When I first reviewed Zeta and Tim - I said that I had hoped to never see him again because that would obviously mean that I was having phone problems... Well, as fate would have it, I have seen Tim again, however it was for my wife's phone. Same comments as before super responsive, great service, quick repairs and in both cases, we were back on our phones within the hour - swiping left, right, up, down and selfies all around town! Imagine to my surprise when my iPhone started to not charge overnight and had to meander around New Mexico on a recent October 2016 without any assistance whatsoever. I felt lost without my iPhone to guide me. Asking for verbal directions wasn't going to help much. After getting back to Honolulu without incident, I went back to Zeta computers here in Chinatown and was amazed at the speed and effectiveness that the service was. I came to Zeta computers once before to an inflated battery peaking out from my iPhone sometime last year (2015 or this year 2016). I don't remember. While that was a distance memory, I returned here for a second time, since I remembered that they do good work here. While I had gone to the Apple Store at Kahala Mall the night before and they couldn't do anything for me - other than giving me the doomsday scenario of getting a replacement phone and losing all my data, I couldn't bear to lose all of my photos and already written reviews on Yelp on my Notes app (but not posted). I'm glad things didn't work out with the Apple Store, since I would probably have to send the unit to the back of the store or to the mainland to fix it. The risk of losing my data was too important, since I didn't back it up before my iPhone officially died while I was in New Mexico. The overall experience here at Zeta computers was great the second time around. While I could have waited for my iPhone to be fixed in a few hours after dropping it off on a Tuesday around lunch time, I needed to get back to the office and told them I could get it the next day after work (Wednesday). I was glad to have gotten my iPhone back, so I can get my life back on track. I arrived here at Zeta Computers here in Chinatown, Hawaii 96813. They are a small business that's located in Chinatown's Cultural Plaza. When I first came here, it was hard to find this place, but give them a call to make sure where they are location. If you are in the Chinese Cultural Plaza and found the statue of the lady within the fenced enclosure, follow the alley way and there will be a couple of doors that will lead you to Zeta computers. There is a sign above the door and you will need to press the button to let you in. Zeta computers is convienetly located at 100 North Beretania Street in Honolulu. They accept major credit cards, which is always a good thing, as well as cash. Parking can be a bit of a problem while in Chinatown, so best bet would be to use the parking garage connected to the cultural plaza or find street parking nearby. Either way works. If you are like me, many bus routes come through Chinatown or come close to it. Choose the right route that best serves you and get here for your iPhone or mobile phone repair needs. I'm grateful that the repair was fast and effective. I didn't lose any data or photos during the time it was being serviced here at Zeta computers and the price was quite reasonable, especially when you're without a phone for about 4 days and needing it back badly to function normally again. Oh, the sign of the times these days. Lol. The service here was phenomenal. Tim was awesome and he provided fast and friendly service. He notified me that the port was damaged and it wasn't emitting enough power to the rest of the phone. The guy at Apple said something else and that kind of made me angry that he was generalizing stuff and not giving me a straight answer. Thanks to Tim for diagnosing the problem almost instantly and I actually mentioned Pokemon Go and he acknowledged that 3rd party lighting cables and portable chargers are partly to blame for the bad ports for the iPhone. Needless to say, I am happy that everything turned out the way it should be and happy that the price was very nice. $65 for the port replacement + taxes was very reasonable, versus what Apple had recommended to me. 5.0 stars all around. I have taken my two laptops here. The first laptop, 17" hp pavilion, I took in my fiancé took apart…read morebecause the cool down fan got jammed from a manufacturer sticker that came off. And I mean it was taken apart with no labels whatsoever about where the parts went. I was not in a rush to get it fixed and they got it back to me in under a week. When I picked it up, the employee briefed me on what he did as well as how he lubed a part that he noticed was dry before putting it back together. He didn't charge me for that. The second laptop, Toshiba Satellite, I brought in because I had wiped it clean and did not know how to reinstall all the missing drivers. They got it back to me within a few hours and gave me a discount since I work in the exchange mall. The employees are very nice, helpful, and will answer your questions/concerns. I also appreciated how they do a little extra and brief me on everything they did. I highly recommend them! They are located in the exchange mall in Schofield. When you enter from the main entrance take a left at Starbucks. They're about the 3rd store on the left side. Also, when I brought in my hp, it was pricier and I had to pay a deposit before I left due to them having had customers who left their laptops there without paying when they were told there is no way to fix it. Which is a smart thing.
