Great place to hang out for drinks and food in PNL. I normally just come here for the food and this place has yet to disappoint. Everything always comes out hot and fresh. One of my favorites is the sporting hot chicken which is basically a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It's flavorful, has a nice kick, and the chicken is crispy and juicy. The pickles and slaw definitely balance the spiciness of it too. Their wings are also massive. Probably the biggest wings I've ever seen at a spot in KC. Even bigger than wings from the Peanut and Minsky's. We got a dozen wings with Thai chili BBQ flavor. Really high quality wings. Very crispy and juicy and they don't skimp on the sauce. It's a sweet flavor but not a whole lot of kick despite chili in the name. I also like their ranch. Nice and soupy which makes it easy to dip and coat the wings lol. 1 Star - Absolutely Unacceptable Experience I'm in Kansas City for an end-of-year business meeting, and several of my coworkers and I came here Sunday night around 6:30 PM. We all traveled from different states, some flew in, others drove 8+ hours, and this was supposed to be a casual spot for food and drinks after a long day. What a mistake. We were seated and then completely ignored for over 25 minutes. No server. No drinks. No acknowledgment whatsoever. Just sitting there wondering if anyone even worked there. One of my coworkers, Brian, who actually lives in KC (and is the reason we chose this place), had to go find the manager himself. Instead of apologizing or helping, the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. We were then told that ONE bartender was covering eight tables because the manager had sent all the servers home since the Chiefs lost. That is hands-down the most unprofessional excuse I've ever heard in my life. When Brian jokingly suggested that maybe the manager should help serve tables instead of standing around, the manager lost his temper and told our entire group to "get the f* out."** Unbelievable. This was a group of professionals in town for business, ready to spend money, and we were treated like garbage. I've never seen such a lazy, hostile, and unprofessional manager in any restaurant or bar ever. If you're visiting KC, meeting clients, coworkers, or just want basic human decency and service, do NOT go here. Plenty of other places would be happy to earn your business. We came here before the KC Current game, we parked in River Market and took the streetcar to get to this place, short distance from the stop. It's a good place to play, hangout, eat or drink. Decided to take a walk around downtown and was craving a cocktail drink so friends and I decided to stop by this place and we did not regret it! There was an event taking over half the bar , but there were tons of drinking games that you could play with friends. Ended up getting the strawberry mule for my drink per servers recommendation and it was amaze!!!! I ordered the boneless Buffalo wings for my meal and definitely couldn't finish the entire thing. I was so surprised when first walking in how large of space this is! We were sure if it was seat yourself or not, and the two employees standing at the entrance did not greet or acknowledge us when we arrived. They have a lot of TVs, but multiple of them (viewed from the same angle) show the same TV. Eventually, they were able to turn our team on, but made it seem like a major inconvenience to them. Once we finally got seated, our waitress was excellent. She was very attentive and was extremely efficient! They have a decent drink menu and food list, but anything besides your basics is canned. There was a game for almost everyone, including full swing golf, old style dart boards, ping pong tables, bowling (four lanes), beer pong, foosball, and shuffleboard. The spacious, and well-divided space was inviting, with two bar areas, 14 beers on tap, and lively background music. There was also a patio with a great KC Live overlook, a weekday happy hour, and Sun Mon specials. I found the service to be professional and fast. My $1 BBQ pork street tacos were served in just four minutes. The 4" tacos were delicious, with a good portion of moist pork, fresh tortillas, crunchy slaw, and a very tasty BBQ sauce. Don't mind the half eaten nachos, everyone dug into them way to quickly, they were fantastic and a very large portion. Came here to watch the Super Bowl and had the best time! We had a table with a designated server, Cole. Cole could not have been sweeter!!!! He made our experience so great - he was so accommodating and helpful! The food and drinks were great, and the TV set up is awesome. When we first got there, there was a decorative balloon blocking some of the TV - we requested it be taken down and they did it immediately! Our table and all others around us were so happy. We stayed at our table majority of the time so I didn't get to experience all of the fun games around the bar, but everyone else seemed to be having a great time. I think No Other Pub is cool concept however I think it's caught in between two worlds. The first world is the sports bar world and the bar has a leg up since it's owned and licensed by the local MLS soccer team and takes its name from a popular chant by that team's supporters group. The bar has sports bar things: lots of tvs including a huge wall towards the back of the bar, really good and almost upscalish sports bar food (wings, tacos, nachos, flatbreads and pizzas.) Do you like beer? It's here too and craft beer is highly represented including non-Boulevard locals Cinder Block Brewery, KC Bier and Martin City Brewing. If beer isn't your thing then there's a full bar stocked with whatever spirits you can think of. Moving on to the second world, which is the young party world. The bar is strategically placed in the Power and Light District, which is beacon for young people who are wanting to go out and live it up. You know who those people are and the bar caters fairly well to them. The staff even reflects this... many are younger, good looking, physically fit and the perfect people you'd want to give your money to if you're out having the time of your life. Besides the liquid courage, the bar also features some games including Jenga, curling, foosball, etc.. which are all the rage right now. Also from what I've heard (full disclosure, I have not been in late night and get this info from friends) the bar will play music later at night. Not like dance club music, but party music, like what you'd want to hear at a meet market. So, as you can see from above sometimes those two worlds will clash. The sports crowd can get a bit grouchy because the late night crowd will sometimes arrive a little early and the late night crowd can get upset because they have to wait until the game is over to do their partying. It's a tough balancing act. What about me? I do wish the bar would focus a little more on the sports bar aspect and be more consistent with its Sporting KC and Royals watch parties, but I definitely understand not wanting to turn away the late night business. read more

