On 11\11\14 I noticed a slow leak in my front drivers side tire.I filled it with air and took it to the pep boys in moorestown.I was greeted very quickly and my truck was taken in the back with in minutes.I have a preferred card with them which entitles me to a free flat repair which I used months before.I walked around back,to view the tech working on my truck 2 of them approached me and told me I needed a valve stem and balance. And it would cost me $25 and change and having the card won't apply. I spoke to a manager and he wouldn't work with me.I explained that this happened before and it was fixed at no charge at another pepboys.He told me they hooked me up and he had to charge me,I asked for my keys and said good bye to (the 3 Stooges) & took it to the retail store on haddenfield rd. in cherry hill where I buy a lot of parts and accessories. I have always had positive dealings with Dan the manager,also with parts managers Nick and Phil all great guys! ALSO ask for Levi, in the Service dept,He's AWESOME too!I should have just gone there in the 1st place.in service I was immediately Greeted by Wendy A service advisor she was awesome, grabbed someone quickly she pulled up my information in the computer and told me I was covered! 30 minutes later I was all finished a Latino gentleman fixed my tire and double checked it and Wendy said I was all done NO CHARGE!! If Yelp has 0 star I would give it to Pep Boys at this location. So my friend and I were on the road trip for Easter Holiday and we got a flat tire just now. I know the situation can be harsh time, lucky today is a sunny day with no snow. My friend quickly got the spare in. We checked on Yelp to see the location closet to us opening for a quick patching tire or any advices about changing new tire? So we found this Pep Boys place and decided to stop by at 6pm. The reviews are not so good but it is urgent so. When we came in, the guy at the service desk didn't even look at our face, didn't ask our name. He just asked how can he help and still look down. After I said I got a flat tire. He looked up and replied that if we got flat tires we needed to leave the car over night because the store will be closing at 8pm and he said he had other cars service ahead of us. So we politely asked if he could just give us a quick check if he could patch it or not because we were in a hurry and we couldn't leave the car overnight. He sounded like he didn't care and he kept repeating that he cannot do anything else but we had to leave the car overnight and pick it up tomorrow. If he doesn't go out to check how can he for sure we can come back tomorrow to get it fix? And he rudely didn't even care how we felt and we said this is urgent we just needed a check. We understood the situation some place cannot accept customers when it comes to closing time but it is only 6pm. And with a bad attitude for customer service, I am very disappointed. I had a great experience with Pep Boys when I lived in Orlando before. They were so nice and very helpful. They treated you differently. Here, they don't care about customers. When you come in, you can feel it right away. No smile no eye contact no hello how you doing, how can I help, how to start the conversation or how to show the customer what to do. Oh well, I was not so mad but I think someone else can care much and some place else can do much better job. We said to the guy that we will look for other place can help us. So we found Mr. Tire on Yelp with good reviews. We are sitting in their lobby room right now and they are helping us with the tire. Joseph is so wonderful with a smile, even closing time here is 7pm. He explained the whole process and suggestion he even gives us 10 dollars off for the situation and he said enjoy Easter day. What a relief! I don't usually write much reviews but when it comes to situation like this I want others know so they don't waste their time and they don't have to go through the experience. This Pep Boys is horrible. Worst service ever. Under oiled my truck. Created issue with stuck lifter requiring further service to fix problem. $200 out of pocket. While getting the service at pep boys and waiting 2 hours! I had disrespectful service, from the manager, stating they were busy and to just sit tight. I was on my lunch break and promised an hour or less. Just have the worst things to say about the service here. And the service manager! NEVER again! read more

My boyfriend took our Honda here and he came back absolutely delighted which says a lot because I always tell him he's super picky! He's an ASE Certified master mechanic and he was extremely pleased with a man there I think his name was Levi? Not sure. But he said they were extremely polite, knowledgeable and the service was quick. They definitely deserve recognition! read more

I should have heeded the warnings of the other reviews. Absolutely horrible visit. Showed up.for my 8 am oil change. Met by a Service Manager that obviously had a bad night or just has really bad customer service skills. I was advised that I had to wait, because none of their techs were in yet. Why even open early if you can't count on your techs to show up on time. After hearing a customer complaining that they charged him for a tire repair and didn't do it, I wanted to watch the tech to make sure they did my oil change. I had a really bad feeling based on the attitude and techs that basically show up when they want. They finally pulled my truck in after about 45 minutes and started getting it ready for the oil change. The funny thing was that I was told that I was 1st to be done due to my appointment. He told me this after he explained of the delay right when I showed up on time. As the tech started preparing to do the oil change, the Service Manager pulled him off my truck to handle another car. At that point, I told the Service Manager that I wanted my truck back, and I was going to go somewhere else because of what was going on. He then proceeded to tell me that another tech will do it. They only had 2 techs there and the other was with another car. I reminded him that I have all ready been delayed enough. His response was that his techs came in late and couldn't do anything about it. He is a Manager.....really? The attitude on this person was not good. After leaving, I went to the Midas that was right next door. They were friendly, excellent customer service, and were very quick to take care of my truck. Even though they all ready had customers present. I even heard the Midas customer service person tell a person on the phone that "don't worry about it. Bring your car over and we will fit you in". That is how a business is done. So, bypass Pep Boys and go to Midas next door. Never again Pep Boys! Absolutely horrible! read more

Terrible, terrible service, first 2 out 3 doors were close at 10 am when I arrive, no sense of time urgency. I waited till 12 for someone to drive my van for brake noise when I originally was told half hour, manager or service counter told me what was wrong with a price way high on a break inspection that only 2 tires were removed!!!! I was amazed by my experience here. It's clear they're really working on customer service as a central focus. I went to Pep Boys to buy new windshield wipers. They showed me which were the best buy for my car (the least-expensive option - nice!) and then not only did they install them right away, but they also filled up the air in my tires and refused a tip. I was helped by the manager and also by one of the other mechanics. It's also notable that they didn't talk down to me as many other car-centered businesses will to women - sad to say but often true. I was treated with care and respect. I will definitely go there again - excellent experience. read more
