, banana peppers, salami, oil, vinegar. it seemed like a little food but boy did it fill me up!! i couldn't finish half the sammich and i can eat. will go back. read more
