I needed an appointment for an airbag recall. I made the appt through a computer voice system for Friday 9:45 A.M.. The appointment was to bring my car in and plan on leaving it for the day. Leave it for the day....I get that. The automated system wasn't bad, but I knew I wasn't coming in for something routine like an oil change, so I requested to speak to a service rep. After talking to a service rep, I found that the appointment was only to document the VIN# and order the parts. Here is the conversation (not verbatim). Me: Can't I just give you the VIN# over the phone??? PF: No, you will need to leave the car for the day for a tech to inspect the VIN#. Then make another appointment to have the work done. Me: You need all day to inspect my VIN#? PF: No, we may not have a tech available at your appointed time. Me: OK....so what is the purpose of an appointment then? Shortly later in the conversation...Me: Please cancel my appointment. I called Bell Ford. Same drill as above, except they asked for my VIN#. They said, "OK, we have the parts in stock and we can do it Monday via our mobile service. Are you interested? My answer...."H*** yes!!" They are coming to my house Monday to perform the airbag rework. Lesson learned....not all dealerships are managed alike. I gave up I should file a lawsuit against this to be honest... when it comes with servicing the car I don't hear back from them for days till weeks when I call they'll just ignore you and no updates are given. (Update 2/27/28) After the disaster with Peoria Ford's repair shop, I took the car to a personal recommended Auto Repair Shop "Sundance Auto Service & Machine Shop". The shop may not look as snazzy as Peoria Ford's, but the mechanics know their stuff. They quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem within a few hours and gave me a great price to do all the work. Apparently the "Vehicle Control Arms" needed replacement as the bushings were totally worn out. A dangerous situation if not repaired. Something the Peoria Ford service department should have noticed and informed me of. But no. Not one peep about control arms from Peoria Ford. Sundance not only repaired the car perfectly, but it also only took them one day to do everything. Dropped the car off that morning and picked it up the next day before noon. And I believe the price would have been nowhere near what Peoria Ford would have charged and probably still not fix the problem. Sorry Peoria Ford. I don't like writing reviews like this, but it was needed. (Previous Post) "Was a happy customer with Peoria Ford's service dept. I've used Peoria Ford for years and always took my 2011 Ford Fusion to them for all service needs. Well... my last service was terrible. Took the car in for a front suspension check because I was hearing some noise when turning and going over dips in the road. Fast forward... after $3,900+ in repair costs, replacement of driver's side front axle which I didn't think need replacing, and some suspension parts for the front and rear, the problem is still there. The car never had a problem with the rear suspension, so I was surprised when they said some rear work was needed there too. I would think that for $3900+ dollars in costs, they would have at least replaced the front shock absorbers when they did the front suspension costing $3900+ dollars. NOT If anything, it's worse. Called Peoria about a week after the service and spoke with the service rep that handled my car and was treated as if everything was my fault with car. What made it so bad was that the rep told me when I picked up my car that the repair tech mentioned that there was still some noise, but it should go away. After that phone call I did not feel that Peoria Ford would do the right thing even with the 2yr warranty for the work that they did do. I believe that if I took my car back to them, I would be charged a couple thousand more to try and fix the issue. In addition, I also started having transmission issues where the shift change was acting funny. Checked the fluid and the dip stick showed no fluid at all. Come to find out that there was almost no transmission fluid in the car. My car has never leaked transmission fluid. So, I can only conclude that when they replaced the driver's side axle that they never replaced the transmission fluid that came out during the work. I had to add 2 quarts of transmission fluid to the car which took care of the transmission issues. Overall, I have no problem paying for additional parts needed to repair the car properly if needed, but I don't like having to pay the additional labor costs when the problem was never initially fixed. Bottom line, I think I'll be looking to find a better automobile repair service shop. It's a shame, because I really liked Peoria Ford's service dept." read more

