I was highly reccomended to come to this place. I called between 430-5pm and spoke with a gentleman. I asked his his pricing. He told me full set acrylic starts at $35 and full set dipping starts at $45. I made the appt for 630pm that same night. When I got there I was told the dipping starts at $45 and my almond shaped nails is an extra $10? Shorter nails at that. I mentioned to them I just called and was quoted a price of starting $45. Both gentlemen in the room denied they talked to me and would ever give that quote! At that point it wasn't even about the $5, it was more about hiw the price changed when I sat down. And the price changed so much was over charged and left feeling ripped off and insulted. I believe it was Labor Day when my sister, sister in law, and I visited this salon. It was the only place open out of the 3-5 places we looked up. Everyone was closed on this holiday. The place was very clean and classy. We all did pedicures. The ladies were very polite. They had an official wait list, where you could write down your name. They didn't talk in their native languages while servicing us. I think it's very rude for them to talk to each other in their native tongue while servicing. I mean, English is my second language too, but I don't talk in my native tongue while I have customers. It's a level of professionalism I provide to my customers. Perfect 10 has that level of professionalism. The specialist was very attentive and did a great job. Not to mention the polish lasted for what seemed like forever! No chips! Just stayed on for a long time! The prices are a few dollars more than normal places, but I don't care. In my specific experience, I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. I also do basic pedicures and paint job. So, I'm pretty simple. My sister did a design on her captain toe, which was lovely. She really liked it. I can't remember what my sister in law had done. I made an appointment for 10 this morning for two fills, one for my niece and one for me. They sent me a confirmation text when I made the appointment. I also received a reminder text last night. We got there at 9:58 AM. A little after 10, they seated us and a woman started on my nieces nails. I waited and waited. A little after 10:20 someone came to start my nails. I told her I was no longer interested as my appointment was at 10. It took an hour and fifteen minutes for the woman to do my nieces nails and they have globs of nail polish all over. My niece and I get our nails done every three weeks. The last time I was unable to go with her so she went to Perfect 10. She said everything was fine and they only charged $40 for a fill. We pay $45 where we normally go so I decided to try it. When I went to pay, she said $50 for the exact same thing my niece got the last time. I should have questioned her. And when I asked if I was okay to leave since Kevin said it would be free, I was faced with multiple questions. Btw, I had to paid extra for those damn nails bc they were "longer" than normal and now I have one short nail. Also, I've never experienced such crusty nails before. One woman had the audacity to tell me that it was my skin that was peeling. My skin was definitely not peeling before I walked into this nail shop. I had gone to this place prior to Covid and they always did a good job. However, I always felt uncomfortable, my money was welcome but I really wasn't. They promised perks (paraffin treatment) if you paid in cash, but only really gave that service to their preferred clients. I always paid in cash, and only received the perk once, when I specifically asked. Another time, the technician walked away when my nails were painted - no lotion, no closing remarks, just walked away. I sat there uncomfortably for a few moments, then announced "I guess I'm done" and got up to pay and then a couple people rushed over to finish. That all pales in comparison to the uncomfort level I felt yesterday. After a year of applying my own gel polish to sorry effects, I decided to mask up and have a manicure. There was one male staff member, and two or three female staff members (I noticed two, and I think I saw a third). The male technician was giving another woman a manicure after she had a pedicure with someone else and began a tirade about masks and Covid being overblown, hoaxes, etc. There were two things wrong with this: 1. The nail salon is a place to relax and get pampered. It should be a calming, serene place. This technician was loudly expressing his views and arguing with his client. He was argumentative, dismissive, shaming, and many other negative presentations. If he'd been taking care of me, I would have left, mid service and all. 2. adding to what a salon should be.... Despite the usage of Salon to its use in history - a French Salon being a place to congregate for intellectual discourse - the discussion was inappropriate. It was neither intellectually based nor aligned to the purpose of the establishment. Politics and gel polish do not make good partners. I reiterate that I was uncomfortable and add that my pampering expedition was ruined and that I will not visit this establishment ever again. Although I did observe adherence to Covid precautions, given the opinions of this central staff member (which I heard MUCH about), I doubt the sanitary and cleanliness of the facility overall. read more

