Came here for a seaweed Brazilian wax, and I have no complaints. The studio is very clean and seems to be recently renovated maybe? The service itself was fairly painless. I believe they have 4 different types of soft wax to choose from. As for cleanliness, she scooped out some wax into a smaller pot designated for me, where she did double dip and reuse strips. I think it's fine as long as they use don't reuse the smaller pots between clients. Prices here are SUP ER competitive for waxing services. I believe Brazilians start at $35 (depending on the type of wax), which is insane. Overall, I think this place is a good bargain for a no frills Brazilian. Will probably be back and check out their sugaring services. read more

Skipped my normal spot to come here since I was pressed for time and had been to another of their locations downtown. There was a little bit of a wait with only one person working, but service was friendly. I've been going to this place to get my brows threaded for the past two years. There is usually not a wait - if there is, it'll be like 5-10 mins max. This place is not fancy. The bathroom is pretty run down and they only have one small room for waxing but it is clean. I do agree with past reviews that there is a language barrier but I have never had an issue with my brows being uneven or too thin. I explicitly tell them every time to keep my brows thicker and more natural. Sometimes it is a bit thinner than I would like but they manage to create an arch out of my straight eyebrows so I don't mind because it looks good. Usually, they put aloe on your eyebrows afterward to make the redness/swelling go down which is a nice touch. What makes me like this place better than others is the price - it's only $7 to get eyebrows threaded which is so affordable. They also have the Belly program which allows you to check in every time you come so after a certain number of visits, you get a free threading. If you are very particular, it might be better to go somewhere else but this is a solid choice for someone who needs to get their eyebrows cleaned up and not majorly shaped. read more

Highlight: She was very nice and tried to talk and distract me throughout the wax. Cons: The Brazilian did not include whole area and you had to pay extra for it. It was also very slow and painful (she had to go over the same areas multiple times) and she didn't get all the hairs. read more

Burned me twice with wax. The first time my skin was peeling, similar to a peeling sun burn. I gave them a second shot, only waxing under arme and arms this time but it was a mistake. They left a huge chunk of wax on my hand and it became so painful to remove, I had to go home and soak it in baby oil and then put first aid cream on it. The worst part is they didn't seem to understand the gravity of the burn. read more

Agree with the other negative reviews here. The language barrier proves to be a huge problem. Before sitting down, I asked to have my eyebrows a little thicker, repeating it twice... instead she made my eyebrows unbelievably thin. I don't mind a language barrier but if she didn't understand what I was asking, I'd prefer she ask before she starts picking off my eyebrows. The shape wasn't even good, so I don't even have that going for my eyebrows now Won't ever come back and probably will have to grow my eyebrows out for months.... read more

I have been going to this threading location on and off and have has no issues. Yesterday I walked in and there no one there and I was happy for no wait time. However, the threading lady stayed on the phone the entire time she threaded by brows and upper lip, on her bluetooth speaking loudly in Punjabi...very very unprofessional! I came here for my first ever Brazilian wax using a Groupon voucher and I did chocolate. Great first experience! I had an appointment and didn't wait more than 5 minutes to get in but there were other people waiting once I was done since there were a few people in line for waxes (including full body). Nadia was amazing! At first we didn't talk as I would expect with a wax and it was a little awkward, but as it went on we talked more and I felt comfortable! Nadia is super sweet and talked to me about how waxing helps vs shaving, etc. and went above and beyond to get all of my stubborn hairs after years of shaving/trimming. The care and expertise were there. I am coming back for the second session and am going to try the CBD wax and compare but I would definitely recommend this place for waxes! read more

I had come to Perfect Brows for years and had great service, however after COVID there is only one staff member in at all times. This resulted in waiting over 30 minutes to be taken care of. The only staff member wasn't even at the front to greet customers coming in, only yelled out of the room to sit and wait. This truly absurd in this sort of establishment. My underams were not even waxed well because the lady was rushing, as there were many other customers waiting too. Unacceptable and will not be returning. Do NOT recommend. read more

I went in with eyebrows and came out with thin invisible lines. I made the mistake of letting someone new in the salon thread my brows and I have nothing left. Do not go here. Im-perfect brows is more like it. I wish I had noticed the review from April sharing the bad experience a customer had at this place. I also found that the women's poor command of English is a detriment to explaining what you want, even when using common terms to discuss the shape of eye brows, such as "straight!". Which is how one of my brows ended up looking. One had an arch, and the other didn't. When I explained what was wrong, even though it was obvious, the woman wasn't able to follow along. Also, I've noticed that the women are often on their phones, having long and loud personal conversations. And all the while with background music blaring. I had one positive experience, but this place is just too hit and miss. A real shame. read more

The people who work here are always nice. And I used to always go here to get my eyebrows done but I don't go at all anymore. The last few times I went this past year, have been terrible. They always mess up my eyebrows. They don't listen to how you want your eyebrows to look. My eyebrows always come out thin and uneven.
