A special day of drinks and eating with Amigo Dan. It's been a long winter (and spring) at The Cheesesteak Life. We visited Alfredo's in Nov 2025. I'm looking at the video of our cheesesteak (?). I don't know if that is how they make their cheesesteaks or if it is a panini or calzone. I do see a cheesesteak on the online menu. No cheesesteak paninis or calzones on the menu. Maybe that is just how they make their cheesesteak. Either way, we liked our visit to Alfredo's. The bartender was patient (Amigo Dan asks a lot of questions) and helpful. It is a nice big place. It was a nice tasting cheesesteak. We would have liked better cheese distribution. It comes with very good french fries and sriracha ketchup. I would have liked a touch more sriracha in the sriracha ketchup. read more

This is the rebranded Mercato, now Alfredo's, in the building that used to be Giusseppe's trattoria. The interior is fantastic, nice booths, tables, and bar seating available and they have plenty of parking in their lot We love the food here, and the service is good too. I had the pear and arugula salad, followed by spaghetti and meatballs. My dad got the salmon BLT which was loaded with bacon and looked delicious. Mom got the eggplant sandwich which she loved, and my brother calamari followed by their cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was good, but it's served on what appears to be their homemade panini type bread, it looks nothing like your typical cheesesteak, but he enjoyed it thoroughly. Seems like you need to ask for bread now, whereas some places put it out for you as soon as you sit down. But they do bake it there and it was delicious. Some interesting drinks on their bar specials, but we stuck to non alcoholic beverages this visit. read more

My sister had my nephew's high school graduation dinner here for 12 people, and it was terrific. We were given a private room with lots of windows that looked out onto one of the dining rooms so it seemed as though we were still a part of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is open and airy with a big, square bar. Service was awesome, and the food was hot and delicious. We ordered off the menu, and I loved the seafood linguine. I was able to change the pasta to capellini. The best part was that we could bring our own wine and cake. This is a great place for a small group gathering especially if you would like a private room. read more

The buzz on Alfredo's happy hour has been off the hook on the local restaurant groups. Tonight, we went in to try it for ourselves and absolutely loved the atmosphere, the vibe, the spacious bar, & the decor. I recognized the new GM who ran La Porta for years back when it was good as well as several members of their former staff. Learned they have a new chef team and it showed. The happy hour clams casino, Caesar's salad and meatball sliders were delicious. For our dinner we split an awesome shrimp parmigiana with spaghetti. Outstanding. Our bartender Cade was attentive and a great mixologist. Learned Wednesday is also half off martinis so we tried the espresso and lemon drop and they were delicious. Proper drinks as they say in England. All told it was $60 - a great value. It's time for that negative Mercato stuff to end cause this is no longer that. This is now the best happy hour in Delco and we will be back again soon to try more of the menu. read more

Our weekly lady crew went here before a movie...(the owner and seemed like business partner or manager was there and left after they greeted us) 3 of our 8 group were waiting for drinks the whole staff was drinking shots by the service bar and smoking vapes. We ordered a few drinks and they were beyond awful sweet... no balance at all. The bartender James was the most stand off cocky individual I've ever encountered as a patron. (Said he would not make our drinks because we were roaming)... looking at the very nice looking and inviting establishment Cade made our drinks.. after hitting his vape(weird) he was very nice but could not make a drink to sorry to say this but save his life. Management turns over every few months and they can't keep any good front of house staff. Where did the recent management go??? My friend Lisa saw the nasty vegetables rotting by the pizza oven.. should have been the red flag for us to immediately abandon ship Definitely will not return how could a bartender treat a lady with such arrogance.... Where is Giuseppe? Come back!!!!!! After the movie we went up the street to lascalas...(food ehhh) ..low and behold we were next to the owner of Alfredo's and maybe co owner (lady)at the bar... and he pissed his pants and the bar and his manager/partner.. was doing snow in the bathroom. We held a memorial luncheon at Alfredo's for 100 people. The banquet room is spacious, the buffet was plentiful with several options, and the bar too was well stocked. The servers were attentive and the event Manager, Jeffrey and his sister were on top of everything we needed. They accommodated dietary restrictions and made separate meals for those with issues. We had no issues at all. We were very happy during a difficult time. Thank you to Jeffrey and his crew at Alferedo's. read more

Have dined here three times over the couple of months. The service is always on point, very attentive but not overly so, and the food is always delicious and consistent. I have enjoyed everything I've had and so have all my dining companions. What I cannot understand is why this place isn't packed to the gills every weekend, but I'm glad. Drinks are great, plus you can BYOB without corkage fee. Instead of standing in line waiting with the crowds at the other restaurants in NTS, I'm heading here. read more

Food was very good and a nice size portion....we had a coupon for $29.95 which included appetizer, entree and dessert. Issue was with our server..... she disappeared and never was seen again after the appetizers were served......was ot at allfamiliar with the menu ...she offered us a side of either pasta or vegetable but none ever arrived....very long wait times between courses...had toflag down an assistant server for water, dessert and the check. manager came over to apologize long after the fact,...he also informed us that any sides with the special had to be ala carte.....chicken parm without a side of spaghetti.....veryodd. 19 dollars for 5 raviolis is insane! I'd Rather drive the extra 10 minutes down west Chester pike and eat at fellini cafe or lascala's fire. Two way better restaurants that aren't the echo of the once great restaurant trattoria giuseppe. read more

We had a great meal at Alfredo's! Quite possibly the best cheesesteak eggrolls we've ever had. The arancini appetizer was also very good. The calzones were large and flavorful with great crust. The portions on the pasta dishes were large and fresh. Also great cocktails from the bar. I really like the atmosphere-so much better than when it was Trattoria Guiseppe's...very nice decor with TVs at the bar if you want to catch a game. Our server was new, but was really funny and friendly and did a great job. read more

Our first time trying Alfredo's tonight for dinner. Atmosphere is very nice. Everything from apps to dinner and dessert was delicious! Had the homemade Gnocchi special and it was one of the best tasting, light, homemade Gnocchi around! Our waitress Andrea C. was a great server, so sweet and accommodating! Can't wait to go back and try some other menu options. If you haven't been to this place yet, highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed! read more
