I had a wonderful experience at Perfect Fit Bridal! My wedding is in four months, so I was nervous I wouldn't be able to find something I loved that would also fit the short timeline. Taylor immediately put my worries to ease! She is so knowledgeable and helpful (and really knows her brides) -- told me she should be the one stressing, not me! The selection is wonderful, for all sizes. The dressing suite is also really nice and private. I had four people with me, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax while I tried on the dresses. Taylor was super helpful in the dressing room and made me feel totally comfortable. Brittany (who was shadowing Taylor) completely understood the vibe I was going for and immediately pulled the dress I ended up choosing. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that it's all over! If you are looking for a wedding dress, I would recommend Perfect Fit. If you are looking to get suits/tuxedos, get them somewhere else! I purchased my wedding dress from here and had both my mother's dress and my dress altered here as well. We both had a great experience and loved working with the seamstress--no issues there. Since I had a great experience on the bridal side, I recommended to my husband that he get his party's suits from here as well. That was a huge mistake! We went in about three months before the wedding and picked out the suits, including groom's tux, best man's suit, 2 groomsmen suits, and both fathers' suits. On recommendation from the tux salesperson, we made sure everyone came in a month before the wedding to get fitted so they could get everything in on time. We were told that the suits would be in either Tuesday or Wednesday (at the latest) before the Saturday wedding. I thought that was cutting it a little close if things didn't fit to get replacements, but I trusted that they knew what they were doing. The grooms' party received calls on Wednesday that everything was in and to go pick up. However, the groom's tux did not come in until the Thursday before the wedding, even though we had been promised Wednesday at the latest, and we were told that if everything did not fit, we were pretty much SOL because they would not have time to get replacements. Thank goodness when it did come in everything mostly fit...at least for the groom. We had issues with almost everyone else's suits--only the best man's suit and one of the groomsmen's suits actually fit. Everyone else's suits had issues.... One of the groomsmen's suits was WAY too small--like multiple sizes, can't even button it too small! They got him a replacement shirt that came in the day before the wedding that was still too small! He ended up having to go out and buy his own shirt--even after paying Perfect Fit $189 for a suit rental that did not fit! Both his vest and jacket were also too small and even after adjustments made by Perfect Fit and having to pick it up the day before the wedding, leaving no time to make any additional adjustments, both were still too small. He even had to take the suit off in the middle of the wedding because he felt like he was going to rip it. Both of the fathers' suits had issues as well. The father of the groom's vest was two sizes too big and he ended up in a vest that did not match because of the rush to fix it. Also, the father of the groom's vest was too small and pants were too large. He kept having to pull up his pants throughout the day. No weight fluctuations or anything like that in between the fitting and the wedding (for any of the groom's party), so this was entirely Perfect Fit's fault! On top of all this, my husband (and I) were stressing the week before the wedding with all of the issues caused by Perfect Fit, and we were getting multiple different stories from them. They were telling someone one thing and my husband something completely different. Totally unprofessional. Due to their incompetence, my wedding photos were ruined because one of our groomsmen didn't feel comfortable in his suit because it was too small--the suit jacket not even covering his stomach, and he had to take the suit off halfway through the wedding because it was so uncomfortable for him! If they were not able to get a good size for him, they could have told us ahead of time and we could have went somewhere else that could, but they failed to do so. Again, I can't even comprehend the incompetence of the tux side of this business, and I wish I would have listened to my husband and let them go to Men's Warehouse...where it would've been WAY cheaper and most likely avoided all of these issues and stress! read more

Nearly every bad review you find about them online is about bad experiences with suits that don't fit and staff that couldn't care less. Got married in April 2021. Had to be measured 4 times and they still didn't get any of the 3 wedding party suits right. Too small, poorly fitted, and poor communication. Day of, my groomsman had to use tennis shoes in photos because the Perfect Fit left them out. Had to send his wife back last minute to get them. This place was a nightmare not only for me but also for other bridesmaids and the bride. I was told that my measurements were a size 14. When I disagreed (I'm 5'1", 120 lbs) The owner said that the dresses run small and that's the size either of my 3 measurements fits. And so I asked to try on their 12. It zipped and was loose. The owner told me that it was stretched out and buckling in the back so it was too small, I needed the 14. Our dresses took months to come in. When it did come in I came to try it on because I knew it would need hemming. The owner was going to do my alterations and was really rude about the fact that I HAD to bring my child. She asked if she was going to sit still for a half hour and so I asked why it would be a half hour when you promised it would fit? It should only need gemming. The dress was a complete