Went back to Gretchen's Grotto for more of their homemade pizza. I never tried the meat lovers gluten free pizza before and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed that it was as good as it was. many restaurants were closed on Tuesday. So glad we went here. not much from the outside, in fact i have driven by this place several times and never noticed it. 80s decor with white lacy curtains and vinyl table cloths. radio stations music. (playing 80s hits. which i enjoyed). the food is GOOD. soup tastes homemade. get the bowl. i made the mistake of getting the cup but should have gotten the bowl. bread came out piping hot. large servings. i could probably split my pasta plate into three lunches. homemade potato chips done perfectly. homemade desserts. definite coming back! read more

Absolutely love this place‼‼‼ The pizza is to die for and the pasta dish with spinach, artichoke and mushroom is our favorite. A small town homey atmosphere that feels like home. I also forgot my pocketbook there and it was kept safe for me when I returned. So happy to find a new favorite spot. We went to Gretchen's Grotto with a group of 10 friends to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary. The service was fantastic- thank you Carly- and everyone said they thought their meal was delicious. Some of the entrees ordered were: artichoke pasta, butternut squash ravioli, chicken parmigiana and meat lasagna. All were served together and hot. Their bread is also amazing and fresh from the oven. We can't wait to go there again. read more

My wife and I went to enjoy Valentines Dinner. In the past, food and service have been great. Tonight the service was among the worst I've ever received. Should it take 20 minutes to serve soup, another 25 minutes to serve dinner, and an additional 20 minutes to get your bill? We stopped for lunch not knowing what kind of food they serve. As it turns out, it's mainly Italian. The antipasto salad was really good. The BBQ bacon cheeseburger had a really good flavor and the burger was cooked perfectly. We were trying to avoid carbs, so didn't get to try the Italian entrees.
