Sumac chicken hummus; Mezzes: avocado labneh, marinated feta, olives. Fries & toum on the side. Flavor is 10/10.

#1 rooftop patio in KC, as far as I'm concerned. Percheron is elevated, offers flavorful bites (all Mezze are fantastic) and unique cocktails (za'atar paloma is a favorite). The service is great, offering recommendations and even blankets when it's chilly or windy. They've recently remodeled their seating, making it an even cozier spot to enjoy the view. I love the ambience here and am always planning my next visit!

Beautiful views! Visited a few days ago and lucky the weather was perfect! It gets busy so if you can make some reservations definitely do! The cocktails were great! I had the paloma and it was just so refreshing! The team there was great, always checking on us for another drink/eats. Definitely recommend!

Vibes galore with delicious cocktails and small bites. A variety of seating options from cozy lounge areas, high tops, to picnic tables with bar or table service. Fabulous for a sunset beverage or a full date night. Lots of local performances and events/groups to gather with make this destination extra magical. Keep an eye out for fabulous summer shows and much more.

Finally rooftop season! We took the elevator inside the Crossroads Hotel all the way up to the top. Stopped by late Friday afternoon, and it was pretty busy. There were a good number of smaller tables and chairs, picnic style tables, long tables for large groups, a comfy couch area with tables, and a standing area. We were able to snag a small table in the shade for the two of us. Seating is open for the most part, minus a few tables reserved for parties greater than 6. There were one or two servers walking around taking orders for drinks and food, but we just ordered drinks directly at the bar. The bar tenders were super friendly and made delicious drinks! We ordered two mocktails: Preacher's Daughter - passion fruit, vanilla, lime, lyre's n/a sparkling wine + Summertime Sadness - pineapple, n/a red bitter, seedlip garden, lemon. They were a bit smaller than expected, but nonetheless, both were refreshing and fruity, just how I (we) like them. My personal favorite out of the two has to be the Summertime Sadness, which was more fruity and sweet! They have a ton of food, apps, and other drinks available, but we were just stopping by before our dinner reservation elsewhere. Would love to try their food next time with some friends! You can see a pretty good view of the KC skyline near the standing area. We enjoyed our drinks, took in the views, and soaked up the good weather.

do miracles on the left and party pressure on right

I've been here before and the service has never been this terrible. it was a tuesday night not super busy but we were not served. at all. we got seated by the host, at a dirty table mind you. half ass wiped. and then absolutely nothing, for 15-20 minutes. everyone else around us got served and greeted. got waters. we were confused so we asked the bartender who also treated us rudely, if we're supposed to get served for food and he said a server will come by. nobody came by, we saw multiple servers walking around. nothing. the ambience is nice with the rooftop but service is slow and bad and not up to par with the prices and ambience of everything. will not be coming back. there are better rooftop bars. the drink selection isn't good either.

Great service, beautiful views, and cast of drinks! The rooftop seating has our stuffed couches and chairs and benches super cool. The drinks are well worth the price strong alcohol be prepared.

Was a little windy but busy too, was really nice, sunset was wonderful to see the city, drinks were very good too!

Fun place on the rooftop of the Crossroads hotel. It was really windy when we went so it took a little away from the experience, but it would be a perfect place on a sunny or even fall day. The drinks were good, but they were tap cocktails so not craft but still tasty! Pricey for tap cocktails though. Plenty of seats indoor and out. Servers wait tables you sit at but not the standing tables. Great views!

Toni is amazing!!! She was so attentive and made the experience that much better!!! If you're looking for great drinks and an amazing view this is the place!! Great vibes all around

Such an amazing view of the city. They have designed the space well to offer great views and shaded seating. We ordered a Party Pressure to drink which was tasty and the Batata Harry fries- the sauces were SO good. Great option for a shareable table bite. Service was great, I visited on a Saturday afternoon and was able to find a seat, but lots of reserved tables left folks arriving shortly after us looking for seats. This is definitely a fun hot spot!

Ask the Community - Percheron Rooftop Bar

    Is there a parking lot?

There's not a parking lot that I saw but the hotel has valet parking and there seems to a lot of street parking.

Are dogs allowed on the rooftop?

    I don't believe so.

We were part of the Educational Testing Service AP Readers who have come to K.C. for the last 3 years. We came to the Drum Room Lounge for drinks after a a hard day. We were drawn to it v because of its history. It turned out to be a terrible experience. Your bartender there, was terribly rude and unprofessional. When our people arrived it took her 20 minutes to come to get our orders, eventhough there was no one in the bar but us. She took our order and then it took her 30 more minutes for het to bring over 4 of the 6 drinks ordered. One of our party commented to the person sitting next to her that this bartender was very slow. Apparently she heard this and as the person was tasting her drink, your bartender took it away from her. I tried to get my drink and I was ignored. I tried 3 time s to get ky drink and was not served. Then when we decided we weren't going to be served and one of our group heard your bartender say good luck them being served she refused to give the person paying for the drinks a receipt. This behavior was unprofessional at best and it ruined a night thah could have been great.

