    Cheesesteak

Very nice atmosphere. Totally not what I was expecting. Full Bar. Very pricy for a salad, and a cheesesteak. Much better options in the area. I asked for light on the cheese and ketchup on the steak. Neither request was honored. I like cheese but not alot due to dietary restrictions. After seeing my steak, I watched the cook make another. 8 slices of cheese on a sandwich. Whew thats a lot. I ate half because it was to much. If i go again, I will try the pizza.

First time i tried this place was when my boss was visiting from California. Its very calm and chill. I usually go for late lunch. I get all of my big and catering orders from these guys whenever I have a presentation. People I order for really enjoy their pizzas and their steak rolls. I typically place an order over the phone a day before and remind them about the order the next day. I personally enjoy their Jalapeno poppers. Their sandwiches are really filled all the way and the texture and consistency of pizza is to my liking. Do you know that feeling when you eat even just a slice or two of pizza, sometimes you feel like ick? Their crust does not make me feel sick like that and its also very satisfying.

It was just a pick up, unfortunately of a burnt pizza!! I should've checked it before I left. I never would have taken it.

Food was fantastic. Cheesesteak was really good. Huge portion, and steak was high quality. Also had the pizza, super airy and chewy dough. Service as here was top notch. Ask for Alex!

I'm looking at the video of our cheesesteak (?). I don't know if that is how they make their cheesesteaks or if it is a panini or calzone. I do see a cheesesteak on the online menu. No cheesesteak paninis or calzones on the menu. Maybe that is just how they make their cheesesteak. Either way, we liked our visit to Alfredo's. The bartender was patient (Amigo Dan asks a lot of questions) and helpful. It is a nice big place. It was a nice tasting cheesesteak. We would have liked better cheese distribution. It comes with very good french fries and sriracha ketchup. I would have liked a touch more sriracha in the sriracha ketchup.

The interior is fantastic, nice booths, tables, and bar seating available and they have plenty of parking in their lot We love the food here, and the service is good too. I had the pear and arugula salad, followed by spaghetti and meatballs. My dad got the salmon BLT which was loaded with bacon and looked delicious. Mom got the eggplant sandwich which she loved, and my brother calamari followed by their cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was good, but it's served on what appears to be their homemade panini type bread, it looks nothing like your typical cheesesteak, but he enjoyed it thoroughly. Seems like you need to ask for bread now, whereas some places put it out for you as soon as you sit down. But they do bake it there and it was delicious. Some interesting drinks on their bar specials, but we stuck to non alcoholic beverages this visit.

Very friendly people here, many of whom wished me a happy birthday by name. Our server, Jason, was superb. My Sauvignon Blanc was delicious, as was the gnocchi pesto. I had to bring half of it home, however, as the servings are generous. Others enjoyed veal Marsala, beef carpaccio, lobster salad, and veal Parmesan. Very good selection of desserts. Regarding the wine, I'm often leery about wines by the glass, asking how long the bottle has been opened. Jason assured me that the bottles are all recently opened, as they sell a lot of wines by the glass. Mine was perfect. No sign of being aerated. Just a lovely evening and a terrific restaurant. We were not rushed, btw, even though we sat at dinner 2-1/2 hours on a Friday night.

The interior is cozy and welcoming with neutral colored furniture and ambient lighting. When we walked in, we were greeted by what appeared to be the owner who checked us in for our reservation. The tables are a little close together so I can see how it might get cramped if every table is occupied. This wasn't the case tonight, though, as there were empty tables scattered throughout. Plenty of parking in the lot, too. Our waiter took great care of us from start to finish. Super attentive and friendly staff from what I heard and saw at other tables. One thing I would suggest is providing bread for the table. That would've made it a 5 star rating for me. We chose the Mozzarella Caprese as our appetizer and the mozzarella was fresh and firm. I added some salt and pepper to taste. My entree was the gnocchi truffle. The sauce was extremely flavorful and the gnocchi was al dente. The truffle pieces and cheese on top made it a 10/10 meal. We skipped dessert, but each enjoyed an espresso. Everything we ordered got to our table relatively quick, which was unexpected for a "holiday" that is typically busy. They seemed to have their operation under control, and that's awesome. A big thumbs up to Fellini Cafe. I'm looking forward to dining here again!

