This outfits summer or winter uses my access from the street to get to my neighbors house. Their mode is to do crap like blow leaves off her property onto mine, or to mow over the property line, or with winter use my clean drive and walk to get to her place. This storm brought me here to comment since they did not finish the job on the sidewalk and they rolled equipment over the snow they blewsnow onto my property leaving a 10 foot strip of packed snow on the sidewalk that I will need to clean up. They didn't even get to her property line. But in the interest of public safety, I will clean this up on their behalf. I cannot see the value of a place that messes up your neighbor's property. That neglect and disrespect is garbage. Before you or your neighbor becomes a customer, this seems like good information to know. read more

Meh. The lawn mowers blew leaves into the beds to protect their "mowers", then wanted to charge us $250 for leaf cleanup of the beds where they blew the leaves. We didn't take the bait and cleaned up their mess. These guys have semi-industrial (500+ cc) riding mowers that can easily mow over leaves yet they "protect" them by blowing them and making additional work. Keep in mind we were able to mow over the leaves with our basic gas powered (160cc) push mower without any issues for 3 years. The owner responded to my original post and the response indicated he was clueless about the issue. That response made me lower the star review. If you are going to apologize, try to comprehend the problem first. read more

I've used Perfect Landscapes for the past 5 years at two of my homes. I have weekly mowing and several other ongoing services to keep our yard looking great. It's really nice to see how green and well kept our yard is compared to the others in the neighborhood. Everything has been done as they said. It's a "set it and forget it" service. I've never had an issue that wasn't easily resolved with an email or phone call. Several of the negative reviews here are because of communication issues, specifically customers failing to communicate with the business properly. read more

We were improving our property and it involved completely updating the exterior landscape. New sod, trees, bushes, a firepit, lighting on a timer, automated sprinkler, etc. My parents have used Perfect Landscapes for over a decade and loved all their work. The work done on our property was very high quality and it actually prompted 2 of our immediate neighbors to upgrade their landscaping as well. We've been using Perfect Landscapes for the past 2 years. We needed a dependable mowing company that would keep to a more rigid schedule than the norm. (We adopted 2 'houdini' rescues & need to know our yard is secure when we leave the doggy door open.) We interviewed several companies & Alex was the most responsive & sympathetic to our issues. They have been really great with the schedule; the yard consistently is & looks professionally mowed. Alex has also been very responsive to other landscape tasks we've requested. We just had them mulch, trim the ornamental grasses & bulbs & remove leaves. The yard looks terrific! I've also received excellent, friendly & professional care from Karen in their office. Sent the bill to old address, never called and sent bill to collections just like other reviewer. I can't believe this place is still in business. RUN AWAY! CALL ANYONE ELSE! We were referred to this company by a friend of the owners. I used Perfect Landscapes for one season and they did a great job on the house. We then sold the house and were never contacted the next season until after 5 months worth of work to let us know that they had never received payment. No invoices were sent, no calls to us were made. They were simply abusing the terms of the contract to slide by 5 months without us paying before they decided to call us, we then told them the situation and they said they would call us back. 9-month later we get a call that they sent us to collections!.... Would never do business with these crooks again! I have had plenty of landscape companies in the past but never one this bad. read more

I ordered a landscape design for $250. After 4-5 months of delays and promises I gave up and asked for my money back. They were happy to send a refund back without any hassle. Just disappointed that I was on the bottom of the priority list. Not a good way to treat new customers. read more

I used Perfect Landscape for simple lawn work, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, etc and to plant ground cover in a small area. Sadly, they botched almost every task assigned. Mowed the grass to low, trimmed plants that shouldn't be trimmed, pulled expensive ornamental ground covers like they were weeds, and tasks partially completed... Failures were many. I'd blame inexperienced workers, complete lack of on-job supervision/training, and poor communications. Prices were too high for such sloppy service. I hire a company like this so I don't need to worry about the yard. Very frustrating. read more

