Watching Lucky Buddies grow has been such a joy, but what amazes me most is that their heart has never changed. Even as they've expanded, every dog is still treated like family. Teddy has been loved, cared for, and celebrated every step of the way, and there isn't a single person on the Lucky Buddies team that I wouldn't trust with him. They've truly become part of our village. From daycare and baths to transportation, check-ins, and walks, they've made life so much easier over the years. But beyond the services, it's the peace of mind that means the most. I never have to wonder if Teddy is safe, loved, or happy--I know he is. As I prepare to move away, one of the hardest things to leave behind is Lucky Buddies. I honestly don't know how I'll ever find another place like them. Our rabbit is very important to us so I set out to find the best possible pet sitter in the area for peace of mind, that was when I stumbled upon Furry Friends Pet sitting. We boarded our beloved senior rabbit (who is a very sassy bun) for 11 days as we had to leave for an overseas trip. Barbara is very great at communication from the first contact all throughout the duration of rabbit boarding. Questions are specific as in which veggies are most preferred, hay preference, vaccine and vet information. They also provided an enclosure with toys and hidey spots so all we had to do was drop our bun off in a carrier. She would send daily videos and photos along with detailed updates (like how she would lounge all day and snack on her hay and list the veggies she was fed). Barbara shows a lot of experience as she has a variety of veggies as well as regularly cleaning out the water bowl and tidying the enclosure. She would also spend time petting and changing up the toys and tunnels as well. Receiving texts on our bun was something I looked forward to during our trip as I would see how relaxed and comfortable she was! Context: We're introduced to Raschel by our friend who witnessed our struggles with the young energetic bernedoodle puppy. After the initial evaluation and call, we immediately built up trust and had good feelings with Raschel, and started private sessions from June 2022 to Jan 2023 with her. The outcome: Today my puppy is one the most praised dogs on the block. Everyone was impressed by how well-behaved, calm and non-reactive he is now, and one of our neighbors even followed our suit to work with Raschel after seeing our success. My Takeaway: there might be a lot of great canine trainers, but Raschel is at the top of her game. She impressed us by these rare characteristics: 1) Owns a great training system: my observation is that dog training for Raschel is beyond behaviors itself, but more of a philosophy of how humans connect and co-exist with their furry companions. Raschel pushes for the mindset changes for the owners which will inevitably translate to their dogs' continuous development on a daily basis. 2) Masters impeccable and personalized communication skills with owners. I honestly thought Boxers were a stubborn, high energy breed that were hard to manage, and that was that. He was a love around the house but boy would he bark at other dogs. His negative traits didn't stop us from getting Boxer #2. Again, my best buddy at home, but super reactive with other dogs. I tried to train her and sought help from 3 different people. Nothing really worked, and she was impossible to take on walks. A couple years ago, a friend of mine began training g sessions with Little Wolf and I began seeing her and her dog on Facebook. I was in awe of the progress they were making! When I knew I was getting my third Boxer, I contacted Raschel and had a consultation before I brought my puppy home. I didn't waste a minute because I knew I needed all the help I could get. We began our first round of training sessions when Brandy was nine weeks old. My dream was to have a buddy I could take anywhere with me, and thanks to Littke Wolf Pet Care, Brandy goes camping with us, she loves Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay (and any place that allows pets on the patio!), taking walks anywhere, and spending time at my mom's house. Brandy's life has been forever changed for the better because we had the RIGHT trainer. Additionally, I never thought I could have backyard chickens, but I now have 5 chickens and Brandy has yet to bark! Raschel helped me help Brandy be the best dog ever and perfect for me and my family.