Atmosphere is very fun with tons of different games and activities. We were in KC for a weekend and got drinks both nights at this bar.

Came here with 5 people and had another couple join us soon after. Server wasn't very friendly from the start. We asked for the KSU game to be put on. She seemed annoyed and eventually one of the smallest TVs the game was put on. We ordered apps and many drinks. She was not very attentive and we had to go directly to bar to get more drinks. Several other servers were standing around while we looked around for ours? Once we tabbed out she added a gratuity on for the 5 of us which we didn't understand. Probably because she realizes how piss poor of a job she is doing. Then on top of bad service the well vodkas are $9??!! Well pours. Are you kidding me? Our bill was $375. Drinks and chicken fingers. Total rip-off She never apologized for the terrible service. Bottom line is not sure how this place is still open. Avoid at all costs. read more

This place is grownup Chuck-e-Cheese. They have bowling, shuffleboard (both real and bar game versions), beer pong, ping pong, darts, foosball, a small arcade, golf simulators, food, tons of TV's and alcohol. What's not to love? We came here after a postponed Royals game with 4 hours to kill before our dinner reservation and then flight home. This place was a lifesaver as we were able to book an hour on the golf simulator for 25.00. I don't play golf at all but I ponied up my 1/3 (8.33 for you math deficient peeps) and laid in the comfy leather chair and took a nap. When I was awaken from my semi-drooling state, I decided to order a beer and some pretzel bits with cheese. The pretzels were adequate and served it's purpose. We then went and played some shuffle board(bar game version) and pinball in the arcade before sitting down at the bar to watch the NBA playoffs. The problem was We consumed so much alcohol all weekend, none of us wanted anymore. The server was so awesome as she would check on us constantly to refill our Dr Pepper's (we gave the largest tip ever for 3 Dr Peppers). It was if she sensed our struggle. I remember when this place was Lucky Strike which was a bowling alley and also where I went to my first Kansas City Yelp Elite Event when I moved to Kansas City like 6 (almost 7) years ago. The layout was a little different with the bar relatively in the same place. They had ping pong, a giant pool table with soccer balls for the pool balls, foosball, beer pong, and some others that I can't remember. The people who worked here were nice and friendly.
