Go To Jenny!!!!! She is so beyond amazing!!! She did a perfect job! I cannot express how happy I was and how in love I am with my dress after Jenny saved the day! My dress needed some serious changes (came in completely wrong after buying it from a bridal show) and Jenny turned it into a beyond perfect dress. I was so happy, I cried on the way home (and I don't cry). It's so beautiful and she did a fabulous job in only a few weeks! She fit me in when I was panicking and spent time and effort for me and is now going to be altering my sister's and mother's dresses. SERIOUSLY GO TO JENNY!!!!! She is the sweetest, nicest person you will ever meet! The dress is staying with her because she presses them as well! Long story: I ordered my dress from a bridal show. It was supposed to be strapless with a short sleeve lace jacket. I spent more on the dress than I was every planning to but it was perfect. It was supposed to come in 6 months later, was delayed 9 months and then the dress came in with the front, which was to be a low sweetheart, all the way up to my neck (literally), the jacket attached to the dress with a full back (supposed to show my back) and sleeves (done very poorly) down to my elbows. It was not pretty to say the least. The bridal store owner (his wife was the designer of the dress) said he would help me and that he had a seamstress that would fix it. (Long story about the bridal store, a lot was going on and it was not their fault). I got my dress in October and was told to go back to her in late January. I called her two times a week for three weeks with no reply and no answer. Now it was the beginning of February and I started to panic because I then went to two other seamstresses on my own who said they couldn't do it in time for how much needed to be done (wedding is in May). The owner personally was in contact with me and called the seamstress and she finally called me back and just said "no, I can't help you." If I had known, I would have found somebody in Oct when the dress came in. I was very upset and then my mom found Jenny online, She saw me the same day after hearing my story. Jenny is a busy person, but she took the time and effort to fix my dress. I ended up falling in love with the back of the dress and the collar, so she turned it into a beautiful vintage, low cut sweetheart with short cap sleeves. I can't imagine how much time it took to redo the beading (and there was a lot) and it was more perfect than I could even imagine. It fit like a glove and it was so gorgeous and very unique. Hi, I took measurements myself because I was so busy when my sister decided to have the wedding in a month and a half. She ordered the dress and I was so nervous it wouldn't fit because everyone else is in another state so they had the dress shipped to me. I have an odd shape with a small waist and my hips/thighs get wider quickly so the size 10 fit my hips comfortably but the waist was way too big. I was worried with the way the dress was styled and had quite a bit of detail in the waist so I didn't know how anyone could take it in that much but still make it look great. Jenny did! When I initially called her she got me in the same day. After one week I went back for my fitting and she took extra steps to put stuff in the dress that should have been there from the beginning. Somehow she made it look fantastic! It was smooth from the strapless part all the way through the hips. Jenny is very passionate about providing the best quality in alterations I have ever seen. She is really nice and cares about making people feel wonderful in their attire. Her daughter helps her at times and she is very friendly as well. To say Jenny is amazing is an absolute understatement!!! I ordered a bridesmaids dress and it was extremely big and way too long. After searching for alterations shops in Phoenix, I saw all the wonderful reviews about Jenny. Taking a chance, I gave her a call before her website stated she was open, hoping to just leave a message. Instead, I spoke to Jenny and had an appointment three hours later. When I arrived she greeted me with the warmest smile and reassurance that my dress would be beautiful. I was a little nervous to tell her that I needed the dress in 9 days. She didn't flinch when I told her the tight turn around. She simply reassured me that my dress would be ready. Upon seeing the dress, Jenny thoroughly explained what she would do and was very open to my suggestions. Within nine days, I had two fittings and a newly reconstructed dress. The price was well worth the custom alterations that I received. The dress fit beautifully! When I picked up the dress she had steamed it for me and wrapped it to help it keep its shape. Jenny is phenomenal! I would highly recommend working with her an any gown! When my original seamstress no-showed my first appointment leaving me alone with my wedding gown on her doorstep it was Jenny to the rescue. Jenny opened her studio an hour early for me the very next day to make sure my alterations began on time! Jenny fit my elegant designer ballgown to me like a glove! She made wonderful recommendations that made sure my dress looked like it was made just for me and still maintained all the important design features of the original dress. At my final fitting, you never would have known the dress had been altered - her work was pristine! Jenny graciously housed my dress for an extra week so that I could pick it up the day before my wedding and avoid bringing it home where my fiance might have seen and to avoid putting it in a closet and getting it wrinkled. I was referred to Jenny's shop after we bought our daughter's gown at LUV's Bridal. They recommended contacting her first (as they had a second seamstress on their list). We had our first visit ( July 2018)with Jenny, with the gown that was a size 6 but still too big for our daughter. I also had ordered lace from LUV's bridal so I could have a veil made with the matching lace. So it appeared it had to be altered mostly in the bodice area which made me nervous. She also recommended different bustles and worked on showing us which one was to our daughter's liking. There was a mix up in picking up the dress (August 2018) but Jenny graciously said she would have our dress ready for the next day. After seeing the dress on our daughter, it brought tears to my eyes, as the dress fit her perfectly and not a sign of any alterations! The veil was still in process of being completed but she showed us exactly where the lace would begin and how the scalloped edges would highlight the back of the gown. I know she is a great seamstress but she also understands a nervous mother of the bride and is such a delight to work with during a time where stress levels can run high. Jenny is absolutely wonderful! The first time meeting her she is extremely hospitable, very welcoming, and absolutely receptive to what you want and will do everything in her power to make your vision come true. My dress was a zipper in the back and it did not fit me quite well, so I asked if she could convert it to a corset lace backing and she did such a fantastic job! Currently she is working on the hem of my dress which I will get to see the finished product in a couple weeks. I will update and post pictures once the dress is completed! She is extremely talented, she knows what she is doing as she is very experienced, and will absolutely take care of you. I dropped off my dress feeling good, thinking it was in good hands. But when I went to pick it up (two weeks before my wedding), she hadn't even worked on it. She completely forgot! It was a detailed alteration and it was supposed to happen in two stages. And she knew my wedding was fast approaching, I even saw her mark the appointments and deadlines on her calendar. When I showed up, she was in the middle of another appointment and did not seem to know that we even had an appointment. So now, I have to scramble to try and find an alternative. She had my dress for a long time and I could have left it with someone else, but instead it was sitting at her place not being worked on at all. I would not trust her to meet a deadline. Not sure how well she sews as I just left with my dress and requested my money back. Would not recommend. read more

Jenny was absolutely amazing. I am very type A and was nervous to have ANYONE touch my dress, but was recommended to Jenny from Luv Bridal so I knew she would be good. Very passionate about her work, very knowledgeable and detail-oriented, and very flexible with her schedule. This review is a bit overdue, but I just wanted to express how absolutely pleased I was with Jenny's work. I had ordered my dress a size too large and Jenny basically remade the shape of the dress perfectly. She also helped me make some important style changes, removing intricate beading from a wide satin belt and then recreating the belt to be smaller and more my style. I could not be happier with the work Jenny did on my dress! I bought it off the rack so it was far from perfect when I brought it in. It had a broken strap, the zipper was busted, and it was much too big. She fixed all of this and even added a bustle so I would be comfortable on my wedding day. There's a side gate and you ring the doorbell, which leads to her work studio. My wedding dress fit perfectly around my waist, but the top of my dress had to be altered.
