All of the Flora gals have creativity and vision that brings my nail ideas to life. When I have those nail ideas, they always do them so well, and even make suggestions for how to elevate them even more. Case in point: The Disney nails I got for my daughter's Disneyland birthday and the Barbie nails I had to get after seeing the movie. Incredibly blown away with how great my nails have turned out here! My first time here I had gotten an acrylic set which I loved -- they lasted me over a month!! They were the most natural feeling set I ever had! Today I went in to remove the bits of acrylic I couldn't remove + opted for a simple gel manicure on my natural nails! They grew out nicely quite a bit while under the acrylic. Helen shaped them up for me & gave me the simplest + cutest French tip nail design twist! I'm in love with my natural nails now!!! I have known and have been coming to this place for my manicures and pedicures for 8 years. I work in the same plaza so it makes sense. But these ladies have always done great work!! They're so welcoming and friendly. They really make me feel special every time I see them. The work is fabulous and I love their hands. My partner and I wanted to get our nails done before vacation and decided to try Flora Nails. We called to make an appointment and were warmly greeted. Our pedicure chairs were all set up and ready for us as we walked in. Helen, the owner, did my manicure and was very sweet and did a great job. I must admit that my feet needed a little bit of TLC, and the lady that was doing my pedicure spent a good amount of time on me, making sure my feet were soft and clean. My pedicure turned out great. The women that helped my partner were just as amazing and attentive. Unlike other nail salons I've been in, the atmosphere was very relaxing and soothing. We didn't feel like we were being rushed to get in and get out. It was a wonderful way to end our busy work week - refreshed and relaxed! We definitely plan on coming back again! read more

They do decent nails but I was again overcharged today. I asked for a regular manicure and pedicure (that I booked online) and they insisted I do the package ($20 more) I told them no just regular I don't want callus removal. They said ok we don't have to do callus removal. Online booking price manicure is $17 and regular pedicure is $28. They charged me for their upgraded package of $60 that included callus removal that I declined. This isn't the first time I'm been overcharged randomly. 3rd and 4th time I went in for gel manicure I was charged more than the online advertised price $5-10 more without explanation. They always seem to be empty and I'm guessing over charging randomly might be the reason. I won't be back. read more

After reading all the amazing reviews, I'm not quite sure what happened during my visit. I couldn't get into my regular nail salon so I decided to try somewhere new. The woman who began doing my gel manicure was not friendly. She never looked up at me, never smiled, and she seemed annoyed that she had to remove my old gel, which leads me to the first issue. Instead of removing my gel by taking the electric file and then using cotton soaked in acetone, she basically filed all my gel off with a very fast electric file that kept burning my nail. Once the gel was almost completely off, she then used the cotton balls. It seemed very backwards. She also nicked my cuticle several times. She then began painting my nails; her hands were shaky and she was PAINTING MY CUTICLES. I rarely speak up unless something is really wrong, but I asked her to fix one nail and she just responded saying, "it's still wet." After she finished the color, I had asked for chrome powder so another woman sat down to do it (who I think owns the salon?) and I could tell she was not pleased with how the first woman painted my nails. This new woman who sat down had to completely fix them by filing off the gel on my cuticles. I asked her if she usually has to do this and fix the other woman's mistake and she said no and that she wasn't sure what happened. She then began taking the tweezers to get my dead skin off (which usually happens in the beginning after your fingers have soaked in water) and THEN she cut me! Thankfully, she didn't not charge me the extra $10 for gel. I was very hopeful after seeing great reviews and even getting a friend's recommendation but I will not be returning. read more

Looked for a spot for my boyfriend and I to get some mani pedi pampering for our anniversary. Found this spot and spoke with Helen who was incredibly accommodating and provided wonderful service. I believe it was Katie and Li (unsure of the spelling) who tended to us literally "hand and foot" and we were especially amazed at how great our feet felt after the cucumber treatment (off the menu haha). The boyfriend even got his nails "gel"-ed up and the ladies had a fun time with it. Both ladies did a PHENOMENAL job with our nails, they got tested for sure and held up for weeks. They didn't charge me for my last visit with them and made me pay today. If you plan on visiting, get a receipt as proof of payment--which is silly considering you shouldn't have to do that when coming in to get your nails done {or any establishment really}. I hate to write this but this was my last day coming in for services. Apparently, I didn't sign off on the payment that was due at the end of service so when I returned for a pedicure today--they claimed that I didn't pay during my last visit {March}--which is interesting considering that my payment went through in January. So I'd have to owe them for the service in March that wasn't processed {again not my fault}. I immediately asked how do you know it was me and not someone else? And I would never leave without paying. The whole thing was absolutely embarrassing while I was getting a pedicure and I couldn't leave since I was halfway through my service while I was being pretty much ganged up on over this issue. They even offered me ten dollars off my service today but I'm sorry that's not enough for their negligence and really doesn't make up for the fact that I'm having to overpay today. What turned into a simple gel pedicure today at 37.00 dollars now I'm having to pay $47 for the service that wasn't "paid" for last time --now I'm having to pay a grand total of 87?! I said wow I wasn't planning on paying close to 90 dollars today for just one service. And obviously they could tell I was upset so they only charged me 80.... But after tip, I ended up paying 90 anyway. Good grief. I don't want to say "avoid" this place when it comes to a service but this was ridiculous. I'm disappointed, angry and very upset after a service that was supposed to be a relaxing one. I've never encountered an issue like this before and I won't be coming back since my lack of trust with this establishment is gone. Also they ran my card today but again no signature so, hope your system processes it because I'm not returning. read more

I'm impressed with the quality of work this nail salon produces. My nails have held up for three weeks now with minimal lifting. Typically by week 3, my nails start getting stuck in my hair but that hasn't been the case with the acrylics I've gotta here. Everyone is welcoming! One thing I appreciate is the patience the nail techs have. They don't rush to finish through your set & they'll consistently ask if we're liking how the nails are looking! Worst perldicure I've ever had! I get there and the chair isn't working after I already have my feet knee deep in the water that is soaking my pants! The girl working next to me has to come over and unplug it to get it to work after the owner gets up and swears it's working. I know how to work a pedicure chair, lady! Second, I get the newest person there I think. My toenails are chopped up and I keep asking her to clean under my nails. Keeps using the cuticle nippers to cut "at" my toenails. And she can't seem to get the gel off from my previous pedicure. I finally tell them I need someone else! I'm tired of sitting there asking for something over and over. Finally the owner comes over and hurriedly straightens out the mess! She literally slaps the top coat on as I feel it all around the cuticle!!!!