tent on me, there wasn't anywhere that fit. The owner came in smiling and asked how it fit and I said... like you made me order a size 14 and it doesn't fit. She said well, one measurement fits we have to order the biggest measurement that it fits. I asked which measurement it fit? At this point she can tell I'm upset so she sends someone else in to pin my dress for alterations. The new seamstress ASKED WHY I ORDERED SUCH A BIG DRESS. Well, when I came to pick back up my dress they completely butchered it. The zipper wouldn't go up all the way and they ghetto rigged it. I took it home very upset, the dress looked like trash. It looked like I attempted to alter myself, not professional seamstress. So I called and complained and the owner had me bring it back in. She said that they just "didn't want to mess with the zipper because of how big it is" and that they'll fix it. She assured me they wouldn't take the back of the dress down lower. I went to pick the dress back up the 3rd time. It looked terrible on me. They lowered the back so couldn't wear a regular strapless bra. The outside lining is sheer and you can see all of the dents in the inside lining caused by it being so big. I asked if they could fix it they said they couldn't because of how big the dress was. I asked the owner again why did you make me order a size 14? And she said I had the right to order any size I wanted. She offered to show me my measurements multiple times. I asked for an apology and she couldn't even do that, she just had excuse after excuse. My dress had at least two inches of room on both sides of my bust So, long story short, Perfect Fit literally won't give you a perfect fit. read more

I am a maid of honor for my sister's wedding and the stylist just pulled dresses for the skinny bridesmaids and was flabbergasted that I was the maid of honor and going to be in the wedding. My sister began pulling dresses for me and eventually we found something I was told I had to lose over 50lbs to fit into that would be in by my sister's wedding. Horrible! Sold a dress to them and put it on sale WITHOUT notifying me. They claimed they only sold my $500 dress for $100. Very unlikely! This place is crap. They "measured" me and ordered me a size 12 for my bridesmaid dress. After that and before I got my dress I started shopping for my own wedding dress at davids bridal. They re measured me there IM A SIZE 6! So needless to say when my bridesmaid dress came in it fell straight to the floor because it was so large. This has been an absolute terrible experience! My brother is getting married in four days...FOUR DAYS! Today my husband went in to get his tux, as he is one of the groomsmen, perfect fit still does NOT have the tux in. On top of that, all the bridesmaids dresses were ordered here, we were told to get the sizes they required or if there were any issues, there was nothing Perfect Fit could do. Understandable. HOWEVER, my dress was way too large and my sister's dress was way too small. When we called to address the issue, Perfect Fit said they would like to remeasure us and that my sister must have gained weight! ARE YOU JOKING!? If that was the case, I must have also lost 30 pounds, right? WRONG. The alterations ended up costing more than the dress itself and the team was unbelievably rude when we called. If I could give this place a negative star I would..... let me start by saying that I called initially and asked if they had plus size bridesmaids dress to try on because two of my bridal party girls are plus size wearing a size 22 or bigger. Most bridesmaids dresses on UK sizes so they needed to have at least a size 22 to 28 for them to try on and the woman told methat they do have dresses and a lot of them to try on. when we got there at the initial appointment they first off made us wait a while before the consultant came and got us when the shop was dead... and when we started to pull bridesmaid dresses they had maybe 2 dresses that honestly fit my size 22 bridesmaid. And the rest and the rest were size 14's dresses and they fit my size 8 friend.... the consultant said she would help them and ended up just standing outside the door twiddling her thumbs while I pinned and clipped the girls in their dresses. And when I asked her why they said they had plus size dresses to try and don't she said " well we can order them but not to try on".........First of all you cannot call yourself a plus size shop if you have one dress in a size 22 and no more larger than that that is absolutely asinine. DO NOT GO TO PERFECT Fit!!! There are better bridal stores out there that do not body shame and will make you feel more comfortable. I will tell anyone not to go here. It was terrible. read more

I have been coming here for 10 years, me and my husband got our high school prom attire and eventually our wedding dress and tux. I recently went in to find a dress to renew my vows. I was not asked when it was. I told them I was leaning toward a party dress instead of another wedding dress. She took me to the clx section and said "well these you dont have to order" i had a year to find my dress. I told her i was looking for a tea length dress or something that could be altered to be that length. She took me to the mother of the bride section....I'm 26 I dont want a dress meant for someone twice my age. I finally told her I would just look around, found one i loved but when she approached me again, instead of telling me that we could order it in my size (dress was a 2 and I'm a 12) she told me I'd never fit in it. I was very disappointed with my experience at Perfect Fit. Most of the staff were unfriendly and seemingly short tempered. When I brought my bridesmaids in to get fitted, the woman helping us commented on how big one of the girls butt's were and how the other girl "was a bigger size than she thought she would be". I was so disgusted! They made the bridesmaids