I love my local pizza place. The staff is cool as heck, and the manager Marcos, is always professional and seems to enjoy what he does. I like the choices offered here too. You've got the pizza of course, but their salads, sandwiches, pastas, and more, are equally appetizing and satisfying. They have several video games, tucked in a corner, which helps preoccupy the kids. There's even those machines to put a quarter or two in, to add to that useless sticker collection at home. They have restrooms of course, good seating selection, and a bar to chillax at. There's a few big screen tvs, to satisfy your sports viewing urge. My review today is actually appreciating their App! Through Yelp, I'm able to pull up Pepz, select delivery, customize my order, and include tip, for it to be sent to my kids, when I'm running errands. They get to just receive it and eat it. I've always wanted to try this restaurant. We had pizza delivery yesterday and the pizzas were AMAZING! Loaded with fresh toppings and just the kind of crust we like--not too thick. They also have an extensive Italian cuisine, plus sandwich and salad menu. Looks like I'm going to be going there a lot in the future to try everything! Ask for clarification on price when ordering..... I ordered special for $24 and got a $35 bill not nice and will think twice before ordering again. I ordered 1 topping pizza and wanted onion and bell peppers on half... they did'nt tell me the extra toppings would be an additional $10 if so I would never have ordered it. OMG how terrible! We ordered 2 pizza and antipasto. We picked delivery service instead of us picking up. The restaurant staff said the waiting time would be 30 minutes. We waited for 30 minutes but no one showed up. After 45 minutes we called the restaurant. They checked and had no idea because they were using GrubHub driver. We got the driver's phone number and we called. They driver guy said he already delivered our foods 20 minutes ago!!! We checked our front door. OMG the driver left the foods in front of the door, our foods were on the doormat without any bag for 20 minutes!!! I checked GrubHub delivery service and they actually have the no-contact delivery which means the customers can request the driver's to drop the foods off. But we NEVER requestedthe drop off service and the driver didn't send us the text message so we couldn't know where our foods were! Seems this shop requested the drop off delivery service without our permission! This is such a horrible experience and no one apologized to this mess. We will never use this restaurant( foods tastes weren't good at all) and also we will never prepay the tip to these food delivery drivers! read more

I give them 5 stars because of the service and their pizza was worth it! I'm a pizza lover, and I'm very picky how my pizza taste, from the sauce to the dough to the crust and the toppings... The dough was cooked perfectly, and the sauce wasn't too dry or too wet! The crust wasn't burnt or hard. Just how I like it! Anyway, they looked closed on the outside but I thought id walk in to see if they were open, and he said they were closed... Sadly we walked out figuring out what else to eat since it was NYE... I had to use the bathroom and thought id ask them to use their bathroom, and when I did that, the guy asked me "are you dining in or taking out?" I instantly said to go! Ahh, the ingredients at this place seriously must have been sent from heaven. Best pizza in town! I believe they opened a little less than a year ago. The decor is cool, they have signed basketball jerseys on the wall. I enjoy sitting at the bar, right in front of the big-screen to watch the game. The bar counter is surprisingly wide and provides plenty of room for your 16" pizza and pitcher of beer (which they have on tap, btw!) Staff is friendly, service is reasonably fast. Pizza and salad was fresh and delicious! This will be my new lunch spot whenever I'm in the area highly recommend Amigos.

I ordered online via Yelp! Thanks, Yelp! A panini and an order of pizza rolls and ten minutes later I drove over to Pepz. The man in charge processed my payment and said it would be just a few more minutes. Sure enough, a few minutes later I had my food nicely wrapped up and was on my way back home. While I was inside I noticed some arcade games and an air hocket table, several big TVs showing football, and a relatively small crowd for a Sunday night (it's family night, guys!)... but overall, I would return. My pizza rolls were delicious - though a bit pricey at over seven dollars. My wife said that she really liked her panini - grilled chicken with garlic. Yum! We'll be sure to try Pepz again - maybe dining in is a cool experience. PS I really dig all the Angels memorabilia they've got up in this place - see if you can find the signed SI magazine from the 2002 World Series team! read more

