It has grilled chicken, chopped romaine, tzatziki sauce, cucumbers, tomatoes, hummus, feta, and a cucumber basil dressing. I ordered the regular size. The flavors were very good! I think I was actually wanting a little more romaine in the bowl. But I would order it again. And next time, I may order the larger size. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant was very clean and there was plenty of seating. I know that it is probably just not part of their menu to have sodas as an option but I would have loved a soda! I love corelife!! It's essentially a subway type concept but for salads and broth bowls. They do have the predetermined menu as well but you can customize them to your liking. I've tried a couple menu items here but I always go back to the southwest grilled chicken and purple rice blend salad. It is SO good and I love their chicken here. The dressing they use is a jalapeño lime cilantro vinaigrette and it is just so tasty. This is a great place for lunch with decent prices and I would say the portions are pretty big! read more

I saw that they had a location here in Grand Rapids so I immediately bookmarked it and came in for dinner last night to eat some of their delicious food. My recent addiction with them is their tacos, so I went with the Greek Chicken Tacos which were fabulous. They really make eating healthy fun here, and if one were closer to my home I would eat here way more often. Prices are on point and everything here is really super good. Weekday lunches are a hot mess. The line is crazy long and the order online/pick up is always a mess. I've ordered online both times & they're NEVER ready at the time you put down. So, put down an earlier pick up time. Furthermore -- the first time - I didn't get everything I ordered and I had to come back. The second time - half my order was at the pick up rack and the other half was on the counter. Why?! My usually order is the: *Sriracha Ginger Roasted Tofu (Baby spinach + shredded kale, roasted organic tofu, spicy broccoli, carrots, ginger, sprouts, basil, sriracha. Vegetarian) with added chicken. *Bone Broth! Channeling my inner baby yoda! But in all seriousness, their bone broth is pretty legit. The food is pretty decent and I appreciate healthier options but every single time I go I wait longer than I expect to (smoothies take forever) and I've been the only one in line and still had to wait excessively long for them to make online orders first. I just went in and tried to use a gift card and was getting tired from waiting for them to figure out how it worked - they even advertise gift cards outside the store so that's probably something they should figure out. Oh also - the checkout thing makes it super hard to figure out how not to tip - even my husband came home complaining about it once. I've actually gotten so frustrated I asked the cashier how not to tip which is just awkward - poorly designed and I've never had that issue anywhere else, and I do tip if I have a good experience. read more

This CoreLife Eatery location is close to Fresh Thyme and Chow Hound, so my boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick dinner while running some errands. The space is big and open, and set up pretty much identically to the location in Grandville. The girl at the counter who greeted us was really friendly and happy to give suggestions. The menu is a bit overwhelming with lots of options, plus you can really customize your meal however you want by swapping things out and adding other items. I also think the menu has grown a bit since I visited the Grandville location when they first opened. If you're indecisive I'd check the menu out before going in so you can have a better handle on what to order! Luckily there wasn't a line so we were able to read a little and take our time. I chose the tuna poke fire bowl, which has Ahi tuna poke, avocado, pickled jalapeños, pickled red onions, pickled red cabbage, sesame Sriracha sprouts, and purple rice. The suggested sauce is "fire" sauce, which I definitely added. My boyfriend got the steak, bacon & bleu cheese green bowl (chopped romaine + mesclun mix, grass fedsteak, bacon, cranberries, walnuts, tomatoes, gorgonzola). Both bowls were a big portion (you can order a smaller size) and packed with lots of fresh ingredients. The tuna poke fire bowl was pretty spicy! I was surprised as I didn't think it would have as much heat. The pickled red cabbage added a vinegary crunch, which was delicious! The avocado really helped to cut some of the spice, so that was great. The fish was super fresh and tasty, and the rice was cooked perfectly and had a great texture. I had some bites of the steak and greens from the salad--the meat was tender if a bit cooked more than I prefer, and the greens were crisp and fresh, nothing wilty here. While I enjoyed the tuna poke fire bowl I'd probably get something different next time, just because there are SO many options and I want to try them all! All the menu items sound really tasty to me. I could eat here over and over again and never get bored. The other great thing about CoreLife is their selection of fresh juices, lemonades, and teas. I love to create my own mix by combining different options. I mixed the honey ginger lemonade with the cayenne cranberry and it was delicious! The beet lemonade is super beet-y if you like beets! Overall the price is pretty decent for a fresh, quick, and reasonably healthy meal. We spent about $30 for the two regular sized bowls and two drinks. Everything is so fresh! The colors of the veggies are bright and vibrant. You can make your own dish or choose from the suggestions on the board. They offer several salad, grain, and broth bowls, with your choose of veggies and protein (unrelated- when did we all start calling it 'protein'? I remember when it was just called "meat"). Anyway, they offer different kinds of "proteins", including tofu, and they have veggie only bowls. Their drink station with the different waters and juices was my favorite part- i mixed a berry and a lemonade together for something new. The restaurant has plenty of seating inside and out. When i visited they had just opened to the public so the staff seemed to be going slow to get the menu down, but otherwise, everyone was friendly and helpful. Great place to check out for healthy, fast, not very expensive food! I got the chicken and noodle broth bowl, which was kind of bland but the veggies were all delicious. My husband got the steak noodle broth bowl which he really liked - I tasted it and it definitely had more kick to it than my bowl! To drink I had the beet lemonade which was super refreshing and they gave us a side of mandarin oranges for my son. The food fantastic! I started weight waters and I can build my own bowl from the free food list and the cucumber dressing is like 4 pts. The only problem I have is I can go on weekends (it is a 45 min drive). The weekend staff is not as friendly as I was told. The first point of contact told me I had 5 items for my large bowl I could add. I had ordered before the egg as well, but I had to by pass. I honestly would have paid extra lol. The person checking out was fast unfriendly as well. I honestly almost asked if them two had a tiff. I am on the heavier side but hey I am down 30 pounds and proud to keep going. I love both this one and the one in Grandville, have probably been about 5 times between the 2 locations. We have to go to nearby for errands and I try to time it with lunch so I have an excuse to stop here. It's nice to have a place that is both healthy and fast. I like the relatively recent addition of the taco menu, and encourage you to try it on the naan bread which is so soft and crispy at the same time. Because everything is assembled right in front of you you can always switch your ingredients to your exact liking . Don't forget sides and soups! The coconut chicken and Brussels sprouts are my personal favorites. You can also do a combo with sides. It can get a bit busy or noisy on a lunch rush but just head to the outdoor patio to enjoy a pleasant healthy meal in the sun. read more

The concept is similar to Chipotle, etc. It's a build your own style, fast-casual eatery. Fresh, healthy food, prepared quick. I had the spicy chicken rice bowl. Compared to other build-to-order style restaurants, this one has many more options. I went with whatever was pictured for my rice bowl though. Chicken was a bit on the spicy side, but good. I wasn't a big fan of the pickled onions, very acidic, and I'm not sure who's a big fan of dry spinach leaves, but I'm not. (My fault for keeping them in my bowl) Along the way they give you many options, which is nice but I wasn't sure if other items were additional $ so I just stuck with what was in the picture (Make sure to ask). Overall, many options for all ages and food restrictions. Personally the price was a bit on the higher end. Without a drink it was $12+ (A tea/lemonade was $4).