order extra length with their dresses and every one of them ended up getting that extra length cut off (so an extra expense for no reason). They also swore to us that their hemming would be the cheapest around at $65. My bridesmaids went elsewhere and got theirs done for $30 or less. When I got my dress altered, the woman did not have the attitude that someone should have when working with brides. She seemed like she hated her job and was sick of dealing with brides. Lastly, when I went to pick up my dress one of the owners was disciplining an employee right in front of the customers. It was not done tactfully and was embarrassing for all of the people in the store (busy day/time as well). I did get my dress off the clearance rack and the price was too good to beat! I recommended Perfect Fit because I had started going there for my daughter's prom dresses. My future daughter-in-law on my advise took her bridal party there in February and ordered dresses. In June she called and was told the dresses would not be in until July so we got the dresses this week and I call for alterations and I'm told they are booked until August 12th to even be seen by someone to alter the dress. The dress came with instructions and pricing but that really isn't any help since they can't alter them before the Aug 15th wedding. One of the bridesmaids is a size 4 and received a size 10 dress when asked to look at the paperwork they were denied. Clearly the dress is too large and they are unable to fix that. My experience with Perfect Fit for my bridal gown was a total nightmare. I found a gown I loved but I was concerned that when I got it in my size it would show too much cleavage. They assured me that the gown would cover my chest and recommended that I order a size 8 based on my measurements. My dress came in and the size 8 did not cover my cleavage at all. A family friend who owns a different bridal salon saw me in the dress and said that they absolutely ordered me the wrong size. The manager at Perfect Fit was argumentative and abrasive when we voiced our concerns about the dress, blaming the size choice on me and saying that my "bust was too big". I visited dozens of upscale bridal salons in Birmingham, MI but ultimately found my dream dress at "Perfect Fit" in Clio. The prices were very affordable (1k+) compared to metro Detroit (3k+) and the designers featured were equally as sophisticated and beautiful. I was really impressed with the salon's selection which I was told is the largest in Michigan and appreciated the private feeling I got with my own mirror/dressing room space. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't busy but they had late hours and were even open on Sunday which is great. Skylar, my sales associate, was very knowledgeable and helpful with my decision. After I thought I had looked through and tried all the dresses in my criteria (15+ in 2-3 hours), she found THE ONE for me that I love. She respected my budget and wasn't pushy at all which I appreciate since it's a big decision, especially when you are paying for it yourself! Lastly, I appreciated the efforts she made to show me the dress in different lighting, take pictures, provide accessories and offer a payment plan. I called a second time, got put on hold for 5 minutes, then a woman answered and said "Sorry, were too busy to answer your call. Just call back another time" and hung up on me! I wore a size 4 dress to prom a few months back and they ordered my bridesmaid dress in a size 10 so I was forced to have it altered there. I have more patience and understanding then most people dealing with customers because I have many years of customer service under my belt, but this place just really got me with how I was treated. I was livid with the owner of this place the other day when I visited them for my alteration appointment. I had called to make my appointment and they didn't have any availabilities till two weeks out. I was willing to wait because I have been to them before and liked their work. I showed up for my appointment carting in my 5 and 2 year old and was greeted nicely and put in the alteration room. When the gal (the owner) came and asked me for the bride's name so she can pull my bridesmaids dress I began to tell her that I didn't purchase my dress from there. I already had my dress and it just needed to be altered. Instead of her apologizing for a change in policy she very rudely told me that they didn't alter dresses that weren't purchased from their shop. I tried to pack up my kids and dress as quickly as I could and explained to her that it would have been nice to been told that on the phone when I called two weeks ago. If they would have asked and told me then I would have found a different place to go to. Now I have a very bitter taste in my mouth with that place and will never return or recommend them. They are now on the same horrible list with David's Bridal in my mind. If the owner had even said it nicer to me and apologized for the policy change I wouldn't have been as mad. Can I give this place a negative star please? When I came here looking for a wedding dress, the girl was VERY helpful. Almost too helpful, actually. I told her my price limit was 1,500, which meant that every dress she brought to me was exactly around 1,500, not one was $100 lower than 1,500. Fine, I could deal with the price. But when I tried on a dress, she would ooh and ahh over it like there's no tomorrow. The last dress I tried on, she called her co-workers in the dressing room to tell me how good I looked. I felt so pressured to say yes that I said yes to the dress and put a down payment on it- even though I hated it! The next day I called back, explained the situation, and asked to have my money back. I only paid $150 on it so far, so it shouldn't be a big deal, right? Wrong! The owner literally had me in tears as he screamed at me, yelling that all sales are final and it was my fault for buying the dress. When I told him I'll be telling others about this, he said he'd rather keep my money than get new customers. Really? So I lost $150 on the dress but please, take my warning and DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! They have a mid-sized selection but the employees are all about making their cut on the dress you buy and the owner is a huge jerk. I've heard other brides mention how they've heard the owner yelling at customers or even his employees. Don't support this man! On a side note, I've also gotten a bridesmaid dress here for my sister's wedding. The employee's don't ask for your approval of the size, they measure you and order your dress without telling you what size you are. At the time I ordered this dress, I was a size 2. When I got the dress, it was a size 16. 