The only thing I want to call out to the business is the lighting .... It is so so bright inside. We came at night and the place was lit up like a summers day. Why? It was super unwelcoming and almost awkward. It felt like I was in a doctors office literally. A very cool bright light. I suggest dimming them and toning down the lighting to give a warm cozy ambiance.

Fast forward to this latest visit home. I finally secured a reservation...but then late yesterday afternoon my mom's knee started acting up to the point where she could barely stand on it. Fortunately, ice, Advil and rest overnight--and my mom really, really wanting to come here--kept us on track, and tonight I finally made it. It's a cozy spot, and I can see it making an excellent date night, especially since the BYOB setup allows you to bring the wine of your choice (and save some $$). We were seated promptly--this Sunday was relatively mellow--and the servers were super accommodating about removing a chair so that my mom's walker could occupy the unused space on our four-top. The menu is what I call right-sized. It may seem smallish, but there is a strategic assortment of salads and apps, pastas and mains (and, of course, desserts) that is sure to accommodate everyone. Dean, the young man who would go on to do an outstanding job taking care of us for the night (with the other two servers chipping in seamlessly as needed), went through the specials. My mom was particularly intrigued by a squid-ink fettucine with lobster and shrimp (and cherry tomatoes) in a saffron cream sauce. Could we split it as an app, we asked? Would it be too much food? On Dean's advice, we went ahead, while my dad got the mussels. All three of us ordered the pork chop, which my parents have been raving about for a couple years now. How could I not try it? Ordering finished, bread and olive oil (with a bit of balsamic) arrived at the table. Knowing I had a pasta coming and that the pork chop was a good-sized portion, I didn't want to overdo it, which I think was ultimately a good choice. The bread took the edge off, and then the pasta arrived. It was just the right amount for two people to share as an app, and we both enjoyed it, while my dad loved his mussels (and then dunked lots of his bread in it). Then came the main event. The pork chop lived up to (and frankly, exceeded) the hype. It was tender and perfectly cooked and oh-so-flavorful. Definitely one of the best I've ever eaten, and this isn't my first pork-chop rodeo. It was accompanied by asparagus and yummy baby Yukon Gold potatoes; I left a view of the latter, not because they weren't yummy but rather because the pork chop was huge and I was not skipping dessert. For dessert, I went with the house-made cannoli, which was a lovely, sweet (but not oversweet) ending to an excellent meal. I'd be happy to come back to Burrata anytime.

We were amazed at how good our food was and why we hadn't dine here before. We split a mixed greens salad which was also delicious with apples. Topped it off with Strawberry Gelato and Limoncello cake. We had a great date night and can't wait to go back. Very reasonably priced and also a BYOB. So grab your friends or family, some adult beverages and have a wonderful dining experience. Burrata we will be back and sooner then later.

However, the restaurant is small with only about 12 tables indoors, and it was packed. There are also a few tables on Brookline Blvd although it's right next an ice cream shop with people hanging outside the shop right next to where you're eating. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. We received a bread basket and olive oil to start. The bread was plain and nondescript, not at all herby like I was expecting. Our pear and Gorgonzola salad would have been bland but the Gorgonzola in the poached pear was the star of the show. The salad itself was also small for the price. I ordered the scampi with wild shrimp and crab cake and asked for the spice level to be turned up. Thankfully it was and was delicious and full of flavor. The house-made pasta which was part of the dish was a treat as well. My husband said his Chicken Milanese was just okay and not really exciting. He only ate one piece of the chicken. He did get an extra side of pasta, though, which he enjoyed. I had to order the affogato which did not disappoint. Our server poured the espresso over the vanilla ice cream at our table. Yum! Be advised that they sometimes have limoncello but when I asked, they said they had run out. Also, they're byob which is a great money saver.
