Very good non-national chain sub shop. Very good menu. Small seating area but more outside seating for summer months. I have been told the ice cream is good as well.

PepperJacks Subs also has another location in Annapolis; we stumbled upon this place as we were craving for some milkshakes, so we decided to check them out. Their menu offers both cold and hot subs, burger subs, chicken subs, salads, various sides, kid options, and desserts. We came here for an early lunch, and we tried: +a Cheeseburger Sub - with melted American cheese, tomatoes, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard; opted out of lettuce; this came with thick burger patties in their housemade bread; I thought there was just way too much meat, which others would really appreciate; this sub was actually tasty, and I did enjoy the bread +Boardwalk Fries - these were right out of the fryer, and they were super hot and crispy; yum! +Orange Creamsicle milkshake - thick and creamy, using soft serve +a Strawberry milkshake - thick and creamy, this had a good strawberry flavor; I liked this one more than the Orange Creamsicle The staff were very friendly; you order and pay at the front, and they will call your order number when your items are ready. There's plenty of seating, and parking is available on both sides of the lot. I'd like to return to try out their other hot/cold subs the next time. +good subs +good milkshakes +friendly service +parking available

We arrived around 10p on a Saturday night during football preseason and 100000%, you can kiss the expectation of having a seat or table available to you, right away. Luckily for me and my party, we were around long enough that someo other table left and then, we were able to have our own space. Before that, I was literally bouncing in between the 1-tv that showed the football game that I was interested in and the corner of the pool table, where the entertainment/karaoke side is. On to the drinks, they were good! The bartender was a blessing to the evening. The food, we were not able to get as the kitchen was opened during the later hours - our party just didn't get our desired table space til later in the night when we were almost ready to go. Parking, I there are designated spots within the shopping center (of course occupied by other shops' parking), but I personally would park on the far opposing end of The Hideout & walk over with your crew. Overall, it was not a bad experience. I believe this was my first time coming & wouldn't mind coming again, indeed to try the food, but DEF. earlier in the evening.

Sis ordered the salmon and I ordered the paella both gluten free options on a well marked menu. The salmon was melt in your mouth amazing especially with the caper sauce. The paella was delish with perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp and clams (mussels? Idk they come in shells.) suffice it to say, very little was left on our plates at the end... mostly shells. The restaurant is bright and open, welcoming. Smiling faces welcomed us and asked where we'd like to sit. Service was prompt and unintrusive. We had a great meal with great conversation. Def recommend.

Monday is lobster night, and my partner is a big lobster fan. The lobster here (I'm told) was excellent and the restaurant provided the right tools to get all the lobster meat. The sides my partner got - mashed potatoes and spinach - both were good. The potatoes were "real" and the spinach very garlicky. I got the grilled fish - hake. It was well prepared and my two sides, rice and slaw, were both very good. I wouldn't say better than at other seafood restaurants, but good. We started with a bowl of Maryland crab soup, which had a nice broth (very Old Bay-y) and chunks of crab. Tasty soup. The service was good with food brought promptly and good water service. We drink a lot of water and the server came over multiple times to refill our glasses. The restaurant is very nice inside, bright with a nautical theme. The bar was very popular during happy hour and the restaurant looks popular with couples and families. One big disappointment was that we were not offered and didn't receive the complimentary muffins. (They are buttermilk cheese muffins with citrus honey butter.) I later saw on Yelp people praising the muffins and the pictures looked great. I assumed they had discontinued them because I didn't see them at any tables. I did reach out to the owner afterward by email and he told me that they still routinely offer the muffins for the table and that this must have been a "lacking in my server training steps." So, please - if you are not offered the muffins (which look fantastic and I hear from others on Yelp that they are), please ask for them. I'm going to deduct a point for the muffin issue. Honestly, I spent $100 for dinner for two with tip and feel like a person should get the full restaurant experience. I'm a big fan of specialty breads and have been to other restaurants where they put a nice basket of bread on the table. I really feel disappointed by this experience.