16! It literally fell off of me when I tried it on. I asked why they would order me such a large dress and they said that "it's common for girls to gain weight when they're in a wedding." Uhh, no it's not? Isn't it the opposite? Don't most girls try to lose weight? I was livid. They ordered me a bigger dress on purpose just so I'd have to pay them to alter it. I didn't get it altered there obviously. 3 other girls in my sister's bridal party had the same thing happen to them as well. Another girl was a size 8, got a size 22, another was a size 0, got a size 20, and the third was a size 8, and got a size 20. Seriously, how does that work? Please, don't go to this place. read more

Everything with my experience went ok until the alterations. The woman who was doing my alterations was the owner I believe... She charged me 330$ to bring up the bottom of the dress, add a bustle and cups. I have never had a dress altered before so I had no idea how awful of a price this was. She was very cold and made me feel uncomfortable. I told her multiple times that my dress was too tight and she said there was nothing that could be done. I went for my final fitting and again stressed my issue with how tight it was. Again, nothing that can be done and "it would be ok". I was in a bridal party this past fall and we got our bridesmaids dresses, and the bride got her wedding dress, from Perfect Fit. The young lady that helped us during the initial dress choosing was very nice, but the mood changed once we got over to the alterations area where they would be taking our measurements. One woman took measurements and said them out loud to the lady writing them down. This wasn't really a big deal except when they reached the last girl in the group. The last girl to be measured was the smallest of the group, and the woman taking the measurements looked at her and said, "I won't read your measurements out loud so the other girls won't feel bad." We were all quite shocked by such a rude and thoughtless statement and the girl getting measured was very embarrassed. After measurements were taken, we were told that the particular dress we picked runs small, so they would need to order a size up for everyone. Upon the arrival of the dresses, however, every bridesmaid was swimming in their dress. My dress wouldn't even begin to stay up and I know weight loss wasn't a factor. They had to bring it in almost 2" on each side. Again ALL the bridesmaids had to have alterations, pretty extreme ones, so the most logical assumption is that they ordered up a size so alterations, and the fees that go with it, would be guaranteed. Upon picking up my dress, after alterations, the waist band fell half off when I touched it and the dress was still too large. They brought it in about 1" on each side. Again, I doubt weight loss was less of a culprit than shoddy sewing. I received no apology or any show of remorse during any of this, even when I let them know that I have to drive an hour and a half to get to Perfect Fit from my home. Luckily, the Bride was able to pick the dress up for me so I didn't have to make the drive again, but she shouldn't have had to. The consultants are wonderful. The hours are great but the alterations are horrible. I had to take my dress back the day before the wedding ( mother of the bride.). The dress had ruching which had been tacked down. It was coming out before I even tried it on. I took it back and had it redone. On the day of the wedding the new alterations were falling out as soon as I had taken it out of the garment bag. I had no choice but to wear it. Also my alterations cost more than the dress because they have you order it two sizes to big. The store has a great selection and wonderful sales people but that's all it has. read more

I can't give you any advise on shopping there for their dresses because I was a bridesmaid in my experience. But I can tell you that they have no clue how to measure you for your dress. When I was measured they told me I would be a 10. I was pretty amazed because I am always a 2-4 in dresses and I asked how they got that. She said it was because my hips measure a 10. I laughed and said I wear a size 4-6 pant and this dress is an umpire waist so the hips don't matter anyway. They said I could order whatever size I want but I have to sign a waver. This made me nervous that the dress would be too small so I ordered a 6 which I thought was safe. I got the dress and it is wayyyy to big. I tried on one of the other bridesmaids size 4 dress and even that was too big. When I was in the store trying the dress on when it came in I explained to the lady who was helping me that the reason this dress doesn't fit is because they don't know how to measure and she said "well thats why we have affordable alterations". HAHAHA if you call a side seam take in thats $30.00 and then $40.00 for the hem affordable then go right ahead and have them alter it. I say all of this to say they give you a much too big dress so that you can pay them more for alterations. read more