I had never even heard of Besos y Abrazos but saw that it was very close by and an easy streetcar ride away to Power and Light so, I thought why not? And boy am I glad I took a leap of faith. I was the first person in the restaurant a little past 11am and I came hungry and left very happy. The first thing I had to do was order a before noon cocktail because why not? I have free will. I was torn between the refreshing sangria and the bold booze forward old fashioned so, I went with the old fashioned because if you're going to do it- do it big! The old fashioned here is smoked and made with tequila not whiskey so, it had a different flavor profile. I enjoyed it but I think it would have been even better made with mezcal to further pull out the smoky notes but, I would order it again. Then came my first course, whenever I see shishito peppers on a menu I'm a simple girl I order them. These were delicious, the tangy tajin was plentiful and took them up a notch. These are tied with my favorite shishito peppers I've ever had (the other being at Blue Sushi right across the street). I can't wait to come back and snack on these. Once again, I was happily surprised when I spied octopus in the main entree section because, this is one of my go to proteins to order. If it's not done right it's dismal. This was done flawlessly. The octopus was tender and could be cut with ease, it wasn't rubbery at all and tasted fresh. The polenta added a creamy element and the entire dish was colorful and well composed. I would consider it a must order if you're an adventurous eater. Dessert was also tasty especially since it was dairy free...dairy does tend to upset my tummy so, I gladly gobbled this up. The presentation was class and fun, a parfait in a large cocktail glass- I love! These textures all worked wonderfully together and each bite had something smooth and crunchy and nutty. All in all this meal was a 10/10 I can't wait to go back with my mom and try their brunch because I think she would love the colorful Spanish vibes of this restaurant. What a great addition to Power and Light District Kisses Indeed Mwah!

When we arrived, the hostess was not very friendly and seemed like she did not want to be there. She seated us, and we waited for service while another table that was seated after us had their drink order taken right away by a different waitress. That waitress walked by us without acknowledging us at all, so I asked the hostess if there was only one waitress working because I wanted to make sure we were not being overlooked. The hostess said she was both seating and waitressing, then walked off. She later brought us waters but did not take our drink order or check in with us. After continuing to wait, we decided to leave and went next door instead, where we had a much better experience. It was a really disappointing Mother's Day outing, especially because we had been looking forward to trying this restaurant. Unfortunately, the lack of friendliness, communication, and service made us feel ignored and unwelcome. I do not recommend this restaurant, and we will not be going back.

No, this is more of a sit-yourself-down kind of place, instead of being a make-your-way-to-the-bar-for-yet-another-drink kind of place. But they serve up some Joe's Kansas City BBQ, so you know they've got a reason to pull you in. Nothing says Kansas City quite like smoked meats & fabulous sauces, so get comfy & sample a Z-Man. There is plenty else on the menu, but if you're vegan or vegan-ish, then good luck or maybe have a cheat day. The BBQ is fantastic and Ice House has added their own bar & grille twists, so you have options beyond smoked meats. Seating is pretty good, and with both a wraparound bar and table service, there are plenty of options. As is the norm these days, there are screens in all directions, so you just don't miss a single moment of sportsball if that's your jam. P&L is a jammed up place when events are happening, so if you can find yourself a spot to sit and enjoy, then that's a win. County Road offers that and more, and it's only real knock is the service levels, which can be slow at busy times. But hey, if you have a seat and maybe a drink, then wait just a few extra minutes for servers to plow their way through the bar crowd. Definitely worth it for the BBQ alone.

It's was big and came with fries and a pickle spear. The flavor was good and the portions was a little too much for me but I powered through and conquered that beast. Staff: It was late maybe an 1hr before closing time and about 20 of is walked in together. Yup! We were totally those people. Sorry guys, but the staff welcomed it and seated us immediately by placing tables together it was great. Orders were placed and everyone got what they ordered so cheers to the staff on that one. The staff was talkative and thanked us on our way out for stopping by to eat. Great team at this establishment. Atmosphere: It was quiet and I think we were tue only ones in the restaurant but again it was late and last minute. The space definitely looks like sporting events and other televised events could be a really great place to hang out. I don't really know so it may be worth checking it out for yourself. Price: My BBQ pulled Pork Sandwich was about $17 and in my opinion that's really good especially considering the portion size of the sandwich and sides. Location: It's located in Kansas City Mousori in the gas light district.
