Her attitude changed immediately after that. She became rude, started aggressively throwing toppings onto my sandwich, and when I asked why she was being rude to me, she told me my comment was rude to her. When I tried to calmly ask how, she told me to "stop talking to her." After that, she pulled my husband's bacon out of the warmer and threw it onto the counter. The interaction became so uncomfortable and hostile that I chose to leave the store altogether. I understand there are always two sides to every story, which is exactly why I encourage management to review their security footage from around 4 PM on 5/23/26. It will speak for itself. I'll also be honest and acknowledge that as I was walking out the door, after everything had already escalated, I muttered "bitch" under my breath out of frustration. I'm not pretending I handled that final moment perfectly. But that happened after being spoken to disrespectfully and told to "stop talking" simply for asking questions while ordering. The entire interaction was unnecessary, disrespectful, and honestly shocking considering we were the only customers in the store.
