I needed help resolving a computer warranty problem. John is knowledgeable and diagnosed my problem and wrote a professional letter to use for my warranty issue (My computer failed 3 days after the strict 90- day return window). John really knows his technology and is willing to spend the time necessary to make sure everything is perfect - all at reasonable prices. I had a seriously damaged Windows 11 HP laptop that contained data I urgently required. I had purchased a new laptop and needed to transfer the data from the non-functional one. John extracted the old hard drive, connected it externally to the new laptop, decrypted the bitlocker data, and ensured that the data transfer was working. He also took the time to instruct me on how to retrieve the decryption key for the encrypted drive and provided me with an external drive case so that I would be able to perform these functions myself in the future. Safari Tech not only came in at the low end of the other places in price, but also did the work the same day in two to three hours! Fixed my laptop in one day! Provided an accurate fast quote over the phone. My laptop screen broke and I was unsure why it wasn't working, when I took it into apple they quoted me about $600 i only bought this laptop back in march so that was pretty frustrating, the employee at apple was incredibly rude so when I called around I was already in not the greatest mood. So I brought in my sons OMEN gaming laptop because it shut off and wouldn't start back up. After diagnosing it he was able to fix it, clean it and add a 18 month virus protection to it. At the same time I brought my personal MacBook laptop. It had different issues with the screen not working all the time. But after diagnosing it he was able to fix it and add the 18 months virus protection to. The tech that helped us was Jon who was super nice and very knowledgeable. He also was able to finish both our laptops in the same day! I really appreciate that he stayed 1.5 hours after his closing time so I could come by to pick up my laptops. My ancient Sony Vaio laptop decided to crap out on me. It literally would turn in then immediately shut off. I brought it in and they told me they'd check it out to see what's the issue. While my laptop was in their service, they kept me updated via text which was very assuring. Unfortunately the root of the problem was gonna cost more than the laptop itself. They told me they were able to save my files which was awesome. I mentioned that I'll be shopping for a new laptop so they offered me a deal. If I was to purchase a laptop from them, they'll waive the service fee that I was originally told to pay. So I went in found what I needed and I must say it was a good deal. The battery on my MacBook Air started swelling. I was told that this was extremely dangerous so I was looking to someone to replace the battery since the computer worked perfectly except for the swelling battery. I took the computer to an authorized Apple repair facility and they refused to touch it, claiming the computer was extremely hazardous.
