We came with friends. Service was fine, Miriam was very attentive. The fare is standard, rater pricey, and like most Italian restaurants, the pasta is oversauced, drowning the flavors. My ziti with eggplant was okay, but the eggplant, and even the ziti were overshadowed by the sauce. The place, a former train station, is attractive. When we asked to split the bill, the manager (?) said they couldn't do that, which was unfortunate. Not sure we'll come back.

Everything we tried was delicious! The staff was great as well. I tried the peplino's special martini, it was Limoncello flavored and so good. The escargot was lemony and herbly. calamari was cooked perfectly, crispy and not too chewy. And the bruschetta was very tasty. And to top it off the cannoli was soo good. Crunchy and the filling wasn't too heavy. I would go back if I lived in the area!

The portions we're enough for two people, and very good food. Our waitress Maria was great. We will be back.

Sure. I may have been born unsophisticated, I am not well learnt, and I am surely not civilized. My…read moremother told me so before she dropped me off at the neighboring wolf families home, built of brick, of which where I was raised. I've since lost most of my wolf tendencies, or so I think. but my howl is still powerful when dusk turns to dawn. Now? I've cultivated a remarkable a diverse life for myself. I own a mule, his name is Pacchero. He's 800 lbs. I explore traditions through my mouth, my tongue, my esophagus. I try Georgian food on a Saturday at 3PM just because, why not? Hopefully Russ Westbrook and his Ninja Turtle buddies don't come fine me for the trademark steal. Oh well, I'm cultured (or so they say) and THEY can't stop me. Badageoni, in the Kisc, has a very nice interior. A bar, deep sea of tables and a nice overall darkish vibe. Right downtown, on a corner, where the greats are made. Little stick ball with Willie Mays, don't say no. Say hey, kid. I'm inexperienced in Georgian cuisine, and mildly unfamiliar but relatively familiar with their history and livelihood. I have a few Georgian acquaintances and friends. Good people. Princes, princesses from what I hear. And I recall hearing of Khinkali through these winding and never ending channels that seem to lead their way through or to me. Life. What a thing. So I got an order and some Ojakhuri as well. I feel spectacular just typing these Georgian words out. Who do I think I am? Anyways. The Ojakhuri was actually solid, tasteful BUT it seemed like something I'd rather make at home rather than order from a restaurant and that's my overall takeaway from my trip and is why I tossed 4 instead of 5 stars. However. I love dumplings. I love dumplings from every and from all cultures. I need a second go to confirm, but I believe (HOT TAKE ALERT) Khinkali are the superior form of dumpling on the planet. Yes, I did say that. I have some more ethnic dumplings to try but this has taken a big jump on the list to number 1. I've never been to Antarctica, who knows what type of dumplings the polar bears are hiding. And before you lose your minds on me, it's a joke. It is an ***** joke. I know Polar Bears aren't in Antarctica, do you think I'm that much of a bottom feeder? Geez you guys need to give me a break - take me with a grain of salt and sprinkle on some pepper. I needs to try the Adjaruli and maybe some Megruli but feel that's an in person endeavor. If you'd like to join me, you know the rules. Hit me in my DMs and pick a time. You probably won't know it's me when you see me but if you do... Keep your distance, I bark and I bite. That's how wolf mother raised me. Awooooooooooo!

Very tasty Georgian food. Nice interior. Amazing presentation. Food came out hot and fresh. I…read moreposted pictures of everything we ordered. The assorted pickles is actually an assortment of pickled vegetables.

Blazers is a 10/10 for both food and drink…read more There are bars and pubs all over the world. Most likely of them litter the earth like wrappers from spent candy bars, a constant reminder of good times gone by. And then you get The Blazer. It is one of those places that shouldn't be there but it is and we are all the better for it. A low ceiling, low lights, jubilant conversation in the background all make for a snug setting. The bar is a seen out of Cheers with the conversation between business man and blue collar foreman flowing as quickly and easily as the beer from the tap. The drinks are cold and served quickly with a smile but it's the food that takes the crown. The menu is small but everything is cooked and presented perfectly. In all the years God has blessed me with life I have never had a better chicken wing. The Blazer traditional wing is served dry with limited spice but full flavored and from a temperature standpoint hotter than the devil's pitchfork. They were perfectly cooked, completely rendered, flavorful gifts of gastronomic joy. The burgers, cooked in a broiler style format, were fresh, perfectly cooked, delicious and of ample portion. The chicken fingers, which were each one a meal, served red hot, perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and tender within. The chili cheese dog was everything it should be and the French fries, which are a traditional steak fry cut, were incredibly crunchy on the outside and soft and tender within. Every bar and pub owner and chef should come here. This is the superlative example of a simple menu, cooked perfectly and served quickly with a smile. It is obvious that the setting, service and menu gets them to come back again and again across generations from miles and miles around.

I love the feel of this place, the personality, the authenticity, and the vibe…read more.. For this, Blazers easily reaches three stars. We came as we understood the wings were the best in Westchester County... After trying two varieties, and being on a perennial wing trail chase for the last four years... I find that title difficult to believe. Wings were meaty, cooked correctly, and came well appointed with blue cheese and celery. Plus, I'm a sucker for wing establishments that provide the wooden bowl for bones. I love that. Otherwise, I found the wings lightly sauced, and kind of dry... We tried the blazers traditional, which are fried, sauce, then refried... They needed one more dunk in sauce to be top-notch. Our second order was their teriyaki wings... much more palatable... But we're still lacking. And I'm not a huge fan of wings that are not sauced in a hot sauce base. The opportunity to add a side of wasabi sauce to any wings was a welcome addition... As we needed the moisture. We did not try any other menu items, but the pub food looked delicious... And our server was fantastic. I do look forward to going back and trying to order things slightly differently... I'll chalk this first experience up on me not really strategically placing my order or knowing how to maximize the potential of a really great place. I know next time will be better.
