I come here pretty regularly the last five years and I really never have much to write because it's usually a picture perfect lunch or dinner experience You can get pretty decent codfish dinners and breaded shrimp dinners, and you can get rid of those awful french fries replacing with nice healthy broccoli as a side. I walked in just before noon--there was only one cashier with seven people in line. I have never had to wait in line. They always have two people so waited quite a long time to get up to the front and ordered a six piece shrimp dinner --shrimp was done fine the broccoli was ice cold and they still haven't done anything about the god awful coleslaw. The array of vegetables is fine and the creaminess is fine but the taste is just blah!! . Fresh frozen custard... Sounds like an oxymoron to me....of the day. Is peach. I don't know if they use canned peaches or frozen peaches, but it didn't taste peachy and it had awful after taste to the ice cream quite disappointed in Today's visit. I ordered online and picked up. They have a fairly large menu. You can customize pretty much anything on the menu. The food took about 15 min longer then the estimated time. However, they did apologize for the wait. They were very busy and everything is made at the moment. I would definitely go back, I thought the food was very good and prices were average. read more

We were in Cleveland Clinic and noticed there was a Culver's with in a 25 minute drive of the clinic. Being familiar with Culver's from our days in Worthington OH we knew during Lent they have fresh Walleye from Michigan in addition to their wonderful butter burgers. So as soon as my wife was discharged we headed to Culver's. We weren't disappointed. They really need to open one in Henderson NV. read more

I had a free ice cream for my bday earlier this month and since I was in strongsville, I decided to go and grab it. I had a couple of people with me who had never had Culver's. So we all got frozen custards and also some onion rings. We received our order in a timely manner and surprisingly that day was not too busy. We got lucky. We went to Culver's in Medina it was great. This Culver's not so much. Ordered the cod fish dinner because they didn't have the Walleye. Waited 30 minutes and the food was luke warm at best. I had to go up to the counter and my order was just sitting there. We spent $40.00 then they wanted to charge me for tartar sauce. I asked for the manager but he/she never came to our table. One of the best fast food burgers there are. I put it up with In N Out burger and above Five Guys. The diversity of the menu is where Culver's really shines. I need to try the pot roast sandwich. I don't typically review fast food but Culver's is a little different and this was my first time frequenting a Culver's. We arrived around 3 on a Wednesday. Restaurant itself seemed very clean and workers were friendly. I ordered a double burger and fries. Burger was good, could have used more fries. Next time I'll get a shake too. My main issue was the speed. We arrived at an off time and it was 15-20 minute wait. My friend that ordered five minutes after me got his food first. There is definitely potential here. I'm not huge on fast food, but Culvers, I'll give them my money. It's fast food, the atmosphere here is this, you get what you pay for. Workers are always friendly and provide great customer service. Now to the good stuff. Any burger here is good, they got great French fries, dipped in some ranch and it's even better. My daughter loves their fish sandwiches and it's the only thing she eats here, highly recommend it. They have some of the best onions rings that a fast food place can have. They are crunchy and crispy and must try here. The shakes and frozen custard is something you have to try. Delicious each time. You won't be disappointed with Culvers. read more

Bad Culver's location. Stopped at 9:00 pm on a Saturday. Restaurant actually very slow compared to other Culver's locations. Lots wrong here 1) Counter staff was not pleasant. Did not greet us. Tried to rush me through my selection. Not happy when I asked her to repeat the ice cream flavor of the day. 2) Delivery person had no idea which table to delivery the food trays to 3) ice cream scoop was very small compared to the one I had on Tuesday at the Culver's in Angola, IN (bookended meals in a trip to Chicago with Culver's) 4) Restroom was disgusting. Initial caveat - Culvers is a fast food establishment, so it is with that in mind (and in comparison) that I write a review. Ventured through the drive-thru on a Sunday around 4 pm. Ordered 2 Butterburger Deluxe, both with no onions. A side for cheese curds and a side of onion rings. Had to pull to the side and waited maybe 10 minutes for the food. I noticed a poster below found the wait unacceptable. It's fresh meat - even at home that would nearly take 10 minutes to cook. Again, I knew about the wait coming in so I had no problem with it. Onto the food received, the order was 100% correct (which always concerns me when I order - hold the onions). The burgers honestly looked just like the pictures. Management would have been so proud to see these were the burgers produced. Taste of the burgers, along with the cheese curds and onion rings were very, very good (again, I have Culvers in the fast food category). I would contend that the onion rings are the best among fast food places. BTW, service was fine. They handled the basics - took the correct order, handled the payment and delivered it upon completion. For fast food, it truly was great. read more

I usually love Culver's but today was different. I order a chicken tender meal and a small vanilla custard in the drive thru. Something that I typically wait 10 minutes max. I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru among the other 10 cars in the drive thru. The custard was not very fresh and left a strange sticky and gritty texture on the broken spoon. Just checked out this new Culver's and it was as just okay. We didn't order much and our bill was over $26 dollars so it seemed a little pricey. I ordered a chocolate malt which was good, but not as malty as I had hoped. I also ordered the chicken sandwich, which was very basic and plain. I got a side of honey mustard on the side which made it better. My girls split 4 chicken tenders and seemed to enjoy them. My husband got a burger meal and enjoyed it. The crinkle cut fries were good and salty. I like salt, but if you don't, it might have been a bit much. read more

