I knew I made the right decision when the woman behind the counter went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I drive past this place often and finally decided to pop in when the snow was getting bad. I ordered the chicken spinach deluxe pizza and it was so cheesy and delicious, the seasonings on top were a really great touch. My partner got the slammer sandwich, toasted to absolute perfection! Rome cities BEST Pizza! It's been awhile since we have had the good ole' Chicago style pizza. Thinking we had to drive back to Chicago to get it we decided to look locally first. Walking distance from our Sylvan lake house rental we arrived at the parlor and made ourselves at home, chose the TV station ordered the pizza and breadsticks and boy where we surprised! That pizza was awesome! The proprietors are as nice as can be and work so hard to keep the Pizza coming. Tonight I tried a King Klub sandwich which was a mistake but I think it could have been because they were super busy. The pizzas are loaded with toppings, and are DELICIOUS! My personal favorite is the Sylvan Feast...loaded with meats, and a large pizza will easily feed 3 to 4 people with big appetites. Another great item on their menu is their sausage roll, also known as a "pizza roll". It's basically a rolled up pizza filled with the ingredients of your choice. The only negative that Pepperoni's has...you cannot buy beer in their dining room. Plenty of other soft drink beverages to choose from, though. Wednesday afternoon is their "All You Can Eat" buffet, which is a great value and very reasonably priced. If you're a fan of good pizza...head to Pepperoni's! read more