I am fairly pleased with the lawn, but working with these people is an exercise in aggravation every time you have to speak to the office staff. They are rude, condescending and anything but customer focused. I hesitantly referred them to the new owner moving into my home, after today's conversation, I'm going to tell them that was a mistake. We have been using Perfect Landscapes for the past year for mulching, spring clean-up, plant & tree fertilization and mowing services. They have consistently provided excellent customer service for reasonable prices and are extremely pleased with the results. The Perfect Landscapes staff is always courteous, notify us by either knocking on the door when they are on our property or leave a sign that they have provided a service, and are very responsive about returning phone calls and e-mails. They are accessible and accommodating if there are any issues with our lawn care or health of the trees and bushes on our property. I contracted this company for an entire year (8 months) of all-inclusive lawn/shrub/tree care. I chose all inclusive as I wanted to see the true dollar cost versus the return and my job really limits my free time/availability to do it myself. After completing the contract and reaching out to other lawncare companies I have seen that their prices are OUTRAGEOUS compared to their competitors. The workers are talented and try to be helpful, but they just didn't perform as they billed. They also overcharged me on two occasions charging me a few hundred dollars for services that were completed in about 20 minutes! Bottom line is that I spent over $3600 in lawn care(mowing/trimming/weeding/fertilizing/seeding/pruning/gardening) alone and this spring I notice NO difference in my lawn over my neighbors lawn who only cuts and he does it himself. The only thing they did that I was pleased with was remove a dying tree. They had to come back twice to remove the root system though, while leaving my front yard a mess for a week. Unhappy. Do your homework, interview companies. Hire someone else. read more

PERFECT LANDSCAPES ISN'T SO PERFECT. We live in an end unit town home that is backed by lots of trees.......as a result we get LOTS of leaves and debris that accumulates in our yard and inside our patio -- particularly debris that gets trapped in cable wires in a rock bed under our back porch. I contacted Perfect Landscapes in mid February and requested clean up of all mulch beds on the property, as well as clean up of all the patio debris, and remulching and edging. I asked if they could have it done by April 10th. I received a prompt response, as well as another call in early April to schedule a date. They sent me a contract, requesting 60% down and 40% upon completion. I promptly sent the 60% deposit. Around 8 a.m. on the day PL was due to arrive, I received a call from Robert who informed me that 3 of his men had not shown up for work that day, and he would need to reschedule for the next day or so. No problem -- I appreciated the call. I came home from work on April 9th and my mulch beds looked beautiful -- spotless clean up and lovely red mulch. However, there were still a lot of leaves on the lawn..............I went out to the patio -- the mulch beds were clean and lovely, but all of the heavy debris under the porch as well as in a corner of patio remained. No edging had been done anywhere either. We had company coming to visit us the next day, so I went ahead the finished the clean up myself -- I wanted to have it done so we could enjoy the patio [something I had told Robert when we first spoke]. It took me over 2 hours, down on my hands and knees to clean out the debris. That evening I sent Robert an email, telling him that the job had not been completed, but that I was happy with the work that DID get done. I asked that they either forfeit the remaining 40% due or seriously reduce it to compensate for what did not get completed. Again, Robert promptly responded and said he would get back to me. What ensued is extremely disappointing. The next day, I received an email from Robert saying that his worker stated they HAD done all the clean up -- including the rock bed -- but that the wind had blown leaves from my neighbors yard back into mine. How in the world 3 bags of leaves and debris can blow back OVER a 6 foot fence and get trapped in a rock bed under my porch WITHIN A MATTER OF 3 HOURS is completely unfathomable. Although Robert "tried to understand my perspective", he NEVER came out to inspect the job himself, he took the word of his worker over mine........and the owner of the company, Pamela Brown, did the same. At no time did EITHER of them come out to the home to see what I was talking about. The nonsense of going back and forth over the $112 balance was ultimately not worth the hassle, and I paid the remaining 40%, but the principle that "The customer is always right" simple DOES NOT apply to Perfect Landscapes. The work that they DID complete is lovely, but if you intend to hire them, I suggest you make SURE you are home when the work is being done and that you make SURE the manager comes out to immediately inspect the job as soon as it is completed. DO NOT expect them to be concerned about your satisfaction otherwise. read more

Do not be scammed by this company!!!! They do terrible work!!!! My uncle had them put in a patio this past year. They were more exspensive than the other bids that he recieved, but he was assured by the owner that the work would be superior to the competitions. After delaying the project for 2 MONTHS (mind you they had a 50% deposit), they sent TWO PEOPLE to start the job. Needless to say the project lasted for WEEKS. What a horrible way to do business. The end result looks awful...BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! read more
