We didn't get an explanation or any options to correct their mistake except the statement we're booked. Do not get your hair extensions done at this place. Bao completely ripped me off. She quoted me $250 for re-installation/bead move up and actually charged me $250 an hour. She doesn't do a great job either. My extensions were sagging so bad when they grew out by the 8 week mark, that I had to wear my hair down or in a low bun to hide the weft from showing. Not to mention the 2x that I had to go in within a week or 2 for her to fix my weft that came out of the stitching. Overall, just not a good experience. She also talks the entire time of doing your hair, which is why I'm sure she charged per hour since it took her longer due to the talking. Save yourself some money and go to Salon Cheveux. They do a WAY better job. read more

Its a rainy Wednesday, and its near opening. I decide that I am going to finally cut my hair from a pretty long style into a lob hair cut. (Long bob.) There is only one stylist this early in the day, (its 10 am) the receptionist tells me.I say that that is fine and the stylist can take their time. (Having worked in the service industry before I don't mind waiting and being patient while they get ready and do their thing.) I sit down and the stylist asks me about what type of hair cut I would like. I mention that I was thinking something mid length, between a bob and shoulder length hair. (AKA A LOB). She then asks if this is how I part my hair, and she begins doing a center part. (K sis... woah.) Side note: I have seen a number of hair stylist and I go outside often... Most people don't do a center part,so why would you cut someone's hair with a center part if they don't do a center part, but also it throws off the style if you're going to cut it like that. I tell her that I want to save some of my hair, and she starts snipping it, just lobbing through it all. No I am serious, she didn't tie it into a hair tie and cut it off, she just started cutting it with scissors really sloppily. Imagine taking a sheet of paper and having someone hold onto it as you just start snipping at the paper with only one hand. (YUP.) I remind her that I wanted to keep some and tell her that I have a hair tie, so maybe she can tie some hair and cut it...She just picks up a small amount of hair from the ground and places it in a bag for me...(KAYYYY... THANKS) Side note: By now, I know I am going to hate this. But its too late.. Its just a little to late, a little to wrong..-singing- She begins to actually cut my hair now, and is putting in layers, but instead of using a pair of thinning shears or doing many layers through out, she did only 3, one being very close to my neck and bottom hair line that is so short, its probably only an inch now 6 months later. (might as well as just buzzed it, I told her I had an asymmetrical bob once and that it was a buzzed a bit in the back.) Also partly through the hair cut she cut her self with her scissors. I don't know if its because she is just trying to hurry or if she is angry. (I think its the last one because she wasn't too talkative and really snipped at me.) By the end of the hair cut, I look like one of my aunts, with their old style bob hair cut. It is no where between a bob and shoulder length. It is no where even close to a lob. IT IS A BOB. EXACTLY WHAT I DIDN'T WANT.(I showed her the length I wanted it. I don't know how she could over cut.) So.. I did what I deemed to be the nice thing to do. I left her a tip. I paid, and went hope and started youtubing hair mask and how to go my hair back quickly. 6 months later, my hair is the length I wanted it to be. Bottom line: NOPE. Find some other place. Unless if you know someone who works there and you know they are good. It is not worth the risk. read more

On 2/13/21 I received a lash lift w/tint that went really wrong. The technician, Liv, accidentally got the tint solution in both of my eyes. First eye which she had to wipe clean, then it happened in the other eye. My eyes were so red and irritated afterwards. Secondly, the lash curl was really bad. One eye more so than the other eye. The lashes curled back into my eyelids, almost forming a complete circle. The lashes are supposed to curl upward, to "extend" the lash length. I googled the issue and a lot of the online examples pointed to the wrong rod size being used. There's really nothing I can do without risking more harm and solution in my eyes. The lashes will just have to grow out. So for me, it was an epic fail. read more

Well I went in for a balayage a few months ago, hoping to turn my light brown hair to blonde. They then proceeded to tell me it would take about SIX SESSIONS before I could even achieve a caramel color in my hair. I left immediately and went to a better salon who then dyed my light brown hair to the perfect shade of blonde in one session and maintained to keep my hair healthy and silky. Overall salon zeo are scammers who just want your money. If they wanted to they could have dyed my hair blonde that day but wanted to milk me of my money. read more

I've had my hair cut by there many times growing up. That's where my mom took me before it was Salon Zeo. I went in yesterday for a "trim". Selena told me that if my hair wanted to be a healthier she would need to cut (showed me amount of hair) off. I told her that was okay. She put my hair on my back and started cutting away. When she put it over my shoulders, I about internally died. What's the point in complaining at this point because it's already cut off. I didn't tell her how I felt about it and I'm regretting it. I feel so self conscious. I measured today and she cut 7.5 inches off. I asked for a trim. The cut looks good itself, so she did a good job there. But it's not what I wanted read more

This Salon is great! Front desk friendly and is on top of things! Every time I call they are able to help me with time frames that work for me. Selena is GREAT! Never dyed my hair and she made me feel really comfortable about the process, was trying to put purple in my hair ended up changing my mind and she was able to help me with tips to get to the color I wanted. Second time I came for a cut, just what I was looking for again super down to earth! She also managed to squeeze my daughter in for a haircut so now she has a tiny 5 year old requesting to have her cuts with Selena!!! Overall great services! Thoroughly disappointed. I had an appointment at 12:30PM on a Saturday and as I was pulling into the parking lot at 12:21PM the receptionist called me to let me know my stylist was running late. Being that I was already there I went in and said I could just hang out and wait, but the receptionist said it may be a bit and mentioned maybe going to get something to eat and coming back at 1:00. I killed some time and came back to the salon at 12:55PM. I was told they were letting my stylist know I was there and proceeded to wait another 20 minutes with no update, offer of water or anything. I called the salon and asked if anyone there was able to do an undercut. I was told by the girl who answered that anyone there would be able to do one, so I booked an appointment with Kasey. Upon my arrival Kasey was very pleasant, but did not realize I was there just for just an undercut. She was caught off-guard but stated she would just charge me like she would for a bang trim. When I inquired about getting a design she told me no one could perform this and actually suggested I go to a barber. I informed her that when I made my appointment I was told anyone could cut an undercut design. She did trim down my existing undercut for me, and then said she wouldn't charge me, which was appreciated. However, when I returned home and put my hair back up I noticed some very long patches in my undercut. I'm very disappointed and now I have the unpleasant duty of telling my referent and I won't be returning. read more

I would not recommend this salon. I wanted to try a new salon that was closer to my work. I made an appointment for a trim since my hair is long and I've been growing it out. I mentioned at the beginning of the appointment that I alternate my part line since I know it makes a difference by the way they frame the hair in the front. Once she finished and asked how I liked it, I told her that it didn't look right. She said that I did not mention anything about my part needing to be able to go on either side. After asking her to try to fix it, and to have more of the hair frame my face, I just told her forget it and that it looked good enough, she was just making it worse. I went home and noticed that one side was about an inch longer than the other, I didn't notice this at the salon. I was in tears for an hour while trying to fix it myself. I'm on a budget and didn't want to pay another $45 for a new haircut. I was very disappointed since my haircuts are so easy, just a trim, nothing complicated. read more

I just moved to northern St. Paul from a small town in Wisconsin and needed a haircut badly! I searched yelp and found Salon Zeo. Other reviewers said it wasn't overly expensive and was an excellent place to go to, so I made an appointment for that night. I don't remember the stylists name but she seemed to be in a huge hurry. Water was flying in my face during the shampoo, felt like she barely touched my head, and I was out of the salon within 15 minutes. Plus when I walked out the total was $40 for a small trim! I've been to small town salons where I get my head massaged, free wine, excellent service for half the price. Also, my head has been extremely itchy since the visit which is weird (ick). I've had 4 cuts from Salena. First one-loved. Second-ok but didn't get same feel as first. Third-loved. Fourth-HATED. I had shared with her how much I loved and the compliments I had received on the previous cut and wanted the same thing. She asked about going about an inch shorter which I agreed to since I had gone a bit between cuts and had enough to give to still get the length I wanted. I HATE this cut. She cut my back so it's now at the hairline-NO LENGTH at all in the back. My hair is now cut into an inverted bob which is a style I would NEVER have approved of. I was not informed as to what she was doing. I thought I was getting my same cut just a bit shorter. I thought it was a bit weird that her process of cutting my hair was different. I mentioned this to her and she just shrugged it off. I actually came home and cut the little wing things off to try to make it look a little better. I don't get why there was no communication from her about what she was doing. What was she doing and why???!!!! read more