She was asked to move to another spot to finish cleaning them up. We also were not given an apology or a discount on the service. While visiting this salon as a customer, she was called names, made fun of, and mocked. This is 100% unacceptable. We get our nails and toes done so that we can feel good. Feel pretty. I've been to this nail salon quite a bit and I only keep coming back because it's my friends favorite place. The first few times were great, they were very friendly and talkative paid close attention to detail. Then as we started coming in every payday they just got lazier for me. The past 3 times I went in with my friend my tech was almost paying attention to what my friend was getting done to her nails than mine.. and I have had 3 different people the past 3 times. A couple things have been consistent over my several visits here: they rush, do a sub-par job, are rarely on time and significantly overcharge. I brought my Mom with me and we both got manicures and pedicures for my niece's wedding. They were the worst manicures and pedicures we've ever received and it cost me almost $100! Both young people who did our nails filed our nails crooked and different lengths and they buffed bad lines into our nails. Then they put on the nail polish super fast, sloppy and way too thick. It took forever to dry and by the time I got home the nail polish was all wrinkly, smudged, moved around and terrible looking. I had to remove the nail polish and do it myself while trying to pack and staying up half the night. I hadn't said anything to my Mom about how bad it was, but I found out that she had the same situation and also had to stay up late redoing her nails. What a waste of money! I've been a loyal customer for over a year now and this is the place I tell all my friends to come to, but my recent visit left me disappointed. I have been getting acrylic with gel polish and love my nails every time. I came in yesterday for a gel pedicure and a fill but decided to go back to the dipping since I wanted pink to white ombré. The pedicure was nice regarding the massage, masks, exfoliation, etc. but the pedicure itself (filing, painting, etc.) was mediocre. Next came the manicure and I described how I wanted to go from acrylic to gel. The first woman I had was sanding down my residual gel polish I had on from my previous visit and had nicked the skin around my finger numerous times. Another nail tech started and told me my nails were long enough to do the dipping and still have the shape I always get (I even used a reference photo of my OWN nails before polish) and immediately she cut them way too short. She started the ombré and towards the end, I noticed they we're very thick. She told me that it's because of all the layers and I have curved nails which I understand but I have had pink to white with the dipping before and it wasn't nearly as thick as this. At this point I've been at the salon for over two hours and I'm still continuously asking her to make them thinner, which proved to be a more difficult task than expected. I eventually got fed up and said I was pleased and went on my way. The second I got into my car, my nail chipped. When I got home, I immediately called and told them about the chip and the thickness of my nails and was told to come back and they would fix it. I came in, described the situation, and told the nail techs I'd rather it all be taken off and get a solid color of dip so my nails wouldn't be so uncomfortably thick. After 30-45 minutes of waiting, Lo (who I am very grateful for) fixed my nails and stayed an hour and a half past closing to finish them. I thought the fix would be cheap or close to free as I interpreted over the phone but I was then charged "discounted" $38. I am extremely disappointed. I ended up spending over 5 hours in the salon yesterday, and spent over $170 (not including tips), and i'm still not excited and as joyous as i typically am leaving the salon. I regret switching from my normal acrylic and gel but I am extremely frustrated because they look nothing like how I want them to. I have a big event and my birthday this weekend and would have loved to walk out of there the same way I do every other time I have come, and not have had to pay extra to not even feel 100% confident with my nails. Again, this salon has never done me wrong, but as a loyal customer, I feel cheated out of and I hope it is recognized. I had the powder nails put on in a pink color, the color faded within a week. When I went back Kevin said they were having problems with that color and proceeded to put the same color on, a week later the colors had faded again, Kevin said he was frustrated but there was nothing he could do. I went in on my lunch break to get a fill. The only reason I decided to try them out is that they are across the street from where I work and I did not have time to go to my normal salon. When I walked in I showed them my nails (I get a pink and white gel set with colored acrylic rather than nail polish or shellac) and I asked them if they did that style. She said yes and told me to sit down, then I was approached by another gal who started clipping my nails shorter stating that they do not do the 2 colors acrylic that she would give me fill and shellac the color. I was irritated since she had already started clipping my nails before explaining this to me, but I said fine. Well instead of filing away all of the previous acrylic (the pink and the blue color that I currently had) she just filed away part of the pink and filled the bottom part of my nails, then proceeded to just shellac the green color I chose over the blue. Well duh, common sense already dictates that you cannot just cover a dark blue with a dark green. Anyway I tried to discuss with her and the owner on what in the world that they were doing, and the owner just said that I should have asked them what I wanted. Which I did 3 separate times, I also explained that I have never seen a nail salon not file down all the acrylic to give a clean slate to work with.
