    Chopped Salad

The potential of this place is there - the food is honestly pretty good and seems to be of quality - but the service misses the mark. It was jam packed on a Saturday night and they have one bartender and one waitress serving probably 75 people. Definitely not fair to expect them to attend to everyone and do so quickly. By the time we ordered and even got water, it had been 30 minutes and we sat for a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes here for what was suppose to be a quick dinner. Again the waitress was super nice and was definitely in an unfair situation, but I'd recommend getting room service or something to go unless you're fine with sitting there for 2 hours (which the bar is nice and has a good ambiance so that's totally doable if you're staying at the hotel). The chop salad is huge. It's doused in dill which made it soooooo good. Great flavor. I had chicken on top and I'd recommend it. Our table also had some pasta orders and those didn't get great reviews - they said it was way too salty. The place seems to have potential, they just need more staff!

1st stop after landing in St. Louis after a cross country flight. Grabbed a seat at the bar to order a margarita and tacos. Kitchen was closing soon but the margarita was coming right up. I opted for a 2nd round, no can do, out of agave so ordered the Red Bird Margarita, included black cherry syrup, agave wasn't needed. It was not what I wanted but was pretty good. Half crowded, late evening on a weekday, there are comfy bench seating, tables and chairs along the walls. The bartender was nice and the menu was small but looked interesting. Maybe next time

The service was a little slow but they just missed us when we sat. The phone was pretty good tho. The ambiance and aesthetic is super cute.

Rounding up from like a 2.25.... we came here with a large party (9 people) with reservations. they confirmed the reservation but when we got there they were not expecting us and tossed a bunch of tables together. we were then told that the risotto and mussels were not available (2 of the 10 things on the menu!) and then we ordered drinks, only beer and wine, which then took 45 minutes to get be served to us. it was not busy, like only 2 couples at the bar. but overall, the space is beautiful. the food, when it came, was delicious although the menu is very limited. overall the night turned out fine but was not super impressed! will give them a shot another time!

Stop in and see Chef Bailey! He's #stlouispescatarianapproved @stlouispescatarians on instagram! The octopus is fantastic! We also got the deviled eggs...but hold that bacon! Entrees were the sweet potato risotto and halibut! Yummy! Central spot downtown! It's Vibing in there. Great playlist!

He made some suggestions after I asked a few questions. Ended up with the Denial and Error made with Strawberry Infused Cambio Blanco Tequila, Black Sesame-Miso Syrup, Lime, and Chocolate Walnut Bitters. So different but so good as is always the case! I loved how the miso and sesame came through. My other pick was what my daughter was going to get so I got to try that, too! The So Hip It's Outta Sight made with Blanco Tequila, Green Chile Vodka, Creole Shrubb, Cranberry-Sage Syrup, and Lime. It was sweet and good. I would order either of them again. We arrived late on Sunday, around 9:00 PM and they closed at 10:00 not realizing till we were in and seated that no one else was there, we must have passed the last person that came out as we were coming in. Everyone was very gracious; we had one drink and were on our way. I normally have two but didn't want to overstay. I love this place!

The vibe is classic, elevated, and gives true cocktail lounge energy -- not loud or chaotic, just intentional and well put together. Now let's talk about what we came for: the drinks. We ordered the Old Fashioned flight, and when I say they did not come to play... they did not come to play. Each one was crafted differently, and you can tell there's real skill behind the bar. These are not bartenders -- these are mixologists. Every drink was balanced, strong (in a good way), and thoughtfully made. Quick tip: If you plan on getting the Old Fashioned flight, make this your last stop of the night... because you will feel it. Service was great, drinks came out in a timely manner, and the overall experience felt elevated from start to finish. Highly recommend if you're looking for a true cocktail experience in St. Louis.

I have to agree it was quite delicious, very well balanced and a nice refreshing summer drink. We shared 3 apps: grilled summer squash, sourdough focaccia, and pork belly skewers. The first two were really good and highly recommend. Such a nice mix of fresh summer flavors in the squash dish and really enjoyed the romesco butter that came with the bread. For me I could have liked the pork belly more crispy as it was fairly soft in texture not that crunch I like in pork belly dishes but others at our table really enjoyed it. Moving to entrees, I got the lobster donut roll, others at table got the crab pasta and shrimp puttanesca. I just had to try to lobster donut roll but my expectations weren't high as sounds kind of gimmicky and it really wasn't for me the lobster is served cold (Maine style) and I found it to be pretty fishy in taste for my liking. The fries I ordered with it on the other hand were very delicious nice savory flavor and perfectly crispy. From all the plates we got it seemed the crab pasta was the way to go a bit of an elevated Mac and cheese (more sophisticated than that) next time I'd order that. Service was good they paced our food well and were around when we needed something. Modern Instagram worthy ambience. All round good experience!

The fish and chips were both beyond over fried. The braised beef short rib was too fatty for my liking. The macaroons were teeny-tiny and three-dollars per individual macaroon.. we received a scoop of free chocolate ice cream, which my companions thought was spoiled, but I think it must have been dark chocolate mixed with something else?? -Not sure.. We really enjoyed the romesco butter and the whipped ricotta though. The bread was to die for; it was very fresh and our server said it had sweet potato and molasses in it. Although we weren't fans, the place was popping. Everyone, except for us, seemed to be enjoying themselves and their meals.

The cocktail list is solid, and the beer selection is seriously impressive, packed with a great mix of local breweries and unique options. One of the coolest touches is the large display of vinyl records, it adds a ton of character and gives the whole place a unique, almost nostalgic energy. We didn't try the food this time since we just stopped in for drinks, but it's definitely on the list for next visit. I was in need of killing time before a crochet lesson down the street and I thought enjoying a cocktail was a good idea. I was able to get a seat at the bar and immediately starting reading the menu of their signature cocktails. I went with, Sign Painter. It was served in a fluted glass and was made with rye whiskey. I'm a big fan of rye and I found this drink very refreshing. I am a cocktail snob, I enjoy a well made cocktail. Being a snob, I want a mixologist that prepares a masterful cocktail. Enjoying my cocktail and watching the gentleman working behind the bar, I can honestly say, he is a masterful bartender. This visit, I did not order any food items. However, seeing the food severed around me, I'll definitely be back to enjoy to enjoy some Crab Stuffed Mushrooms or a Crab Cake Sandwich. The inside of the bar is compact. In addition to the bar sitting, there's a row of booths along the wall. Beyond the barroom, is a backroom that's is pretty comfy and classy, too. In front of the building is a welcoming patio, that I'll be back to check out in better weather. After just one visit, I know I'll be back. If I still lived in STL, I'd probably be a regular. I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends
