Last year when my computer was at Todd's being serviced I was preparing the program for my mom's funeral service. I thought I had everything I needed from my laptop before dropping it off to Todd. Well, I had everything except for this ONE particular picture of her. Tl;dr at bottom. I needed my pre-built Costco computer repaired so I called Todd. He didn't answer, but he did promptly text me that he would give me a call at the next chance he got. I sent him a response explaining my issue and asking him to call me when he had time. Todd contacted me a few hours later and immediately started analogizing computers to vehicles, saying how he builds Ferraris rather than Fords. He mentioned how any pre-built from Costco, even if advertised as a gaming computer, is not truly a gaming computer in his opinion, because of the unit's lack of "power" and the inability to be upgraded (which I think may be too large a generalization). He kept trying to encourage me to return my pre-built and seemed to be implying that I should go the custom route with him instead. At this point, he had given me his pitch for the better part of 8 minutes, and when I felt that I could chime in, I explained to him directly that I'm a very casual gamer and that I don't need the best and newest hardware. I also explained that I didn't want to give him the wrong idea, and that I was just looking to get my unit fixed if he could, and I had no desire to purchase a custom. At that point, he calmed down a bit, but he did throw in that if someone uses a computer such as mine with any old hardware, he would usually just tell them to play on console instead. He asked if I wanted to schedule a free diagnostic meeting, but I declined. I don't want to cause him nausea at the sight of my rig. I'll stick to other repair technicians who are here for us mortals. tl;dr: Todd does offer free diagnostic assessments and returns calls fairly quickly, but he also comes off as elitist. read more

Really appreciated working with Todd. I spent over $1,100 on my All-in-One just 3 years ago so I wanted to see if it could be fixed. It has been so slow it's been essentially unusable for the past ~6 months. Todd did a clean install, added an SSD, additional RAM, and replaced my hard drive. I'm lucky to come across Todd at Peoples PC. I purchased a desktop and printer in the beginning of the year 2018 at Best Buy and had a few issues. My Lenovo lap top screen died and I had no clue what was wrong with it. I found Todd on yelp, decided to check him out considering the 60+ 5 star reviews. As soon as i spoke to Todd I knew I would be in good hands. He was very responsive and took time to explain his services and what he could offer me. You could tell he had integrity behind his work. The day I dropped off my computer Todd spent about an hour explaining how computers work (I have zero background with computers except for going on the internet and doing some word docs) and what my options were considering price point and if it was even worth fixing. About a week or so later Todd calls me to let me know my computer was fixed. During our appointment, he went over everything he fixed and the different programs he put on my computer along with instructions on how to keep the computer safe from viruses and other things that cause it to slow down. He was so informative!!! Now I know how to keep my computer clean and running great for the next several years. He does so much to the computer to make it more awesome. Best customer service we've ever had! Our kids accidentally broke the screen on our all-in-one Lenovo desktop, so we contacted People's PC and Todd got back to us quickly! During our appointment, Todd sat us down and explained to us all of our options. We are not very computer literate people, but he took his time and explained things in a way that we could understand. He gave three of the best options for us, and also let us have a couple of days to pray about it, as we aren't rich and wanted to make sure we landed within our budget. We decided to purchase a different all-in-one PC from him that he had rebuilt, as well as getting data recovery from our old PC. Has it really been 4 years? Time has really flown by or shall I just say that Todd really made our laptop so great, we didn't have any issues for four years! Let's begin our journey, my laptop Todd customized four years ago suddenly started going haywire and nuts, all on it's own. Screen blowing up, getting smaller and simply just not responding. He was very communicative and helpful in addressing the situation. After diagnosing the problem, Todd called me to tell me he had already order the part to fix my laptop and that he also had some recommendations to make the performance of my laptop better. Some places like to guide you toward making a big purchase to improve your laptop without really showing you what it could be.
