I was still willing to drive the extra distance for the restaurant I loved so much, but what's not fine is that they advertised on SweetDeals.com by offering $50.00 gift certificates for $25.00. They later sold $50.00 gift certificates for $5.99, when the timeline would suggest they knew they were relocating. They now refuse to honor all their gift certificates under the old name, while still advertising on Sweetdeals.com and offering new $50.00 gift certificates for $25.00 under their new name. So, everyone who needs to switch out those Tequila Modern gift certificates for the new Madres Modern gift certificates will have to pay an additional $15.80 service fee that SweetDeals.com charges. The food at the Cincinnati location was very good, but the owners of this establishment are lacking in integrity, which I do not appreciate. I believe they should honor the old gift certificates or compensate their customers in a way to offset the additional expense we are now being forced to pay. It's just good business.

Our server was nice, and the place was surprisingly empty, perhaps due to the cold. The first time I came in the summer, every booth was filled. Its location on Ludlow makes it a convenient place to grab a meal.