I currently live in Tucson and got in contact with a salesman from Peoria ford about a 2022 mustang. I went up there the first time driving over 2 hours to go see this car. I got there and we got to the finance part and they wanted a 25% apr rate which is ridiculous. So we left and they said they would find a better rate. Then I get a call saying I got a lower rate so then I planned to go back up there. Then the weekend I said I would be back up there I got a call from the manager saying they would help me when I got up there to lower the monthly payment. Ryan Fessor was incredibly off-putting. After having my transmission replaced, which was a 3 week process, (to the service department's credit I can imagine working with a warranty company can be a pain) I figured I'd head over to the lot to see what the used car options they have. After making it extremely clear I would not be purchasing a new car, and still being dragged through the new car lot and given the whole script, this man-child decided to throw a fit that he would not be making commission off a new car that day. Throwing his hands up and storming off to his superiors, while saying OUT LOUD to a customer "I can't help you if you don't want to be helped". As though this Temu Seth Rogen was trying to do anything other than line his pockets. The sales manager Mike was nice enough, acknowledging in agreement that his underling was acting as a petulant child, but I imagine this type of behavior is trickle-down, "learned by observed" sort. There are plenty of good dealerships that are happy to answer questions and not try to bully or con people into buying something they don't want. Save your time and avoid this place. I wasted hours negotiating with the sales team to get them to fix parts on a used car they were selling (that should have been fixed in the first place). My 17 year old daughter negotiated a price and the dealership backed out on it. They said it wasn't in writing. Total scam. Who does that to a 17 year old first time buyer. They also said the conversation never happened essentially calling us liars. If this is how you expect to be treated by a car dealer then you should use these guys, otherwise stay away. Also good thing to point out is there version of Kelly Blue book is way off the actual price obviously in their favor. They try to list the price based on an excellent condition car (2% of cars, which is very rare) then they try to add on fees to have you pay for items that need to be fixed. I bought a Raptor from this ridiculous establishment 3 years ago and the sh!t they pulled then was unreal. They actually asked me to fill out a review from Ford but only if I give them a 5 star rating. Literally said "if you're not going to give us a 5 star review, we won't send the review to you." Since then, I have had to deal with multiple mailings (filed in trash) but more frustrating is the multiple phone calls that I get monthly from them. There have been weeks where they have called 3-4 times. I have told them multiple times a to stop calling me. They just continue. They just don't care. Guess they are running out of customers they can target. I have no idea how a business can continue to operate with a 1.9 Yelp rating and a solid D- for their BBB rating (attributed to not responding to 18 filed complaints). If they were the only Ford dealership in a 1,000 miles, I would make the drive to another. If you have any respect for yourself and would like to avoid future phone harassment, stay the hell away from this dealership. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at Ford. My car has been in their shop for over 4 weeks now, and the communication has been abysmal. Every time I call for an update, I get vague responses or am told that someone will get back to me, which never happens and worst part is I have been laughed at when requesting to speak with a manager. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Moreover, despite having my car for this extended period, they still haven't been able to repair it. Second once we came to pick up our truck and pay, they informed us that WE would have to pay the 3% credit card fee unless we decided to use our debit card! This is totally unacceptable. They charge more than enough for service and can afford to pay the credit card fee for THEIR customers! Then to top that, the service guy still wants his 5* review. I purchased a 2021 Ford F250 4x4 with the 6.7 power stroke in April of 2021. The factory ford battery exploded on 12/29/2023 and sent acid all over the engine bay and caused the check engine light to come on. I scheduled an appointment with Peoria Ford and dropped it off on 1/4/2024 . The service advisor called me on 1/5/2024 and told me that the EGR is bad due to the battery acid and that Ford will not cover it under warranty because the battery had over 36,000 miles on it. I told them to go ahead and fix the truck because I need my vehicle for work. The truck has 60,500 miles on it and I purchased the 100,000 mile extended warranty. It apparently does not cover damage caused by Fords battery's exploding, so now I have to pay for the repairs. I regret this purchase. Today, 1/8/2024, their diesel mechanic calls me and says "Peoria ford is charging $300 