I needed another set of tires for my corolla. I looked online, went to other shops no one had what I was looking for. I went on the letgo app to see if maybe someone had any decent used tires and I found their ad. They responded quickly and when I got there they honored the price they had listed. If i could give zero stars i would. They lie to you, i told them i just needed a rim for my car no tire, i called first they said they had it. I get there they said they dont have the rim and that the donut on my car wont come off one of the spigots were broken that i would need a mechanic to do it, they wanted yo charge me $40. I left got the rim i needed somewhere else, i already had new tire they kept wanting to sell me tim with used tire. Another thing they only hear what they want to hear, someone translates speaks spanish only. I will never go there again. Also my spigot was not broken got my tire put on at firestone for no problem, my tire was under warranty why buy a new one all i needed was a rim. read more

I tried calling this place about some used tires. They couldn't even answer a simple question, Put me on hold forever.

I had a severe blowout on I-90 in my new Range Rover and when I went to change the tire, I discovered that the key for the locking lugnut was not in the vehicle. So I called AAA and they towed me to Pepe's because it was close and the driver was familiar with their quality work. Pepe's was able to remove the wheel, and I know they wanted to repair the tire but they couldn't because it had a gigantic hole in it. I know tires and cars and there is no doubt this tire was beyond patching -- it had the biggest hole I've ever seen in a tire puncture, and I have had many of them. They also happened to have a used exact match replacement Pirelli tire in like-new condition in their shop (they have a huge inventory). I was surprised by this because it is a specialty tire. They offered to put on my spare and send me on my way, but the price of the used tire was so reasonable -- a fraction of new-- that I purchased it and they installed it. The staff there are totally professional, honest, and a pleasure to do business with. read more

ZERO STARS...NADA...NOTHING...NO WAY... HORRIBLE SERVICE !!! PEPE AND HIS PEEPS SHOULD BE RUN OUT OF TOWN!!! I had two tires replaced...and the next day I was driving at 45 mph ON A MAIN DRAG, and my car started shaking. Thank GOD I was nearing a gas station and I was able to pull over. Two gentlemen checked out my tires and exclaimed it wasn't my time to die ! Needless to say I was stunned. The driver's side tire was barely hanging on the rim with no lug nuts, and the other had only two lug nuts. I called my mechanic and he took pictures, and he went with me back to Pepe's. Of course they wanted to deny it all...but when I told him who I knew in the court system they started speaking Spanish...wrong move...they didn't know that I was fluent in Spanish...YEP ! the old girl has skills... and when I replied to their nasty ass comments, the look on their faces was worth a million dollars. You could have bought them for a penny. I reported them to the BBB, and I am looking into a small claims suit. I could have very well lost my life, and then they would have been out of business and bankrupt. I ALWAYS ask for a receipt (because they won't give you one unless you ask) thats a shady ass move right there...and I document all conversations with my phone. I suggest anyone do the same no matter where you go...especially we ladies. For some reason these men truly believe females are lacking the 'intelligence chromosome' ...and furthermore like we don't have muscle 'backup'. It's sad businesses like these still exist. I will have the investigative team from channel 2 news come out if I ever have any problem with ANY place again. I did notify them about this, and they stated they would look into doing a 'feature story' on this place. I came out to a flat tire on Sunday morning, and Pepe's was the closest place open. Robert was very direct and nice, and did the work quickly and efficiently. He patiently answered our questions about the condition of the tire, saying ours was good, just needed patching. The price of $10 was great, as we expected to pay more. Never, Ever, Ever again! My husband took my SUV here to get brake work done. When he came back he told me a story of pretty much bad customer service but whatever the breaks were done and my vehicle was home safe in the garage. I work from home so I don't drive daily. When I did drive the vehicle I drove to downtown Chicago of course on the expressway. My truck began shaking and had a pretty bad wobble. I was absolutely terrified. I stopped at my friend's house for her husband to look at the vehicle to what was wrong. He immediately asks "who worked on your car or did you have something done to your car recently". I ask why and he replies that when he took off the hub cap he found that none of the lug nuts (if that's what they're called) were tightened and two had broken off. Meaning my wheel could have come off on the expressway. Of course I'm upset. The next day my husband contacts the shop (the only people who had done anything to my car recently) and we took the vehicle into the shop. What an awful experience. They accused us of lying about the lug nuts and did not believe that they did not tighten them up. Basically after an hour of arguing with these people the manager finally had his employee install the two lug nuts and took pictures of the lug nuts to assure that we would not return with a "new issue." When my husband goes on to assure him that we would not lie or cheat him out of $40 bucks or whatever nominal fee the 2 minutes of work took he replied that he has to be careful because of the people in the neighborhood are always trying to get something for nothing. It was all quite ridiculous and the worst customer service ever... You would think the manager of all people would admit, apologize and try to offer great service but not here. Further more, if you think the neighborhood people are so awful and crooked then why don't you go to a neighborhood where you can trust your customers a bit more. Finally, it's not as if they had to supply some expensive part or pay some huge settlement because their negligent work caused an accident (which it very well could have). It took them 2 minutes of labor but us one hour of arguments, debates and tons of offensive accusations toward us. Overall sucky workmanship and even suckier customer service.....
