Absolutely wonderful! If you got textured/curly hair, ask for Linh!! She cut my hip length hair into an A-line bob and styled it EXACTLY like the picture I showed her! She did it right the first time and kept the conversation flowing and interesting throughout the whole experience. She's got 20+ years of experience and constantly loves new hair challenges. 10/17/22 I walked into salon at 7411 NE 117th Ave Vancouver WA. Neari was available to cut and style my hair. She did a wonderful job. She did exactly as i asked. I am coming back to rant about my horrible hair. I am only 16 and this Renee "stylist" OBLITERATED my hair. I asked for layers, she gave me shelves. She dried and styled my hair as she went so she couldn't compare length to the hair that was wet and un cut so nothing is even in length. First time having my hair done here. Susan was a delight and did a fantastic job!! Decent prices and relaxed atmosphere. Recommend :)

Worst cut I've ever gotten. I did not know how horrible the back looked until I got home because I was never offered a mirror to look at the back. This cut can not be corrected because of the strange short length. The back is cut very high and straight across and even the "straight across" is uneven. I paid $39 without a shampoo to have my hair look like this which is unacceptable. I asked why I was being charged $39 and she told me she substituted the shampoo for styling. Styling consisted of 1 minute blow dry (my hair is very fine and thin) and a couple of spritzes of hairspray, no curling of any type or time taken with what you would expect with styling. And she said their rates have gone up. I was stupid and left a tip because I did not know how the back looked. When I got home I checked the rates for their location online and she overcharged me $8 if she were substituting the "styling" for the shampoo. I attached a copy of my emailed receipt and it shows I was charged for a shampoo, cut and style. Shame on her! She is a long time employee and knew what she was doing! I will need to wear a hat or scarf for the next month or two until it grows out enough to get the cut fixed at a different salon. Obviously I will never go back to this salon. I am too embarrassed to have anyone see the back. I could cry. This cut would look bad on a man but is even worse for a women. This was the salon on Mcgillivray in Vancouver. read more

Took forever, she was extremely inexperienced, and the front was a hot mess when she was done. I asked for curtain bangs and got about a half inch of hair cut very short over my eyebrows. For the sides, she kept asking me if it looked even - it didn't. Ever. Finally I said it was okay just to get out of the salon. Just a bad experience overall. This was in the Vancouver, WA salon, and I won't be back. read more

I'm not writing for bad services, I'm writing as it hit me what had just happened. I walk in to get my hair cut, shampoo and blow dried (did not ask for style). She says ok, I'll do the blow pro on you it keeps your hair straight for a few longer days. Not really think about cost, because it wasn't mentioned. When she was done this cost almost $70 dollars for a simple cut request shampoo and blow dry. If I had been told the cost I would of never allowed. You can't not tell people how much this blow pro will cost. I'll never be back. read more

I asked for highlights and a trim which before COVID was only 120 as I went last year. After trying to charge me 45 dollars to blow dry my hair I left crying about my bangs because my hair dresser "knew" what I wanted. I got straight across bangs when I asked for swoop bangs across the top. Offered to show a picture and got "I get what you mean". I left hating my hair length. Got told I would be charged more to cut the ends and thin out my hair. So my bangs are trash my highlights don't sit on my face correctly either since.. It's been almost a month and you'd think my bangs would have been fixed yet they're only worse. It's my own fault because I paid her to make me look stupid. I wish I remembered the ladies name. Giving 3 stars because if you go here ONLY WORK WITH LYNN! She's the manager and the only one who seems to know about fashion and style. I understand the haircut is cheap, but cheap doesn't mean you should do your job like crap. I have long curly hair and went in to get a trim and some slight layers and some general shaping. Nothing too complicated. Even brought in a picture. First off went to get a cup of coffee. Took one swig and it was the coffee from the previous day and was cold. Ick but whatever. Then the stylists are kind of conversing back and forth who is going to take me because they were busy (I'm guessing the perms that they had waiting brought in more money so no one was to excited but still unprofessional). So finally I get my "stylist" and show her a picture of what I'm thinking of. Instead of a few blended layers I got about 3-4 stair step layers. Horrible looking. The bottom layer was about four very obvious and unblended inches from the next one and I had a random high level layer near my shoulders! First time I've ever had someone cut my curly hair dry too. It's like they just wanted tp get the clients out the door. I got my hair recut today. The stylist was pretty taken aback by the hack job. Spend a little more and go to an actual salon. Your hair will thank you. read more

Only reason I came here was because the barbers had hour wait or so. Terrible haircut, I have never felt so rushed, will not be back ever. First of she was so rushed (think her name was Lin) to get my hair done, never once asked me how it looks or what i really wanted I had to tell her twice to make it shorter on top. Still didn't listen to me, finally I said it's fine even though it wasn't. Second after she said I was done, I told her can you please shorten my sideburns. She didn't even bother putting the apron on me she ended just trimming it without asking length, and it got hair down my shirt and all over my shorts. No offer to style my hair or put product in not even a shampoo offer. I understand there were women waiting so I guess they have more priorities than a guys haircut. After the worst haircut ever along with my uneven sideburns. I was charged 32 dollars for a not even 15 min haircut, which is a outrageous price. Wow now I have to figure out how to fix my hair without paying more money someone else. Let alone all the hair that ended up down my shirt ugh! So frustrating. read more

Jessica displayed extreme competence. I found her skill excellent as she cut my hair. The " A-Line " style of cut looks great. The shop is very punctual in it's ability to estimate next available opening. Price was great at about 30$ for everything. The shop was clean and friendly. read more
