We chose the Grove for Two and had the Italian beef skewers, Hokkaido scallops, green beans, Dukkah Brioche, Brisket Wagyu, Kentucky Fried Quail, and finished with the vegan sundae. The Hokkaido scallops were the biggest hit--served with corn velouté, hazelnuts and summer truffles. Simply outstanding. And the Brisket Wagyu? I'm not even a brisket kind of girl, but holy moly. Easily the best-tasting brisket I've ever had. The only miss for us was the Kentucky Fried Quail. It was just a little too Kentucky fried--the coating overwhelmed the quail rather than letting it shine. Service was friendly and polished. While one person handled most of our table, the entire staff worked as a team, which is always delightful to witness. Grove is also known for its creative cocktails.