an hour for labor rates, but if I wanted to get it fixed cheaper I could just have him fix on the side for way less." What the hell kind of business is Peoria Ford running? To say I'm aggravated is an understatement. ***UPDATE - 1/9/2024*** I research the diesel mechanics phone # and found his name and address and I the looked his name up and found that he registered a business in December 2023 called "Peoria Ford Specialists, LLC." So I call the service manager to let him know how shady this whole experience has been. I told him that per your own mechanic I am being way over charged and that this guy is trying to scam customers while working for you. I said I want another mechanic to look at it because for all I know this guy didn't want to cover it under warranty so he could scam me into paying him to fix it. The manager asked me to send him all the screen shots of the guys information and phone calls. He then called back and says we fired the mechanic and are going to offer you a $500 discount. Took my wife's 2025 Explorer ST in for service due to warning lights that none of the safety features were working. Upon arrival, before even looking at the vehicle the service writer advised my wife that he thinks it was rats that ate the wiring and would not be covered under warranty which scared my wife. After having my vehicle for a week, the service writer called my wife and told her it was not rats and was an update that was not yet available and we would be without all the safety items we paid for until the update became available. This didn't sound right to me so I contacted Bell Ford who told me they had never heard of that and could bring it to them if I would like. I spoke with a service manager Paul who checked me in and immediately noticed the camera on the rear view mirror was off center and immediately fixed the issue with the car. I know everyone has their own experiences everywhere they go, but based on mine and my wife's I WOULD NOT recommend these people to anyone looking for quality customer service. And if no one believes this review I will be happy to post my work order number and the idiot service writer that loves gas lighting women in a reply. I purchased a CPO truck, no one will call me back or provide me the signed purchase agreement. The dealer has still not registered the truck as CPO with Ford, so the extended warranty I purchased cannot be placed in force. Service Department is a Scam! In July, during a oil change and tire rotation, I suddenly needed an additional $1,700 worth of service including filters, brakes down to 4mm and a battery. I was skeptical and informed them I return at a later date. I ordered the replacement filters and replaced them myself, partially as a check and balance. I returned today because they battery did finally fail. I asked them to take care of the brakes as well. I was informed the brakes were fine at 6mm and that instead I needed all new shocks, CV joint covers and FILTERS. I declined everything except the battery (Yes I know I overpaid, but I prefer all OEM) Upon arrival, the Service Manager Mike, wanted to prove the engine filter required replacement. Upon opening the air filter box, Mike stated the technician checked the wrong box, replacement was not required. He also stated the technician who indicated the brakes needed replacement measured incorrectly. Buyer Beware! read more

I bought a used 2018 Edge and three weeks later, the engine light came on. As it turns out, it is a design flaw in the engine where coolant seeps into the cylinders. The only fix is a new engine. The warranty has just expired timewise and Ford wouldn't cover it even though it was still under the 60k miles. Peoria Ford stepped up and gave me a brand new engine and Carlos Aispuro even got me a two year warranty on it with unlimited mileage. Thank you, Carlos! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I took my Bronco in for a recall that should not have ever left their lot and did not need to be drive! When picking it up found that it was driven 20+ miles, seats were moved all over the place, mirrors moved, radio changed to whatever station whoever driving it wanted to listen to almost 1/4 tank of gas was used, So whoever decided to use my vehicle as their form of transportation while it was there went into my settings in my vehicle and shut off the Connected Vehicle Features so when I looked at my Ford app the Connectivity settings were off and I would not be able to tell where my vehicle was. This is a shady company, and they do not care about their customers, and the management reply was (Hello thank you for your email, I will look into this. Sorry for your experience!) Called for our second service this month and also to set up an appointment to look at a new truck. We were told that we live too far away (Mesa) for their mobile service. I wonder why they didn't tell us not to purchase the Bronco from them back in March, as we lived in the same spot then that we do now. Peoria ford upstanding and ethical, I think not.
