    Fresh-Cut Fries

I hadn't had a cheesesteak in quite a while so thought I'd grab one. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was just meh. There was enough meat but just barely and I can't put my finger on why I was so underwhelmed. Maybe the steak wasn't seasoned enough? Not sure. The fries were great though and you get more than enough of those with your order. Service was fine. Take a look at the photos and you'll see what I mean. Just meh right?

Time stamp. With the wrong name! They also never called out this name in the store.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We arrived right at 8:00pm and our ticket was stamped 8:06pm. We were first in line, no one else was even in the store yet but somehow everyone who came in after us got their food before we did. At 8:33, we finally got our order. One sub was supposed to be vegetarian, the other an Italian. Please tell me which one looks like it has meat in it because I had to dig just to find a single slice of salami. Both sandwiches were cold, and when they finally brought them out, the employees looked awkward, clearly realizing something had gone wrong. We ended up asking for a refund and leaving. We didn't even get a proper apology and the service was by far the worst we've ever had here. We've always loved Penn Station but after this experience, we won't be coming back.

It was my first time here. I stopped in on a Saturday lunchtime, and boy, oh boy, was I excited for what was to come! This shop rocked it out! Three young women were running this place lickity split! I ordered a mini Reuben with extra Thousand Island dressing on white with a snack-size fry to go. The sandwich came hot, sizzling off the grill, FILLED with deliciousness that nicely pleased the palette. But let me tell you, the hand-cut fries to die for! OMGOODNESS!!! And with malt vinegar...they are THE BEST fries I have ever had in my entire life! I'm talking better than the fries you get at the fair. These suckers CHEFS KISS! The restaurant itself is understated, with ample setting, clean, and a WONDERFUL staff! There is also plentiful parking out front! I will be back for those fries alone!

Great hot subs! Decent prices. The fresh squeezed lemonade must be tried. The regular size sub portions are quite large.

Very rude service. Tried to serve me old fries then argued with me. I will not return to this establishment.

Subs are good but take forever. Only 2 people in place and took 35 minutes and for that price not worth me always being late for work.

I adore crab so ordering that was a no brainer. Their coffee is strong. It took a ton of cream to change the color... though it was delicious with free refills for $5. The omelette was heaven. All the flavors melded well and I appreciated the crisp acidic salad to cut the richness of the omelette. My only critique is wishing the crab salad topping was a bit more decadent. For $21 I was hoping for big lumps of crab rather than cool shredded mayo based salad. All in all, I love this place, I love the concept. It was quite busy and was thankful to snag a seat at the bar. The service was friendly and quick. Best hipster establishment I've patronized in a long time. Make a reservation if you have a group or pray there is a seat at the bar. My boyfriend and I stumbled in during happy hour and were happy to grab some cheap drinks, but the main event was the burger! We typically like sitting at the bar as well and chat with the bartender who was absolutely lovely! The dirty martini was okay but I will definitely order something else next time as the olives just didn't hit for me. It's a quaint and quiet spot - you can read that as intimate - since it's not loud or rowdy, so if you want a really sweet date spot, feel free to check this one out! Otherwise, you can just go and have a casual, delicious dinner. Parking is limited with the street parking and it being so close to Monroe Center but you shouldn't have a terrible time finding something, even if requires a parking ramp vs street parking. I'd just recommend a reservation if you are going on a weekend or don't want to wait/sit at the bar!

Our waitress was awesome too--super friendly and helpful without being over the top. The whole place has a clean, modern vibe but still feels really family-friendly, which I liked. It's one of those spots that just feels easy to be in. I ordered the hanger steak, and not even kidding, it was one of the best meals I've had. I never clear my plate, and this time I did. Every bite was that good. You'd never know it was gluten-free--the flavor was incredible and nothing felt like it was missing. Then I somehow made room for cheesecake and finished that too, which says a lot. Same thing there--no way you'd guess it was gluten-free. Overall, they just really know how to do gluten-free right. Nothing felt like a compromise at all. I'd 100% go back.

We arrived a few minutes early and the restaurant was quite busy. The ladies at the front were great, they explained the seat is not quite ready yet but should be right at our time. We were seated on time. Our server was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. It was quite busy on a Tuesday with families and small groups. It is loud but not too much. You can tell it is "the spot" There was a selected menu with small shareable plate style options. We ordered the "Grove for two" then added on to accommodate the 3 of us. Of course we started with the bread and butter, this was simply sinfully good. Our list of plates were, summer salad, fritto misto, hash brown, asparagus, fjord trout, braised pork, short rib, lamb, and flat iron steak. They brought each plate as they thought should be. Omg the flavors. Every plate was done to perfection and brought out in perfect timing. We ordered a bottle of their Pinot Noir which worked perfectly.