Oddly enough, it was pretty quiet, but they do have the games on for anyone looking for a low-key spot to watch. We were seated within 5 minutes, which I appreciated. Our server, Patrick, was... okay. Not terrible, but definitely felt new to serving. We didn't get the rundown of the daily specials (yet overheard them being given to the booth behind us), and a few small service details slipped through--but I'm giving him grace based on his newness. One thing I noticed from Yelp reviews is that bread is usually served automatically. We had to request it, especially after seeing tables seated after us get theirs first. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. We ordered several appetizers, and honestly, they were filling enough to be a full meal: * Ribs - Flavorful, tender, and genuinely falling off the bone. The portion sizes were a bit inconsistent--some pieces were cut shorter than others--but the texture was on point. I'd definitely return for these. * Brussels Sprouts - Patrick didn't mention they were shareable, which would've been helpful. I did like the flavor, but in hindsight I'm glad we pivoted to... * Crab Dip - This one missed for me. The flavor leaned more tuna-ish than crab-forward. Not my preference, but you may feel differently. * Shrimp in Spicy Butter - Definitely spicy, but somehow still flavorless. More like spicy water than a seasoned butter sauce. The one bonus? They were served piping hot--exactly how I like my food. * French Fries - Hand-cut and tasty. A solid win. Unfortunately, everything except the shrimp came out lukewarm, which took away from dishes that could've been great. Temperature matters! On the drink side, though? Hits all around. The fresh-pressed beet juice was fantastic, and the sweet tea was also on point. We skipped dessert only because we were full, but I'm already planning to come back specifically to try it--along with the ribs and fries again. Overall, I'm hoping this was just an off day. Elliott's Kitchen has potential, and I'd like to see it shine on the next visit

But the taste is what really matters and Grilled Sesame Salmon didn't disappoint. Wow!! I thought British food was supposed to be flavorless. The Salmon was both sweet and spicy with the teriyaki bang-bang glaze. The jasmine rice cakes added the perfect amount of crunch and the vegetables were as fresh as they appeared. The pub side of the restaurant feels British with ornate wooden features and sounds of laughter from all around. The bartender are knowledgeable and engaging. I'm breaking my own rules, because I feel the 3.9 rating is pretty accurate, with one 5 star + exception. This was a business lunch and a convenient location so there we were. The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! It was the kind of perfection we all agreed we would have eaten 5, maybe 6 of these unnaturally awesome sandwiches until we passed out! 3.5 Star service, 4 Star ambience, and some 10 Star bites! We started with the fried calamari. The breading was light and the calamari was very tender. It was probably one of the best calamari appetizers we have had out of dozens of restaurants we have been to. For the main dishes, we had the rattlesnake pasta. This is a pasta dish made with rotisserie chicken, mushrooms, red yellow and green peppers in a Cajun Alfredo sauce. The sauce was not too spicy with just enough bite. It was excellent. I don't usually care for mushrooms but this dish was amazing. The portion sizes were huge. Enough, that we were able to make another meal for the two of us with the leftovers. For dessert we had the cheesecake with oreo cookie crust. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. She was helpful with suggestions. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and spacious. It is decorated with beautiful wood trim. The booths can easily sit six people each. The dining area is huge. I estimate that it can sit anywhere from two hundred to three hundred if not more guests. Soothing music was played throughout the restaurant. There is a bar serving mixed drinks and beer as well as soft drinks. The restrooms are spotless and just as beautiful as the rest of the restaurant. The rotisserie chicken is made fresh and cooked in a rotisserie pit right next to the kitchen. We will be going back with family to try their prime rib. Prices are slightly above average but warranted. You are paying for an elevated dining experience with both the food quality and ambiance. There is ample parking in a large parking lot. The restaurant also offers a separate dining area for special events with outdoor dining. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant.