This Culver's used to be a great place for an all around experience. Unfortunately in the last six months it has become very poorly run. They never have enough people working and the ones there are not happy. Service is horrible. The last time I was there it took 31 minutes to get my food. On top of that my order wasn't correct. Everything about our experience tonight was terrible. Long lines (sure it happens, but they weren't moving), employees just didn't care. We waited 20 minutes for our 2 meals, and were missing items. I was told there's "only cheese" on the butterburger cheese, only to be surprised with a large bite of pickles. Yuck! The cheese curds were cold and taste like fish. The dining room was absolutely packed, many people just standing around waiting for food, and good luck finding a table. We have enjoyed Culver's in the past, but after our last couple of trips here, and honestly trying to give them another chance, we just can't risk the bad experience and leaving hungry. My experience at the Culver's in Strongsville, Ohio was awful, Samantha at the window was rude, raised her voice as if I should have known all that comes on a certain burger. It was very unexpected, that I had to ask her if she was having a bad day and that she was being a bit rude. She then states that she doesn't want to take my order. Proceeds to pass it on to another coworker who was so much more pleasant. I've always had questionable service at this location, not sure why. read more

Came in the first Saturday night they were open, at 6:45pm. Drive-thru line was wrapped around the building and parking lot was packed, but had to give it a try. While waiting in the line, I was able to pull-up the menu online and found out that Strongsville had Butter Brickle as the flavor of the day. Looked really good, so when I got up to order, I was all set with what I wanted. Conversation went something like this: "How can I help you?" "I'll have the Butter Brickle in a waffle cone." "What was that?" "I'll have the Butter Brickle in a waffle cone."" "OK, you want a cone. What do you want in it?" "Butter Brickle." "OK, Butter Pecan in a cone." "No, Butter Brickle please." "OK, I have a Butter Pecan cone, did you want anything else?" "No, no, no! I want the flavor of the day, Butter Brickle, just like it says here on the menu board." At that point, someone else took over the conversation and explained that Butter Brickle was an obsolete flavor and the flavor of the day was Butter Pecan. They went on to say that the menu board may say Butter Brickle (which it did), but that is wrong and it's Butter Pecan. They also apologized profusely for the confusion. I'm pretty sure some employee came in this morning after a little bit too much Friday night partying and didn't know the difference between Butter Brickle and Butter Pecan. I then had the pleasure of continuing my wait in the drive-thru line and watching employees mosey out of the building and deliver bags of food to the waiting cars from the drive-thru with absolutely no sense of urgency. Molasses rolls up hill faster in the winter than these people moved. After 32 minutes, I got my Butter Pecan cone, along with a strawberry shake and a peanut butter shake. Love trying out news places! As of now the only complaint is that they don't serve Coca Cola. Any new places has kinks to work out, which is expected but overall the first experience was greaT!! First time there and we were not impressed. Now the food was good, but the experience there was the worse I've ever had. I'm hoping since they are a recently new location it will get better? What we ordered were two different shakes (one with strawberries and bananas added to it, the other just a single scoop of the daily custard), a build your own burger with a side of fries and a drink (we wanted the jack pub burger that online after putting in the strongsville zip said it had but once there they said they didn't) a mushroom and Swiss burger (mind you what I got is literally called that on the menu) with bacon added and a side of cheese curds and a drink. We got this to go so as we waited (the wait is long but they tell you it will be) we just stood where they told us to. Finally we get our food for order #35 (which was ours). We are about to leave when we realize we were only handed the shake with the added fruit, I i say let's just the bag to make sure everything else is there. Of course we are missing the fries (all of this cost money Culver's!) Now I'm skeptical, I say check to make sure our burgers are even correct before we leave, I'll go ask for fries and the other icecream. The mushroom and Swiss burger with bacon is my missing the mushrooms ‍ so again I feel bad at this point (like how can you forget the mushrooms when it's literally in the name). I just ask at this point for a side of mushrooms because we just want to get out of there, they say they can't do and will have to make it again, so again I tell them nicely "mushroom Swiss burger with bacon (bacon cost extra too FYI)" We finally get it and I really wanted to check again but the person I was with said not too, how can the screw up again? We get home... this time they forgot the bacon ‍ Moral of the story, CHECK CHECK CHECK! They clearly still have A LOT to work out. The pickles on my single deluxe basket were quite a few and in a pile in the middle instead of spread out to enjoy in each bite. Along with this the tomato slice I got was white and had the steam practically on it. This end should never be served. read more

This was my first visit to a Culver's and I had little in the way of expectations, other than taking a friend who prefers crinkle fries to a dining establishment that features such. We both had a burger and fries. Service was reasonably quick (traditional stand in line for fast food set-up) and there was seating available which was clearly marked as freshly cleaned. The new location has lots of parking and seating. Both the restaurant and the drive-thru were fairly busy during a Saturday lunchtime. The crinkle cut fries? Served hot and freshly fried but have that kind of salty crunchy coating found on a lot of fries these days - not a positive. read more

Usually love going to Culver's. Not anymore. Went for dinner after a festival and wished we hadn't. Service was super slow, though the food was just ok this visit. Worst part of the visit was the concrete mixer we bought to take home. After the 10 minute drive home I started to dig in and enjoy what is usually a great treat. Half way through eating I got a sharp pain in my throat. Didn't think much about it just figured I was getting a sore throat and the ice-cream toppings irritated it. The next bite was different, as something sharp cut mu tongue. I immediately spit the contents into my hand only to find a tiny piece of sharp plastic mixed with a little blood. I stopped eating and strained the rest of the mixer through a strainer but didn't find anymore. I looked at the cup and spoon it came in but didn't see any broken parts so I'm guessing something on the machine broke. I emailed Culver's and after a few days I received a reply apologizing and offering me a certificate. I emailed back letting them know that wasn't the point of my email but that they should check to make sure the machine isn't damaged and that no one has this happen to them. I dint hear back. You'd think they would at least want to see what I swallowed and what cut my mouth..but I guess not. So that will probably be the last time we visit that Culvers..which is unfortunate because they usually have pretty good food. read more