Tonight I came into the restaurant very close to closing time (which was unbeknownst to me to be perfectly honest). In spite of that, one of the employees there named Esperanza could not have been nicer personality wise and decided to serve me irrespective. I will not sugarcoat it one bit when I say I was not having the greatest day by any stretch of the imagination and needed a pick-me-up. As a result, to simply be allowed to stick around was beyond the level of kind. I felt welcome. In my estimation, I would contend that the average place might have elected to give me the boot/followed the letter of the law, but the level of customer service Esperanza provided demonstrated there are good people in this world and told me this establishment is a friendly atmosphere in every sense of the word. As a result, I opted to provide a tip beyond what I usually would at most places because I was treated respectfully when I candidly needed it most. She told me the door will always be open as well if I ever wanted to come back and that remark alone made my day. Before leaving, she even asked what my name was and politely shook my hand, which further exemplified strong customer service. When I got back to my car, I was almost in tears because the day did not treat me all too well. Thank you so much for showing me that there is some goodness out there, Esperanza. It is much appreciated and I desperately needed that. By the way, and on a fun note, I loved the set-up of the restaurant, too. I am a massive, diehard Los Angeles Lakers' fan, so seeing all of the purple-and-gold jerseys (especially Kobe Bean Bryant) hung up on the wall was epic!!! :) Rest assured, I will be back down the road - I promise!!! This has been our favorite pizza place for their yummy specialty pizzas and amazing Cobb salad, this is the only reason this review gets 3 stars. Unfortunately the last three times we've ordered from here ruined it for us. We had missing food the first time and they wanted to redeliver for a fee or have a credit for the next time. This most recent order we were told the order would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. When I arrived 30 minutes later, they had forgotten to cook the chicken wings (which were 10 drums and zero wings) and asked me to wait another 15 minutes. Okay, fine. However half of our order was cold by this time and the manager did not care whatsoever. No apology, no nothing. We are business owners in the area, and as the daytime hours pass and it starts to become late and we haven't even began to end our day, we have to satisfy that grumble in our bellies with Pepz. Let me start of by stating their Calzone is delicious. Slightly on the greasy side, but it tastes amazing. Pizza here is also very good, but again slightly on the greasy side. We've also ordered sandwiches here, and we have no complaints at all. Absolutely delicious. Portions are pretty hefty, so use caution when ordering when you're hungry. Expect to get far more than you think. Delivery has always been before the expected time frame that they estimate, so this is high on our list of places to continue to order from. The food here is super fresh! Marcos/Mgr. runs a tight ship when it comes to quality assurance. The pizza was on smack because I customized my order for their Peps house special and California Delight for the wifey! The crust reminded me of NYC STYLE thin slice with a extra thick chunk at the end with freshness! I was super satisfied. -Beer batter SHIRMP was off the charts! The batter on the SHIRMP was surprisingly fresh and not to greasy. It went well with the cocktail sauce and lime wedge. - buffalo wings was on smack! I love the dipping sauces because I compared them to Buffalo Wild Wings and was super surpraise they we way better! The sauces weren't too thick and didn't taste like they were manufactured from a factory. I would have Peps buffalo wings over BWW all day! Came here for a birthday this afternoon. It was a party of 11. We were the only party there, maybe because it was 2pm. Great service and great food. We ordered 3 different pizzas, wings, broasted chicken, salad and 2 pitchers of beer. I don't like bud light, so I got myself a coors light. It was cold and delicious. The pizza is very delicious and classic pizza parlor tasting. I love the broasted chicken. That's probably my favorite part. My inalws have decided to make this the go to birthday party hang out. Went in the get the lunch special before the 3pm cutoff. The manager told me that the lunch special was over and that he threw away all the pizza slices. I asked him to make more so I could get the special and he said no. I told him that my family and I had been customers for over 10 years and that his restarting has gone downhill in the recent years. I said that I was sick of his restaurant and their employee attitudes and that I would never come back. He then said "good, get the fxxx out of my restaurant!" Such a great experience! I had called in a few weeks back asking if I were able to throw a small retirement party for my mom! I spoke to Marcos and he had wrote down the date and time and reserved all 3 back tables for me with no deposit nothing!! The event was just this past Saturday and it was one for the books he helped me order and saved me money as well I got there at 2:30 to set up he let me bring anything I want as far as decor there was no time limit on being there we stayed there till almost 9pm no rush or anything! The Artichoke & Spinach pizza is delicious! Worth every penny. As for the Buffalo wings, they're not my favorite. I prefer mine fried and these are baked.
